"The Live Rhythm" band should rename itself to "The JACKA$$ Band" because they truly did make a jacka$$ out of themselves. I've attended a wedding over the previous weekend where "The Live Rhythm" was performing. During the intro, the MC messed up the introduction not once, not twice nor 3 times. They messed up at least 4-5 times. The MC introduced the groom's mother as the bride's mother and then visa versa. Then the MC introduced the groom's mother being the mother of the bride's mother and then tried to fix it and ended up screwing up more. The MC then sent the flower girl, ring boy and the mothers of the bride/groom back out to the door so that the MC can redo the introduction to make the wedding recording look nice and professional. Well guess what? They screwed up AGAIN because they were suppose to announce the flower girl and ring boy first so that those two kids can toss up the rose petals before announcing the mother of the bride/groom but they didn't...they did the opposite. You should see the expression of the guests and the whispering of how unprofessional the MC was. My husband and I have attended many weddings since our families are very large and we have lots of friends. I have to say that this band is the worse band of all time because not only did they screw up someone's wedding but they also played lots of lousy songs (only 4-5 songs were good or decent) and they did NOT engage the guests. The only entertainment where they engaged the guests was with the musical chair and the throwing of the bouquet....that was it. I am not joking nor making this up. As we all know, the responsibility of the band at many Asian weddings is to provide entertainment and engage the guests to make the wedding more special and fun. Unfortunately, this is not the case. As a guest, I am taking my time out to write this review because I feel that it is unfair that the bride/groom had to experience this on their special day. No bride/groom should ever have to go through this.
To "The Live Rhythm" band: If you are a professional and ethical band, you should write an apology letter to the bride and groom. EVERYONE at the wedding obviously witnessed the incident and many didn't feel you provided great entertainment. As a band, you can perform at many weddings BUT the wedding will only happen once in many people's life time. Therefore, when you accept the job and take the money, then you must deliver to make the wedding as special as the wedding couple that hired you. In this case, you did NOT fully deliver and I am sure many guests at the wedding will agree and will likely have it on their video recording. Personally, if that was my wedding that you messed up, HECK NO WILL I PAY YOU in full. You would have only received half the amount and I would have taken further action. read more
