I LOVE, love, love this place! I've watched my little one grow by leaps and bounds at Growing…read morePatch. Her previous "school" was little more than a babysitting facility. The previous school was more worried about meeting funding requirements than the needs of my kid and the staff seemed annoyed by her cause she is headstrong. Growing Patch loves my kid and her quirks. They have curriculum and I feel like they are really preparing her for kindergarten. They take field trips, have community members come in and speak to the classes, they even have some extracurriculars on site. The teachers are professional and actually like kids and what they do. Most importantly they KNOW my kid and meet her where she is. I honestly don't know how they do it all but they do. She has been there for just over a year now and I continue to be impressed by their staff and her growth. I'm going to be so sad when she leaves this place. She absolutely loves it and looks forward to going every day. It's affordable but I'd pay more for my kid to go there!

My family and I had been struggling to find adequate daycare to accommodate early mornings before…read morefinding this facility. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have come across such an amazing place that not only accommodated crazy work hours, but also went above and beyond for our little princess. Helena was shy of two years old when she started attending Stepping Stones. One of the things that stood out for me how she was treated with love since day one, and nurtured in ways that allowed her to grow and develop secure attachments. Although she was saying a few words here and there, it wasn't until she started going there that she began speaking full sentences. We were highly impressed with how quickly she adapted to her environment and thrived with the help and attention of the staff. I am sure this would not have been possibly at home, not even with the encouragement we gave her. Another thing I liked was the student to teacher ratio. Because of the reasonable numbers, our daughter was able to get a lot of individualized attention. Not only was she nurtured, she was also disciplined accordingly when needed. The constant communication we had with staff during times she acted out was reassuring. She was held accountable and it was done so with love and care. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the service rendered. I would also like to add how reasonably priced they are in comparison to other facilities. I have met some of the most wonderful teachers here and would encourage anyone to send their little ones here. The structured classes, amazing teachers and prices make this place a 10 in my book.

When we walk into the school the director greets us every morning and genuinely checks on the children. Once we walk through the main entry, there is a wide open green field and 3 play grounds in sight. It is always a breath of fresh air and every thing I ever dreamed of for my children. I really enjoy that walk to class and every morning we pass through the preschool garden and check on the preschool chickens. The classes are small with two wonderful teachers assigned to each class. These are trauma informed educators that took the time to understand and work with one of my babies that just needed a little bit of compassion and understanding. Any obstacles we have faced have been handled with love and problem solving. Any parent that has experienced the heartbreak of loving a child that just needs grace, will understand how thankful I am to have found Fairmont and all the educators there.

We are so impressed with the IB curriculum. Our son has a lot of energy and requires lots of differentiation and Fairmont has always exceeded our expectations. They are great with communication and the Fairmont campus is just a happy place to be. Every morning our son asks if it is a preschool day and his language abilities have grown so much since enrolling 6 months ago. We can't wait to enroll our toddler too. I would especially like to commend Lydia, Ashlyn, Ms. Sierra and Ms. Harpreet for always going above and beyond for us. Thank you Fairmont, you are always going to hold a special place in our hearts even when our kids have moved on :)

You go through friend referrals and take tours, but every place just felt disorganized, or unstructured or just weird sad vibes. I then went on a visit to Brighten. I've seen the facilities everywhere, and I had a coworker go to a facility near her, but I wanted to check it out myself, and this place is perfect for my little guy! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. And they're consistently friendly and helpful, not just on your first day. When I drop off my son, I always am greeted with happy and cheerful staff. They are also very organized with their day. There is a large playground outside and they play outside at least twice a day. They provide full meals for breakfast and lunch which is included in the tuition. I also love that they provide a daily written check in of how your child did at the daycare. We've been at this facility for almost 3 months and my son loves it. Details: -There are 8 different locations around the area so you're bound to find one nearby -They have half day and full day programs. -They offer nap, half nap, or no naps. Its up to you -They will help potty train your toddler -There is no price difference for potty trained versus diaper toddlers -You have to go at least two days with rates ranging from 2 days at $160.00 for the week to 5 days at $280.00 a week -They have a secure code you have to enter to open their doors. They also have a fingerprint system to check your child in and out. -There are cameras! You can watch your little on your phone or desktop while they play or sleep, or at the playground!

My child did not do well here. I liked that the building was safe. You had to ring a bell to be let…read morein and then go through 2 doors to get to the class. The staff was friendly, especially the ladies at the front desk. Those were two very big positives. They also fed the kids which was nice. However, my child kept getting incident reports, multiple a day. I started to feel really down on myself as a parent. I didn't know what to do because the behavior wasn't the same at home because she's an only child. I got calls to pick up my child, but I was at work. It was hard. I understand safety is important but my child was not even 2 years old yet. She had to be taught and sending her home wasn't teaching her. She never bit a kid. She was rough or ran from teachers in the class and on the play yard. I feel like that's normal behavior for not even being 2 yet. She needed exposure and to be taught the expectations. I don't understand how she could be doing such bad things to be sent home. I finally ended up pulling her because my husband was told she was sitting in the office for an hour crying the whole time. My husband took off work and picked her up and she was sobbing and couldn't stop. He sent me a video and it was awful. Toddlers should not be treated that way. I didn't feel comfortable. That was not appropriate punishment for her age. I teach 5 and 6 year olds and we don't have them sitting and crying for an hour. I never took her back. Safety is important, I know. They said they were following rules, okay. I completely understand them having to follow the rules. It was just not for my child, so we left. She was there about a month. I waited to review because at the time I didn't know if my child was just THAT uncontrollable. No. I feel like she needed to be taught and needed AGE appropriate redirection/consequences. She's at a new daycare now doing great for the past 8 months!
