We then went to our car and grabbed our bags, and we pull up to the tee box before our tee time, at 1:14. We get there and the ranger is screaming at us saying that we are way late and that the whole course is now backed up, while swearing the whole time. He kept yelling at us as we tried to hustle, and he even made us skip the first hole while we still payed for the full 9 holes. Keep in mind that we were at the tee box ready to go, BEFORE OUR TEE TIME. Once we passed the first hole, there were already at least 2-3 groups waiting at the tee box for hole 3, and two other groups already on hole 2, so the hole course was backed up already. Then, about halfway through the round, I got yelled at and heckled by the group behind us for "playing too slow" when there were literally groups in front of us. If anything we were almost hitting into the group in front of us, but I guess that doesn't matter to whoever was behind us. My experience was terrible and I will never be coming back again.

If you book online, you can usually get a better deal than if you call the pro shop. I will continue to frequent this golf course at the rates they currently have. The only negative is they probably have more tee times than they should. On the weekend the time of play can get a little high.

This is a really great golf course. It is difficult though. There is a lot of water and a lot of…read moresand. However if you make the fairway you are pretty much guaranteed a flat lie, which is nice. The condition of the course is top notch. The fairways are very well maintained and the rough is really easy to hit out of. Even when I missed the fairway my lie wasn't that bad. Except, of course, when I went in to the creek behind #14 green. The clubhouse is pretty nice too. There is a nice small bar downstairs and a larger one upstairs. I'm assuming the upstairs bar is mostly open for events and outings. The driving range is really nice too. There are practice target flags at various distances to help you practice from any distance. I would play here any time.

Took the pups here to go paddle boarding…read more Arrived around 8am so still fairly early, it was a little confusing where to park for the beach. The beach parking is the same as the boat launch parking (large lot) there is then a path that will take you down to the beach about .25 mile walk. Not horrible but good to note! We asked the park staff and were informed if the pups are swimming they can be off leash on the sand to go in and out of the water but otherwise their leashes need to be on (which was no problem) Bathrooms located near the water and up by the parking nice and clean. Really only downfall was the labeling of parking for the beach and then access to get there, we only figured it out after driving in circles and finding a park staff member. However now we know! Also there is not an easy way to get into the water (walk in style) with a paddle board, since they only have docks to drop down from so a little challenging with the pups, but otherwise it might be easier if you are going with a kayak. They do also have kayak rentals located in the boat launch area. Will definitely return

I attended a wonderful wedding last night at the only barn wedding facility in the state. Women…read morewore dresses, skirts and pant outfits. Men wore suits, business casual and jeans. The barn was nice and clean. They have beautiful bathrooms. The wedding ceremony was at 500pm in front of the oldest hickory tree in the county. They set up 200 chairs with an aisle down the middle for the wedding party to enter. The property has a nice area to take pictures and enjoy and outdoor pre-reception. Our reception was inside the barn we ate comfortably and heard bride and groom stories, prayer, a charge from the father of the bride. Dinner was catered by Thunder Bay Grill. The wedding party DJ played nice taped music during the dinner. Dessert was a cheesecake. At the end of the reception we launched balloons with lights in them sending off in the air on a new adventure, just like the bride and groom. A beautiful night. I highly recommend this facility.

What a beautiful setting in the rolling hills of Waukesha…read more Saturday night I attended and put on a Casino Night by Dynamismo for the Waukesha West Booster Club. This was a great fundraiser and adult night out with some of the finest of Waukesha. The sit down dinner was very well orchestrated for about 200 people! The location superb, the service at dinner was excellent however the bar and after casino food service closed too early for many people, therefore it disappointed a few. I am attaching a few photos from the rooms we utilized. I was busy handling the casino therefore did not get as many pictures as I had hoped for. Enjoy!
