Well, after a…read moretrip to this perfect little gift emporium, I might just have proven them right...I was entirely tempted to buy the whole shop. Right from the moment I opened the shop door, and that beautiful sweet scent of some astounding fragrance hit me right up the nose, I knew this was going to be a titillating visit. Filled with mental notes to self, such as, 'Oooh, check out those handmade cards over there, complete with little sequins in the shape of hearts and stars!', and 'Ooooh, they have such pretty napkins', and indeed 'Bags. I don't need a bag. Wait, my sister needs a bag for her formal. Oooh baby'...yes, it was a tumultuous experience for me. In an incredibly good way. Not only does Home have the most exquisite gifts and greetings cards, but it also encompasses the luxury (yet affordable) home decor end of things, with the likes of dining tables / chairs, dressers and cushions available to purchase. And if that's not enough, they offer a wedding list service, a flower arranging service and a gift wrapping service. Arriba! Yes, thank you every much to anything and everything. I love it all.

She really was genuinely lovely, and that really made the trip for me. There's nothing better than decent customer service, and I definitely experienced some top class service that day. I love to go in at Christmas time as my mum has a thing for Christmas decorations and this is the best place in town to get a quality piece at a really good price. They also have a large collection of really nice inexpensive costume jewellery. You can pick up anything in here from a rubber chicken to a ceramic panda. It is definitely the place to go for gifts of any sort. I was bought a poker set from here many moons ago and I still treasure it as although it wasn't really expensive it has the feel of a luxury item.

Although I may be reading way to much into it. Anyway back to the review, after getting a leaflet through the letter box about the Crafty Fox I was intrigued, they call it a "hidden country gem" and that sounds like something I would write so I thought I had better check it out. The building itself is stunning, it used to be a bank but has been refurbished, although it still looks like a bank from the outside, inside has been decorated like a stately manor. Being that It resembles a manor it is certainly up market, selling luxury items. It is certainly charming with each item appearing to be hand crafted. This is not only a gift shop, it also has a Coffee Shop that sells a selection of delicious pastries. After browsing the shop you will feel right at home whilst eating a scone and sipping tea. Don't be fooled by the name...this wee (being the operative word - I'll get to that in a second)…read moregift shop is located right bang in the middle of Dromore town centre. It does have a bit of a country theme to it, and it definitely wouldn't look out of place in the middle of nowhere (Dromore doesn't quite count as nowhere), but it's not quite as country as you may be thinking. No green pastures, or lambs, or that sort of thing. 'Fraid not. I was a tad confused when I entered Country Choice, as, after I was greeted a small boy who attempted to run me over, I realised that there was a door to my left, and a set of stairs leading downwards. It turns out that the gift shop was behind the door, and since I had noticed that there was a tea room at the same address, so I figured that it must be located in the basement. But I couldn't be sure. Anyways, I managed to squeeze into the little gift shop, and was thankful that I happened to be the only customer. With the obligatory Yankee Candles (no melts today for a change), stunning jewellery, retro stationery, cute gift cards and other bits and bobs, it wasn't a whole lot different to many other gift shops I had been to. However, it was so cute (this is why I'm female), rustic and well laid out that I fell in love just a little bit. Hold your breathe, dive in, and you'll never know what you might find...

Located in the middle of a little town called Dromore, it is certain to catch your eye, with it's turquoise exterior and a beautifully displayed shop window. Upon entering the little country-style shop I was immediately greeted by a friendly workforce who would be happy to help you find the perfect gift for someone (or even help you find something for yourself!). Dazzling jewelry, cute little ornaments, and even baby gifts all packed into a room - what more could you want?! Downstairs in the shop there is a wide range of pillows, pictures, and furniture, and still keeping to the country theme of this cute little shop you can always be sure to find something to please your inner country-man/woman dream! Above the shop up a flight of stairs is a delicious little coffee shop called the 'Riverside Tearooms', where yet again the staff are able to multitask by being the friendliest people in Dromore AND by serving the most tasty food ever! Winning lots of awards for it's customer service and unbelievably good food, it's definitely the place to be if your stomach is kicking up a rumble! 'Country Choice Gift Shop' - although small - will leave you thinking about that lamp you saw, or how well that picture frame would go with your room, -you'll be itching to go back! A little gem of a shop with well organized and displayed products. A wonderful workforce and an irresistible urge to come back from the second you walk in!

It stocks such a wide range of, well, everything really, that you'd never be tired looking. It was pretty busy when I went in yesterday, with mainly young girls eyeing up all the beautiful gifts / toys / accessories / jewellery, and their mums keeping a careful watch over them. Amongst the wide variety of stock were gift bags, cards, candles, novelty toys and games, funky clocks, wall-hangings, beaded curtains, bags...and so much more. I discovered the cutest little wooden cat light pull for £3 some odds, and immediately knew I had to buy it. Nothing to do with the fact that it was incredibly sweet and lovely, and everything to do with the fact that my mum had smashed the previous one off the bathroom wall, causing it to break into a thousand pieces. Indeed. Staff were exceptionally pleasant, but kept a business like atmosphere about the place. That sounds like a bad thing, but I guarantee is really wasn't...it was an incredibly well run shop. All I need now is an excuse to go back. Mmmm, when is the next birthday I have to buy for...?

Aaaahhh... On a miserable wet day in Lisburn, as my brother, sister and I dander around Lisburn Square, I just so happen to note the word 'gift' on the Aroma sign. "I'm heading in!" I holler, dashing in. Having thrust each other that knowing look, they follow suit. Aroma is your average gift emporium, only cheaper. It's filled with inexpensive cards and lots of lovely gifts...and a whole wall of Yankee Candles. Me likey. There's a bit of a tradition in our family concerning these gorgeous scented candles. If any of us are near a Yankee Candle selling shop, we pick up a couple and purchase them, just in case (there are currently nine melts in our cupboard...let's be realistic, when does 'just in case' ever happen?) My dad usually buys some of the more dodgy smelling melts for my mum, so I've taken it upon myself to buy the melts, seeing as I'm the one with the better scents, I mean sense of smell. Subjectively speaking of course... Choosing two of the nicer smelling options, I noted the fab price of 99p for each of them (score!) and went happily on my way, siblings in tow. When I got home, my mum was super impressed with my smelling skills. Sorry dad, looks like you've been relegated to the not so scentsational smelling category. Be scentsible and head on round to Aroma for a (cheap) candle or two. Ps. Apologies for the awful jokes. I just couldn't help myself...
