The doors open at 9 and I suggest pre-booking before hand and and showing up for 9 To get the most of your day. this is a beautiful building inside and won't fail to impress. Grab your seat and get started. the building hosts its own cafe but I didn't venture there so can't comment. however there is a burger king and a boots next door if you need to nip out for a snack. no food or drink is allowed at your desk. the desk space isn't huge but was big enough to sit my laptop side by side with their computers. The centre closes at 4:30 and they give you a 15min warning so you can get packed up and back on the train before the evening rush.

They deal with Family Law, Criminal Law, Debt, Housing and accident claims and are extremely efficient. There are 2 Solicitors that work within the firm. Upon a first impression, they do not look like your average solicitor, but after dealing with them you find that they are not only extremely friendly people, but they know their job and are friendly, trustworthy and reliable. Upon entering the office, you are normally greeted by a secretary and a radio blasting out the latest tunes! The offices are glass panelled, not that discreet but enough so that you still feel like you are one-2-one with your solicitor. They deal with legal aid also. Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment soon, appointments can only be made in the afternoon as the solicitors spend their mornings in court. I would definately recommend using this firm, as they are the best solicitors I have discovered within Edinburgh

It's really well visually merchandised, making it's great if you just want a quick scoot around or are looking for something in particular. You won't have to rake - YAY! During my adventures here I've seen a great old donkey tea towel - sadly my bestie nabbed it first, I have found some great vintage books, (including the 1950s Secretaries Handbook, which is now one of my all time favourite reads!), and snapped up a couple of summer dresses, so I can hardly complain!! They have a small vintage section as well as modern clothes and a few more high end items, so you do get a good variety in outfit choices for guys and gals. As this is a Boutique Salvation Army shop it is a bit more expensive than regular charity shops, but I'd say that's fair play as they clearly work hard to bring more better quality stuff inside.
