Brought my 13 year old son in for a stomach ache and a cough no fever. Said they could not see him until 6:30 p.m. and it was a ghost town. Then they offered for me to drive to Mt. Really poor communication for my son's diagnosis. Left being told all is well, test is negative. Later in the day received a lab report via text stating he had an infection. Called three times the next day to get an explanation with no response. I then went to the clinic where no patients were being seen and two employees socializing. Apparently, my three calls were not important. Next day call from Management told me the report was negative, they only list the diagnosis of the infection so the insurance company will cover the test. That doesn't seem right. read more

I have always sang the praises for the Anderson Kroger Little Clinic until today. I made an appointment for my finger which I had cut on a butcher knife Christmas day for 2:40 pm today. The roads were bad and the parking lot was packed so by the time that I got in line I was 7 minutes late. There were 2 customers ahead of me who were filling out required paperwork. I waited in line between 12 and 15 minutes. When it was my turn I gave her my name and told her that I had an appointment. She said that she had cancelled my appointment because I was late. I told her that part of that time i was in line. She argued with me stating that she new exactly what time I got in line. I told her that I had cut my finger badly and could they please make an exception. First she said no until I told her that I will be making a review online. She said that she would ask "her". The nurse practitioner came over and said that they could not make an exception. I asked her why the receptionist didn't tell me before I stood in line all of that time. She said that she was probably waiting on other customers. I asked why she couldn't have told me when they were busy filling out paperwork. She then told me again that she would not make an exception and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I told her not at that location. I told her that I always liked coming there before today. She just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. They really do not know how to treat valued customers at this Little Clinic. To them you are just a person with a time slot. I ran into 2 people that I know before i left and both of them said the same thing, "They couldn't make an exception with the weather the way that it is"? read more

Twice, in the past month, a member of my family has gone to the Little Clinic in Anderson. The first, whom ever was at the registration desk told us they did not do physicals. On their list of services, it states that they do physicals. Went down the street to Urgent Care and they did the physical. The second, the person at the registration desk "diagnosed me" and told me they could not see me for the reason I was there. I did not even finish registering and never saw a doctor. I then went down the street to Urgent Care and it turned out to be a minor issue; a swollen lymph node. Something I think they would have been able to handle at their location. I am not sure who the person is at the registration desk or what their qualifications are, I am mystified as to why they turned us away. When we were at the location, they were not busy. No one else was "in line" to see the doctor. I think I will take my business elsewhere in the future. read more

Had to come here twice in one week, once for a work physical and once because I was feeling a little under the weather. My first visit was rather painless, quick and easy peasy. I arrived early, was the first patient on that Sunday morning, and was on my way out in no time with minimal test. My second visit wasn't so easy. I came after work one evening and ended up having to wait about 1.5 hours/ 2 hours to be seen. Luckily I ended up seeing the same doctor I had seen a few days earlier (who at that time wondered aloud to me if I wasn't getting sick). She was great in helping me manage my ear infection/ allergy issues and helped me come up with a good plan while keeping my concerns in mind. She was great! Overall, the one thing I think is important to remember when it comes to this Little Clinic and store in general is that this place can get crazy busy...Little Clinic, Pharmacy, Grocery...it all gets nuts at times. Keep that in mind when deciding when is the best time to head here. read more

We recently moved to the area...(ok, it was 7 mos. ago, but who has time to find a doctor!)...anyway, I have really gotten great service at The Little Clinic. They're professional and thorough- you don't feel like 'a number' the way you do at a lot of quick clinics. The doc has remembered myself and my kids when we've gone back. They're patient and I've never waited too long- even when there was a line. On another note: I watched the lady at the front desk handle a less than patient/kind older gentleman trying to figure out whether he needed to get his flu shot at the clinic or the pharmacy depending on his insurance...he wanted her to know what HE should have known himself...but she handled it well and got him taken care of. (He was hateful with his wife too- so it was definitely HIS issue.) You can tell a lot about a place based on how the 'front desk' behaves. I'll keep going back. read more

Decided to change their hours without changing their website. Show up and wait in line for 5 minutes. Get to the front. Girl at the desk clearly doesn't want to be bothered. Doesn't ask me any questions just stares at me. Finally after I decided to tell her what I needed to be seen for she says she guesses they can see me and tells me to register and it's exactly closing time and the system tells me they're closed. Rather than apologizing and telling me the hours for tomorrow she tells me she can't do anything about it. Always thought good customer service was an expectation and someone who works in healthcare should have bedside manner but evidently not. Had to go to the er instead. Will never go to another little clinic. read more

Get there at 2:20 For a 2;30 appointment. The only nurse/doctor tells me she is leaving in a minute for a 45 minute Break. Back in my day at work, when you were busy, you skipped lunch. Not anymore. Totally inappropriate and inconsiderate care of the sick. read more
