Had 5 quotes and they came out on top with larger pool with more and better equipment. Other 4 companies wanted to give less/do less for cost and they did not give a good walkthrough of project. David was outstanding in presentation with sample, photos of previous pool installations and we felt more relaxed and comfortable with quality of work we would receive. The quality of work completed at end of job is immensely appreciated and we are very happy we choose Kirkbride for our life changing home project. I have to say to the Kirkbride team thanks for your help, you did an awesome job and grateful for your work and kindness. Big reach out to Parker, you did selfless act on last day of project of helping a handicap neighbor out of wheel chair and into minivan. That act of kindness speaks volumes about the character of the Kirkbride team.

We shouldn't have to shovel what you have piled up in front of our driveways. I dug myself out on Sunday just to dig myself back in when I came home because of the poor job that you do. If this is not the company that does not plow one strip down the middle of the road sorry for the review but if it is you should take pride in the service that you give.

This year being the worst. I returned from vacation to find 3 weeks of growth to lawn and cleanup of back yard not done - no response from service I had paid! I immediately contacted Nessley's Lawn Care based on reviews and pics, explained my huge issue, within moments was calmed, then within a few hours they arrived to give me extremely reasonable estimate. They arrived the very next day and did an outstanding job! Then to top it off, they added an amazing estimate for my back yard clean up (the weeds had taken over!) Very professional and a huge relief after very bad experiences. Thank you!

BEWARE! Do not pay Jason Shook until the work is completed…read more Last fall I hired him to do some brush removal, stump grinding and to trim a large pine tree. He completed everything except the tree trim and asked for full payment (which included the tree). He told me he would come back to trim the pine tree. Shortly after I paid him he got in an accident and broke his leg. He said he would come back to trim the tree after recovering. I was fine with that. I figured it would be awhile before he could do it. I contacted him early last month and he said he would come out to trim the tree that weekend or the following week and would let me know. I never heard back from him and now he is not responding to my calls or texts. Lesson learned, unfortunately! Don't pay until job is complete.

Fraudulent business practice. After visiting our property and hearing our wishes, Joshua Cross…read morepitched us a sale for contracting work in March 2024. Quoted for a total of $12,934.50. We have paid Mr. Cross $8,867.25. Since entering this contract, JC Stone Landscaping has had subpar performance that has led to numerous problems: 1. Poor Quality of Work: They partially installed a French drain system incorrectly. The pipes were barely buried, leaving fabric exposed, and part of the drain was above ground. During a storm, water did not drain properly, causing flooding on our property and water entering the house. The flower beds were uneven, with one side 6+ inches higher than the other. Landscaping fabric was visible due to a thin layer of mulch spread. No plants were ever planted. When we expressed concerns, they came by and dug up my property and never returned. My yard was left in a dangerous state of disrepair. 2. Lack of Responsiveness: When we contacted Joshua Cross about the issues, he dismissed our concerns, defended his workers' mistakes, blamed our property, and became defensive. He always had countless of excuses on not showing up and after many missed appointments over the course of six months, he began ignoring our requests for updates completely. 3. Suspicious Business Practices: After researching Joshua Cross and his business, I found multiple complaints online, including accusations of fraud and poor service. His website claims 20 years of experience and satisfaction guarantees, but his Google reviews include multiple reports of customers who paid him and then were ignored. I also found MANY lawsuits (civil and small claims) in MULTIPLE counties for similar issues--customers paying upfront and him not completing the work. I have found others through Facebook who have also been scammed by him and forwarded them to my attorney. I've had to fix and do the jobs I paid him thousands to handle. Money that could have been spent on completing my house or hiring someone else. The physical, mental, and financial anguish this business has caused is unacceptable, and I hope this review can help prevent others in the future to experience what myself and countless others thus far have experienced from this business.
