Prospective tenant observes a well maintained building with courteous staff and potential apartments with great views...( Potential apartments=higher you are floor wise...IMO) Lobby and common areas are nice and kept up with, the fitness area is nice and some of the floorplans I saw were good. The Landing is along the banks of the Miami River and centralized in downtown Dayton...Close to U.D.and Sinclair, Oregon District and Neon Movie Theater, as well as The Schuster Center ( stage/ concert hall) for the performing arts...You are just right across the river from the Dayton Art Institute and there are accesses to freeways to the VA Medical Center, Wright State U., Wright PATT. Air Force Base, Fairfield and Dayton Mall, The Greens, and The Airforce Museum...Downtown, you are close to the Dayton Dragons Baseball Field and the walking/bike path...I thought the bike kiosk was a great thing. It's easy to catch the bus as there is a centralized hub located right near by. One can take advantage of several free events, including outdoor concerts that Dayton provides through out the year. I found that the several Tennant's that I happened to meet and hold a conversation with, have really liked living at the Landing and all that I spoke with have been there for quite some time. It did seem safe and very much likens great place.....But, only thing, I'm tired of hearing " we just have too many floorplans to list on our website...bullsh*t...The rent is a little higher, I guess because it's nice and you are urban but you make enough money to market better! Put at least10 floorplans together and the measurements...Remember that prospective renters want to see more than one pic of a kitchen and that kitchens and bathrooms are two rooms that people desire to see the most....All this needs to be done professionally...Quality pics and floorplans.... read more
