The Local Peach was a perfect Sunday treat, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this spot. Even though they don't take RSVPs, I was still able to snag a seat and enjoy the patio -- such a cozy vibe. The food here is incredibly fresh and delicious. I ordered the apple cinnamon French toast with eggs and turkey bacon, and the portion was generous for the price. The Arnold Palmer was made with homemade lemonade, which made all the difference. I also tried the blueberry ginger scone with a cup of coffee, and it was the perfect sweet finish. A friend told me about The Local Peach recently, and I finally got around to trying it. To say I have been missing out is an UNDERSTATEMENT. This place was so good. The food was amazing and the coffee was tasty. I managed to arrive right before the rush of guests. This place serves breakfast to the public only on the weekends, and it can get overwhelmingly busy. However, that didn't take away from the staff giving their all and ensuring each guest was taken care of. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating with the outdoor section allowing for your fur babies to join on your breakfast trip. The price paid for the food and drink options were great. This is the cutest little spot! I'm not familiar with the area, but seem like a hole in the wall but has the warmest employees. There is indoor and outdoor seating, however we opted for indoor since it was July and 90 degrees. Gotta love Georgia in the summertime. You order at the counter. Be patient, it's a small staff/kitchen the sign says (something of the sort). I think we waited maybe 15-20 minutes for our food. The inside was a touch warm, but like I said, it was blazing hot outside. I'm sure in the winter it is so cozy there! We had an assortment of dishes (sorry I forgot to take photos) but the biscuits have almost a sweet taste to them. Everything we got was good. My only constructive feedback is I wish they had a few more kid-friendly items on the menu, and maybe some colder water (the water station water was warm). read more

I really liked coming to this restaurant until today. My husband and I ordered 2 pieces of quiche, 2 fruit cups and 2 iced teas. When they brought us our food I said we're missing one fruit cup and so the server said I only see one on your bill and came out with another fruit cup and the credit card machine so we could pay $5.00 for it. I told her to take it back. Our bill was already $37.00 for very little food and it was their mistake. They also got mad at my husband for getting a paper coffee cup for my tea instead of a plastic cup. We won't be going back if they're going to be that petty. We found out about the Local Peach from our neighborhood FB group & we couldn't wait to check it out. The shop is really cute. My husband & I went for breakfast. We were greeted by the two owners Bri & chef Nona, who were both so inviting & very friendly. The breakfast was filling and delicious, esp the biscuits which were so warm & fluffy. It rained the morning we went to the shop but Bri had brought in a small table with 2 chairs for a couple who was there before us so my husband and I ate inside at the table as well. It was such a cute morning atmosphere for breakfast. The shop also sells frozen dinners so we bought 4 servings of their lemon chicken with vegetables dinner to cook this week. Majority of the shops vendors are female minorities which is awesome! We will definitely be back :). read more

I reached out to them for catering my Christmas party. They led me to believe that they would be able to help. One December 4th they told me they had my date available, and we started discussing menu. On December 10th I followed up and laid out my menu requests. I received an email within hours telling me that they had a meeting with the head chef to make sure they could fulfill my request since "lots of small bites" are difficult, but they had a new person in the kitchen and they she would let me know that evening, the 10th. On the 15th I followed up and was told that they only meet on Monday/Tuesday and that after discussing with the chef and team they did have the capacity to cater my event. My party was on the 20th, so 5 days before my party, and with all the follow-up coming from me, I was informed that they were unable to cater. I emailed them to let them know of my frustration. Given this treatment I would not recommend them and/or advise that you go into the conversations understanding their limitations and be prepared to carry the load of signing a contract. read more

Upon entry I didn't know what to expect, but was so pleasantly surprised. Was greeted by Bri and she explained everything about the place. Food is made with local ingredients, as they work with locals to source the foods. Then we started talking about the area and such, such a cool vibe! They also offer premade food to go and warm up, as a lot of us get busy and don't have the time to cook, so brilliant! I decided to order the Southwest Chicken wrap, which was amazing, had some corn, cheese, bacon, oh so good! Got the hummus plate as well, we devoured it with the pita bread it came with. Lastly, the Mexican corn salad, that is a winner as well. So, we everything is delicious, and we need to run that place back soon!!
