Lovely little charity shop just off Brunsfield which I usually pop in when I pass because they tend to have great window displays... What can I say, I'm easily distracted by shiny things!
It's really well visually merchandised, making it's great if you just want a quick scoot around or are looking for something in particular. You won't have to rake - YAY!
During my adventures here I've seen a great old donkey tea towel - sadly my bestie nabbed it first, I have found some great vintage books, (including the 1950s Secretaries Handbook, which is now one of my all time favourite reads!), and snapped up a couple of summer dresses, so I can hardly complain!!
They have a small vintage section as well as modern clothes and a few more high end items, so you do get a good variety in outfit choices for guys and gals.
As this is a Boutique Salvation Army shop it is a bit more expensive than regular charity shops, but I'd say that's fair play as they clearly work hard to bring more better quality stuff inside.
Last, but not least, there's a big fitting room and nice staff too... What more can you ask for? read more
