Perhaps a more welcoming and friendly "Hi! Are you here for the 12pm class? Let me check you in" would be more suitable. Additionally, instead of sitting in your chairs during class on your phones (yes, class participants do see you back there) try to be more a tune to the class needs. For example, 30 minutes into an hour long class today, the room was getting quite stuffy. Obviously the instructor is preoccupied, so maybe the staff member doing nothing should take some initiative and turn a fan on for the class. One to One is good for a person who is into casual all around fitness. Not for someone who's more dedicated to one muscle area and looking for a personal trainer. Parking available in a nearby garage. One to One will validate parking as long as you remember to ask the employees before leaving.

There are no ways to alert customers to the status of the pool aside from just calling. Due to this issue, I called repeatedly to request a refund for a month of my membership since this was the only reason I became a member. I've gotten the run around: my number has been left for people to call me back twice only to have no one call. I finally went into the branch today to make the request. When they were unable to issue a refund for my lost month, I requested to cancel my membership - only to be told that I'm unable to cancel my membership unless the Operations Manager is there. And guess what? The Operations Manager only works M-F 9-5. How convenient that the only person who can cancel a membership is only available during hours most Americans are working. I don't believe for one second that they are unable to cancel my membership: they are trying any way they can to make it so hard to cancel the membership that people don't.

They provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and hair dryers. There's always plenty of parking. Youth lessons I…read moresigned my kids up for a round of youth lessons. You meet once a week for about 8 weeks. The classes are capped so the kids get a lot of one on one attention. The first lesson they reached them safety in rock climbing and each week they build on their skills. Lessons include - instructor, shoe rental, harness and a chalk bag. After the lessons the kids get to climb and show off that they learned to their parents. Highly recommend!

We brought our own climbing equipment, and the check in process was easy. As is standard for first time climbing gym entries, we completed our waivers, purchased day passes, received a tour of the facilities (gorgeous), and completed certification tests for top top and lead. Staff was knowledgeable, supportive, and made it all a breeze while also making me feel like they are importantly attentive to everyone's safety. Gold stars. Environment: As far as size go, they are probably getting right for their rural location, not huge, but big enough to offer a great variety of bouldering, top routes, and lead routes. If I counted right, they have 10 autobelays - 8 of which are on Castle Wall, and two that are on a "kid wall," which doesn't have any set routes, but has a plethora of holds for the littles to confidently work on their moves. Speaking of Castle Wall... I have to say I LOVE the artwork in this place. One of the employees told me that all the gorgeous murals on the wall were done by local artists with glow in the dark paint. Word is that they offer glow in the dark climbing on last Saturday of each month. That's gotta be sweet. Climbing: they rate climbs using the terms Easy, Easy+, Mod-, Mod, Mod+, Hard-, Hard, Hard+. People will have opinions on that; some will like it, some won't. There is a conversion chart posted on one of the front walls, but it's all pretty broad in its generalizations. That said, we stuck to Easy+ through Mod routes today, and I quite enjoyed the setting. Shout out for useful foot chips and fun, creative routes. Other details: the live aquarium in the entryway next to the huge cracker mural are gorgeous. Our kids loved the free arcade game that has all kinds of old school games, including Super Mario Bros, Paperboy, Tetris, etc. The yoga studio on the second floor is gorgeous. Love the floor to ceiling windows that span the room. Must be lovely to do yoga there. The bathrooms are nice and clean! Also: plenty of cubby and lockers are available to stash your things. Looks like you can bring a lock for the lockers if you want to. They have 4-5 round tables in the entry room where people can have snacks. We were there for 6 hours, so we made use of them. There's a great variety of equipment--multiple machines for every muscle group, tons of cable stations, and a full range of dumbbells with plenty of space to use them. Cardio machines are always available, so I never have to wait. For the past six months, I've been working Chuck for personal training, and the experience has been excellent. He's supportive, answers all my questions, tracks my progress, and adjusts my nutrition goals as my body changes. The gym has a solid community--friendly members but also a focused, no-nonsense vibe. Highly recommend if you're serious about your fitness.
