Garrett and his team provided excellent service all the way down to the closing. Would recommend them for all your financing needs.

Phenomenal...great rates, fast turnaround, extremely organized. You shouldn't be using anyone else in Franklin.

There have been serious concerns involving faulty workmanship, including one home fire and another home reportedly developing black mold in the HVAC system shortly after the homeowners moved in. Please do your research carefully before choosing this builder.

I teetered between 3 and 4 stars, and landed on 3, and that's comfortable. We purchased a new build from Meritage in 2022 within the Skyridge community which is a single family and townhome community just north of downtown Nashville. Sales process was fairly easy, as was the financing part. We kept it all in house due to the financing discounts and credits, which at the time, helped us buy our rate down a bit. I will say that we were originally in a townhome, but the building turned out to be a different color than we were initially told and that was a deal breaker for me. Fortunately they had a new construction that had yet to go under contract that met all my needs and wants, including the color. So, it all worked out! While things have been good for us and we have had no major quality issues, I will say that dealing with warranty is a bit more hassle than it should be. From your warranty rep to the claims and then follow up process...all harder on the homeowner than it should be. From a community standpoint, I do wish Meritage communicated better to their homeowners, especially through the remaining construction process. There have been surprises built in conjunction with our community that if I would have been told up front, I may have thought a bit more or asked a few more questions before signing up. Additionally, I wish the community would have some sense of public space, like anything...a small dog park, benches, walking trail, etc...legit anything. While I live in single family, the townhome portion has been occupied for close to two years and is still struggling with getting working street lights. Which is insane. Not super impactful for me, but crazy for the community as a whole. Overall, we have enjoyed and still enjoy our time within Skyridge. We love our home and appreciate Meritage for what we can! I have no issue recommending Skyridge and Meritage to others interested in new builds.

Although we purchased in a different location, we had to stay with Tyler at Marshall Reddick because of the amazing service. After several weeks of research, he found us the next perfect purchase. His connections and network made it possible to get a deal done. We are thankful for him & his team for their efforts. Me and my wife cannot recommend Tyler or Marshall Reddick highly enough.

I explained that I understood repairs could take a few days if something needed to be fixed, but I never expected to deal with ongoing A/C problems for more than 2 months. Since moving in, the A/C has repeatedly stopped working. I have now been informed that drywall will need to be removed so that ductwork can be installed to vents that were apparently never connected to the A/C system. Finding out that the home has missing or improperly connected ductwork after moving in is extremely concerning. I also never received a move-in inspection before taking possession of the property. Because I rented the home sight unseen, I expected there to be an opportunity to document the condition of the property when I moved in. That never happened. Now I'm almost positive I'll lose my security deposit even with all the videos and pictures I took prior to moving my stuff in. If you are considering renting through Marshall Reddick, I would strongly recommend documenting everything yourself, keeping all communication in writing, and thoroughly inspecting the property before signing or taking possession. And if A/C is a BIG make-it or break-it, like it is for me, then good luck trying to get them to put it into your lease contract. They'll just reassure you it will be just fine. Then months later during the summer you barely have A/C.

Our experience with MIG was awful. As a first-time homebuyer, I used MIG because my realtor…read moresuggested them. However, my MIG loan agent was disorganized to the point of inconsiderate (ie. inputting my social wrong on a form despite confirming the number on other forms was correct, causing delays) and outright rude (ie. verbatim telling my bank I don't know what I'm doing while on a group call- but props to USAA for privately telling me afterward that that's not normal or acceptable). I've never felt so belittled as an adult but I felt stuck as we were already in too deep on the process of getting a house. Now I know better. And my realtor experienced it with the loan agent too. The agent was dismissive to her and the overall experience was so bad that the realtor was apologetic for suggesting them and said she won't recommend them to future clients. My realtor even referenced texts from the loan agent that were so nonsensical that my realtor said "is she drunk" which, again, made us feel like we weren't worth the time to even type a text message legibly. But I don't think it was just my loan agent who was problematic as I also got emails not intended for me from other employees at MIG with potentially sensitive info about someone else's loan being suspended. And the lack of data sensitivity tracks because I also just got a letter saying they had an "electronic data incident" so info like our social security numbers may be compromised. I truly love our house and hope to live here forever, but I truly can't say it was worth dealing with MIG. But hey, I guess we learned to always get multiple quotes which has served us well as homeowners. And I personally learned being a doormat to be polite doesn't do me any favors in the long run. Wish I'd stood up to the treatment and walked away from MIG.

They assessed my situation and tell me exactly what I need to prepare so I don't have to waste my time! I would like to recognize Rob with his swift responses to phone calls and emails!
