I have a small stackable w/d at my nearby Ortega condo but I find myself returning here a couple of times a month. Cannot beat the extra clean looking and feeling clothes,sheets etcetera... Pro Tip: the business operates on its own user cards that you can purchase via debit or credit so no need to lug around a big bag of coins. Which is nice. I brought my daughter with me and she was loving the little play area in the back. I had a few hours worth of a lot of laundry and it was so easy to get everything done with all the large washing machines and even larger dryers. The washing machines and dryers were very quick and efficient. I spent very little to dry my clothes. I had Apple Pay and Patrick cashed out my Apple with bills so I could use the change machine onsite. He had lots of detergent cups to make holding the coins easier. Then he showed me how to use the washers and the dryers. He also helped me estimate the amount of cash needed to use them. He was a life saver! I highly recommend this laundromat. There was seating with a few tables, a tv, change machine, ability to get cash while using Apple Pay, play area for kids, toy/candy machines that take quarters, lots of baskets with wheels and a two large areas to fold and organize clean clothes. The place was clean, not too crowded and had plenty of seating while waiting for your clothes to be done. I took two large rugs there and they had giant washers/dryers that I was able to use. I started my clothes at 8:52pm. I waited promptly for my close to finish because I saw that the closing time was 10pm and I wanted to make sure I was out before closing. My clothes finished washing 21 mins after start time around 9:13pm. Unfortunately, my clothes didn't get fully dry until 9:55pm so I bagged everything up without folding of course and as I was leaving around 10:05pm, I turned around to thank the laundry clerk guy because he was standing next to me impatiently waiting for me to finish. He didn't say anything at all. I know he heard me because we were the only two people there and he was standing close enough for me to reach out and touch him without moving. He then proceeding to clean the dryer that I had just used and as I was bringing the basket back to the door, he meets me and says, " next time try to leave here before 10pm". As if I can control the time it takes to dry my clothes. However, I didn't make matters any worse, I just said "okay and you don't have to worry about that because I won't be returning". I really didn't mean to take that long but again, I was not in control of the amount of time it took to dry my clothes. Some of my stuff was still not dry but I left anyway. I work late and I needed clean work clothes. If you give someone an hour to wash and dry clothes, then you kind of run the risk of not leaving at 10pm.

I'm temporarily unable to use my home washer and dryer, but had some clothes in need of washing…read more Walked in, spoke with the lady in charge, made clear that I wanted cold wash, using my clear detergent, with no additives in the wash or dryer cycle (allergies and whatnot). Only hiccup was that I didn't realize that it was cash only, so I ended up paying on pickup instead of drop off. I showed up a little before the promised time, and said I'd wait if my clothes weren't ready. But they were, all neatly folded and waiting. I could smell that she had followed my request to use my detergent, and not any of the stuff with perfumes and all. Price seemed reasonable for the mounds of clothes I brought in, and I can honestly say I've never done that neat of a job if folding.

It's very neat and clean and the workers that are here seem very friendly and welcoming. They offer drop off service and the last load drop is at 7:30 pm. While in the morning time it isn't very busy you still may have a few issues getting to a washer as the attendants are also doing their dropped off loads as well. It's not a big place so space is limited. The older washers take approximately 30-40 minutes while the newer ones, depending on which options you select, are set at a minimum 20 minutes. So far the laundry trip wasn't too bad and I wouldn't mind coming here more often. I'm sure the best idea is to get here right at 7 when they open that way you won't have to watch or wrestle with availability and you'd get out way sooner.
