I checked out every preschool imaginable and there is no other place like The Bella Vita School. The children are cherished and treated like the very special individuals that they are. They get to garden, help make meals, learn Spanish, dance, science and herbs, math, reading, art and music. There is a ton of outdoor time(great back yard space with wonderful play structures, slides etc..) and a low student-to-teacher ratio that is so very important to a healthy learning environment for academics, socialization and emotional growth. The curriculum is very special and beautiful and includes friendship studies, job days, journals, and emotion cards to name a few. The vegan snacks and meals that are provided are delicious and the healthiest you will find anywhere. They offer half day and full day programs, which are very flexible and an AMAZING summer camp as well!! We have loved spending time at the monthly family get-togethers and wonderful school events that are put on by the staff. I think it was a Wednesday and our 5-year old daughter came down stairs in the morning and asked, "do I have to go to school today?" I said, "yes, it's a Wednesday." Expecting her to go, "ooohhh no", she surprisingly said, "Yes! That means I get to hug Ms Marnie!" Honestly, I can't say enough positive things about our experience at Primrose. We first took our daughter, AJ, to preschool when she was 3. She is now 5 and in Kindergarten. She has learned so much and developed into such an amazing little girl. We all don't thank our early childhood teachers enough. AJ constantly comes home and tells us all the things her teachers have taught her. "Dad, I already knew that... Ms Marnie taught me" is a common phrase in our house!

The owner and director know all of the kids by name and are so approachable! The teachers are warm and caring and the kids do all sorts of special activities. The program for both young and kindergarten kids is fun and challenging. My kids are extremely happy about going to school and always have so much to talk about when I pick them up. The teachers are all certified and they are all professional. It is easy to communicate with them as well. The owner and director are superb and treat every kid as their own. The other thing I love is that the older kids have "friday friends" with the younger children. My daughter knows pretty much every kid in the school through this activity, and she loves being a role model to the younger kids. What a fantastic life lesson for her! I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a daycare you can really trust and feel at home with, you can not find a better place in the area.
