She made the adaptation so easy for my Boys, because coming from a different country with a different language can be overwhelmed for kids and getting my kids enrolled on TLE and having her taking care of everything and the teachers made a huge huge difference in my Kids day to day, it made our life easy and having her always there to help and to answer my questions and addressing our concerns, made us have the certainty that my kids are being taken care of!!! We had an appointment to visit the facility in Hoboken, NJ. Both my wife and I had to take time off work in order to be able to visit on a Friday at 2 pm especially that we live and work in Manhattan. We received an email confirming the date and time of the tour. When we got there, they didn't know about us coming for the visit. We waited for 20 min for someone to attend us. We ended up leaving, and no one even paid attention! If you can't attend to people, don't make them come all the way. Also, at least show some respect by acknowledging the visitors when they show up! Review Update: the owner or manager called and apologized. She admitted the team dropped the ball and asked if and how they could make up for it. Although we decided to move on with a different provider, we really appreciate the call. read more

My daughter has been at the Learning Experience since she was 8 months old. She's 3.5 years old now. My experience has been fantastic! We joined TLE when it was only a month old itself. The teachers, the administration and the facility have all been 5-star in my opinion. My daughter loves going to school. She learns A LOT! She has wonderful friends. Most importantly, she is safe and happy and I never have to worry about her there. They learn their letters, numbers, shapes, how to be a good friend, stay healthy and share with others. Make Believe Boulevard, the gated playground and an in-house chef make it super convenient and fun for all of us. We've been through every class from infant to preschool. Our two sons attended TLE from just a few months old through ages 5 and 2.5 until we moved out of Hoboken. We were exceptionally happy with the care and education they received and would recommend TLE without hesitation. The center is clean, safe, fun and loving. The boys enjoyed great food, made great friends and learned so much from many wonderful teachers. Although staff turnover is a little high, it is our understanding that is fairly common in the childcare world. We will our TLE family very much in our new home and wish them the best! read more

I am not the type to leave a review but i figured i must say something before people make the same mistake i made. When TLE came to town i was excited , my son who i now regret taking him out of the preschool across the street had a horrible experience. The school is in a beautiful building called the Vine but thats the problem. People in hoboken are being tricked by the building. This preschool has many issues. My son was in a classroom where even one of the staff members Celeste told me privately at the coffee shop across the street (black rail) that my son at times would be left alone without any supervision because they would be short on staff and they were experiencing high turnover (obviously come to find out recently Celeste is no longer there). Normally i wouldn't pay to much mind to staff members but when i personally picked up my son one evening, i also saw only 1 staff member by herself with over 10 young toddlers, the director at the time told me the staff member step out shortly for an unforseen circumstance and would be back in 5 minutes. Still not ok. Come to find out weeks later from another parent that the staff member that step out actually never existed because she picked up her son at 11am for an early dr app that same day and the classroom only had 1 staff member as well. Keep in mind that TLE is a franchise so all Tle are owned by different individuals, Lynn the owner has another Tle almost 50 miles away, which means she can't possibly be able to manage both adequately or have the luxury to use the staff from the other center if there happen to be short. Putting all of our children in danger! I am very disgusted on how they put all those children in harms way and are out of ratio. Finally few small things i was never a fan of, was the meals were not fresh and are small portions and also i do not love the fact that at least in the other school my son attended previously, the owners were always around and staff made everyone feel like family. I pulled him out simply because i saw a TLE and a nice building. Also assumed that park was privately theres. But come to find out, it is not there private playground. It belongs to all the schools in the neighborhood. This school hides behind the beautiful building and the public park that doesn't even belong to them but the city but for the price they charge with all there up charges. There are way better options in the neighborhood. Tle is like the Olive Garden of preschools while The school down block is like an authentic Italian Restaurant the type you would find in Little Italy! That is the best way i can describe the experience you will feel when you are at TLE. Well i pulled out my child after i compared the value in the neighborhood. Happy to say i saved money and now found a better school with better personal. Stay away check out the other schools , do not be part of the Hoboken cattle other cities make fun of. Do your research and tour other schools. Do not take just take your neighbors word. read more

The staff all love and take care of him while both his dad and myself are at work. We love the friends he has met and how excited he gets for all the numerous activities TLE has for the children. New facility and great staff! We took our son here before we moved out of the area. He was well-cared for and VERY happy with all of the wonderful people he interacted with during the day. The security system was very good, the facility was always clean, and the staff took a genuine interest in our child's welfare. During the day, we get regular updates on his activities via their app. This includes the basics (potty and feeding) as well as sensory activities, moods, and other activities. Often the pictures we receive in the app are awesome, and we share them with family. Ask about their policies and extended hours, as well as their discounts for certain companies and employers. Special recognition to Miss Kamesha, Miss Angie, Miss Vanessa, Miss Yusely and all of the staff! They were wonderful. Location also happens to be adjacent to both the light rail and the shop-rite. Finding child care was one of the toughest things to do as a new parent. I recently moved to the area and met with a few daycares close by and TLE blew them all out of the water. My daughter started at 4 months, she's now 9 1/2 months. Still happy, still impressed. Here are a few things that stand out: 1 - the staff is super friendly, professional and the teachers that have watched over my daughter have been loving and caring (Angie has been absolutely wonderful). 2 - place is super clean! 3 - open door policy, you can come and go as you please or sit in the office and watch from cameras. 4 - very organized. 5 - stimulation and interaction with other kids, this ones a big one if you're trying to decide between a nanny or daycare. As a new Mom I needed all the help I could get with the developmental stages and socialization. 6 - they have an app! You download and get updates every time your child eats, drinks, gets a diaper change, naps, pictures are sent. This was especially helpful when we first started out, I had a visual and I was able to "check in" on her without having to check in :) I highly recommend TLE Hoboken, saved me from a lot of stressed and anxiety and made the transition from maternity leave to a full time work schedule a breeze. read more

We started at TLE during the pandemic and the staff and facility have been wonderful. Health and safety protocols are being followed, the communication has been great, and most of all our little one is thriving! Great space, curriculum, and staff. I have a 3 year old son who was with a different daycare for nearly 2 years. We loved our last daycare but it was just that, a daycare. While there was anxiety with uplifting him from what he knew, my wife and I wanted a place with more structure and prepare him for Pre-K. We came across TLE Hoboken and were immediately impressed by the curriculum, facilities, and staff. Over the last couple of months, our son has shown a greater enthusiasm for learning and he continues to surprise us with what he takes away from school. The space includes separate classrooms for each age group, a private outdoor playground, an indoor play area for the rainy days, and an onsite cook for meals/snacks throughout the day. We sent our daughter to TLE at 4 months. We entered with anxiety of leaving her and heading back to work, but the teachers were so empathetic and calming and helped us smoothly transition our daughter. She's now 16 months old and LOVES her teachers, classmates and school schedule and setting. It's clear in the photos I see every day that she's having fun and it's shocking to me how much she has developed. Any time you transition the care of your child, there will be growing pains, but at TLE, they are very receptive and encouraging of open and honest communication and I fully trust that my daughter is in good hands every day. read more

We started with TLE when they first opened and were still building their staff and rhythm. I chose the program for aftercare for a pre-schooler. I loved the new facility and their location. I'm glad that a year old we have grown to love them. They listen to parents, address any concerns quickly, have few turnover with teachers, and most importantly, the kids are happy. Excellent daycare. My son has been going there since he is 3-months old and he loves it. They do a lot of activities (music, yoga...) and take well care of the babies. Only downside is for nap time (until they get to the toddler room): the beds are in the middle of the classrooms so if your infant is a light sleeper he will not nap as much as he should. read more

I recently enrolled my infant in this school and after a few days decides to switch back to my old daycare. The school is in a nice building but the staff seems young and inexperienced. I realized that they have low enrollment due to high turnover of the staff. My child recieved someone else's breast milk and her response was that " she didn't know because she just started". Also when i toured the school with the owner she assured me of a 1:4 ratio with the infants i have walked in at times where it has been a 1:6 ratio and they would tell me that someone was using the bathroom. Pure B.S. They will sell you on the magic Boulevard and the playground that belongs to the county not them but the truth is that This TLE is like McDonald of the neighborhood so impersonal and not unique at all. With so many options within a 3 block radius I can seriously tell everyone to tour other schools in the neighborhood. I'm sure they offer the same if not better quality service with a more experienced staff. I know because I've experienced the difference. Stay Away from this awful preschool that charges higher than the other schools in the neighborhood! read more

I put my son in TLE a few months ago and pulled him after 2 weeks. The director and assistant director were great, but I was unaware that the cameras they have in the building were only live streaming and not recording. Being a first time parent, I've already have paranoia about leaving my child in another person's hands, but I would feel better knowing if something were to ever happen I can go back on the camera's to see. With that said, I went early one day to talk to the director regarding this, and while she was in the back I decided to watch the live feed while in her office because my son was still eating lunch. I witnessed one of the teachers aggressively speaking to the kids while feeding them hot food, aggressively speaking to the kids that wouldn't eat the food, and kept complaining on how she couldn't take it anymore. The age range was 12-18 months and as we're all aware is an age where they can't express themselves and being patient is the best thing you can do to get through the day. She obviously was not cut out for this job. So as I'm watching this unravel, I pull the director in the office to show her what was going on and she seemed as shocked as I was so I went and got my son and told her to give me a call later to talk about what happened. She calls me a little later and informs me that there were some issues in the class room that was unaware was happening and that she was going to coach this particular teacher and put her in another classroom. SO below I've listed why I would not take my son back here and what you may be cautious about as well. 1. Had I not been there that day watching this happen, how long would this have gone on and at what point would this teacher have snapped and possibly put her hands on the students. 2. Had she put her hands on the students, where is the evidence had he come home with a bruise if they don't have recording video. 3. The reason I put my kid in a daycare is to not have to come and sit and watch him and his every move. so if this is the only way i know he's safe or if a situation was to happen and know what is going on then it defeats the purpose of putting him in daycare. I understand the director has other things to do and can't watch the live feed all day, but I as a parent also can't take off of work to watch my kid either, so who's monitoring what happens in the classroom. 4. What do you have to hide if you don't have your video's recording. They say it's against the law, but I've been to a few other daycare's that actually let you watch the children live on your phone and they have the feed recording for 30-60 days back. Those are the one's I trust because they obviously have nothing to hide. 5. The fact that they only put her in another classroom and didn't fire her is mind boggling in itself. She was obviously not cut out for this job, and she's a liability to the organization. I don't trust that they follow a specific protocol on incidences that may happen with their teachers. 6. Also, when I went in that morning the front door was ajar, and had someone walk in and taken my child there were no camera's recording to show who would have come in there. 7. My husband went in a few days later to pick up the rest of my son's belongings and this is after we told them we were pulling him from the school, and the key fab still worked on the doors. This just shows they're safety isn't as up to par as they make it out to be. Initially I loved this school and I am not the one to write reviews. This is also a long time that I've been going back and forth on if I should, but these are things I would like to know as a parent going into trusting someone else with my child. I have nothing bad to say about the directors or most of the staff, it's just upsetting how they handled this particular incident and just thought it was important that other parents are aware. read more

TLE in Hoboken is a wonderful place!! The owner LynnAnn is so sweet and welcoming, the management calls me whenever there is a hint of something I should be aware of which puts my mind at ease. The facility is new, clean and spacious. It truly is a wonderful place and I'm so happy to have found it. We switched from another local day care which I had a bad experience at, especially with management. TLE is a breath of fresh air and truly a place where I feel comfortable leaving my son all day. He started at 6 months and he loves the teachers and he is learning and growing! Keep up the great work!! read more

I'm the mother that toured every daycare in Hoboken. When I walked into TLE I cried with relief. From the second I walked in I knew my 5 month old was going to be in great hands. Lynn Ann the owner is a mom herself and just gets it. She treats everyone like family and not like customers. Her staff is amazing and everyone really seems to enjoy working there. My sons teacher has quickly become one of his favorite people. He lights up every morning at drop off. We get updates all day long and they are very accommodating to our wants and needs (and I have a lot). I love the location and the fact that they have their own playground. The kids get some fresh air right on the grounds. The space is new and clean and well taken care of. They have music class for the kids and great activities for all ages. TLE has been an incredible experience both for my child and myself. As a parent, it has been a great comfort knowing that my daughter is in such great hands. Getting the updates throughout the day is so helpful and reassuring. I can say this with confidence because as a first-time mom, I visited EVERY daycare in Hoboken to see which one would be the best fit for my little one. And what made me choose TLE? First let me tell you about the teachers! In my opinion, Miss Angie and Miss Tamara are probably two of the strongest teachers at the daycare. They are kind, loving and warm. They both treat every child as if they were their own. The management at TLE also goes out of their way to work with the parents to ensure all of your wishes are carried out and you are comfortable leaving your child with them every day. If you have a strict nap or feeding schedule, they stick to it! TLE also offers constant stimulation and structured learning through toys, music, arts and crafts, and interaction with other children in the classrooms. When my child started, they struggled with Tummy Time. Both teachers really focus on TT, even putting him next to other children who had already mastered the skill, and now my little one is a pro! I love the teachers, I love the director, I love the owner and I love the facility. When I go to work I never worry if my little one is in good hands.
