I originally stumbled across Perlas on groupon and decided to book with them because of their great reviews on there. Surprisingly, their reviews on my holy grail Yelp were not impressive. My appointment was at 230 pm, I was greeted by the receptionist who was very kind and informed me that the person who would be doing my lashes was finishing up another client. The business itself is clean, other clients were there getting other services done so it was not very quiet. About 15 minutes later " Isa" came out and escorted me to the treatment room. She was very kind and informative and I felt comfortable being there which is very important to me, we talked and there definitely were no awkward silences. She also took her time and I never felt like she was in any way rushing me out which I have experienced before when visiting other places with a groupon. They offer other services there which I'm sure I'll be trying in the future and I will most definitely be back to see Isa for more fabulous lash extensions.

There is plenty of parking with two entrances. I was seen after a 5-minute wait. My tech didn't seem to understand everything I said, which was a little frustrating. However he was very thorough. His energy was very attentive- spa vibes. The salon is esthetically pleasing. Everything new, modern, and clean. I love my fill-in.

I received a pedicure (with the added foot scrub treatment) from "Emily". She said she had "twenty…read moreyears" experience. She injured my toe. While she was attempting to clip the edge of the nail of my left big toe, I said "ouch" several times. On her third time at my toe, she ended up cutting too much and my toe started bleeding. She applied pressure with a tissue to stop the bleeding, and applied what I presume was an antiseptic. My toe is sore (but feeling better); but I can't wear high heels right now. Luckily there are no signs of an infection. I am loathe to post a negative review, because I want to be able to support local businesses. However, this visit to the Nails Bar traumatized me.
