I liked that the seats aren't in one single long row like typical theatres but are broken up into smaller sections (no more interruptions when other people need to scoot by to use the restroom/leave. The pre-movie ads are actually pleasant and they don't delay the start time of the movie. The theatre has cute lights in the shape of flowers on the ceiling and I believe there are vintage movie posters on the back wall. The facilities seemed clean from what I saw. They don't show the latest releases but do have some recognizable movies (ex: they're showing 80s movies on Tuesdays right now and will be showing Whiplash later this year I think). The Confucius Institute at U of I also screens Chinese movies here sometimes. I only paid $6 for my ticket...very reasonably priced! The audio was a bit too loud (only noticeable when the soundtrack of the movie came on) but other than that, I had a great experience. I'll definitely be back for more shows. Add them on Facebook for the latest updates! Also, you can rent their marquee space for things like birthday wishes, proposals, etc...such a cute idea!

Should not give the it the right to charge outrageous prices for tickets and snacks. In addition, they charge 12 years and up as adults yet, those same being charged as adults need an actual adult (18 yr old) to accompany them to a R rated film. You would think that with all that profit margin they would at least keep a comfortable temperature in the place. It was cold as hell in our movie. This all re-affirm waiting for it to come on tv. When I was there it only had a few people. Must have got the memo late. It will definitely be another long while before I return. I would rather travel to Pendleton and see something there than spend a small fortune here.

I suppose it's from being spoiled from all of the botanical gardens and arboretums in Western…read moreWashington but I felt like this arboretum fell a bit flat. Presentation at first where you park with a barn and garden plants starts out very promising but levels off to plainess later. The ponds on the loop we walked on have lots of pond scum, granted they could be going for a less manicured look here but the presence of water foul would clean the ponds up naturally which it was devoid of. There are sectors on the loop having plants brought from various parts of the world but nothing seemed very distinctive other than the signs indicating what the species of plant or tree was. I'm sure climate plays a big role in Western Idaho compared to Western Washington so those factors need to be considered if you are looking for an arboretum of a more dramatic type.

There are two ways to access the Arb - you can park by the U of I golf course for the north entrance or by the barn on Palouse River Drive on the southern end. Dogs are not allowed on the grounds.

Wadleigh is a small theatre that I estimate to seat about 150 (but don't quote me on that!). Most of the shows I've seen in Wadleigh have been the WSU Nuthouse Improv Comedy shows. The layout allows for an interactive, intimate show. The Jones Theatre has more of a stage-audience distinction. This one seats about 400 comfortably. What's nice is that the aisles are wide enough that you aren't mugging the person you are attempting to pass. The shows I've seen in this theatre are more plays and music concerts. I actually recently saw Baxter Black there. A cowboy poet with humor who led a very conversational and congenial performance! Daggy's a neat building though. In the afternoons you can often hear the STAGE people messing around and it's pretty fun to listen to!
