He is the most professional person I have ever met, He is also kind and very friendly.

Ethan Lanagan is the best real estate agent! He helped us buy and sell our home in California. When we moved to Tennessee, he was our agent buying and selling our home there also. He helped us every step of the way and made what can be a very stressful process go very smoothly. We sold our homes quickly and effortlessly and at top dollar. I would only recommend Ethan as your agent. You will be very happy you did!!! Thank you Ethan for everything. read more

We moved from California to Tennessee recently. We were referred to Ethan at Compass realty. We contacted Ethan via phone and had a conversation on how to go about starting the home buying process. Ethan was very helpful and informative on the market in Tennessee and specifically in the Spring Hill/Columbia area where we were interested in looking as well as the price range we targeted. Approximately one year ago we came to Tennessee to meet with Ethan and visit several houses. Even though Ethan knew that we were not ready to buy at that time he met with us in his office and he thoroughly explained all of the different areas as well as pricing to us as well as spent a day driving us around to view properties. When it came time to actually purchase a home Ethan worked tirelessly to find us the home we were looking for. Ethan was a great advocate for us through the entire process. If you are looking to buy a home in the Nashville area I would highly recommend contacting Ethan Lanagan. read more

Ethan was immensely helpful with our hunt for a new home. When looking for a home and living out of state it is very important to have someone you can count on. Our daughter in law Jaime, recommended Ethan and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Buying a new construction home AND living out of state is a challenge.... Ethan was up to that challenge!!! When inspections came up... Ethan was our eyes and ears.... his help was tremendous! He was the go to and made things happen.... it was like we were right there! So glad we had ETHAN LANAGAN to represent us with the builder. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

As first time homebuyers, we were very intimidated at the idea of purchasing a house. Luckily, we had Tom Champion from Compass Realty as our realtor. Tom was extremely thorough, explaining the home buying process and guiding us from beginning to end. He scheduled the house tours, walked us through negotiating the offer/counteroffer, kept us on track for our closing date. He helped us find what we were looking for, and was always available for questions (of which we had many). Tom was extremely patient, communicative, and efficient, and we would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home. read more

Ethan Lanagan was a fabulous agent: attentive, responsive and patient. We had several offers within 48 hours of listing and he negotiated the full asking price. Because we were not local when the house was listed, he went above and beyond checking on the house (particularly before and after the 2026 ice storm) and reminding us to complete necessary items before closing. He responded quickly during all times of the day, night and weekends. We are very grateful that we had Ethan as our agent! read more

I'm not really sure if I could put into words just how amazing our experience working with Ethan was. We had a longer journey in our home search than most... two years. Ethan never tired of answering the long list of questions, took us on many house hunting expeditions, and always made sure our best interests were met. Ethan took the time to understand what worked for us individually and as a family - and importantly - what didn't. He would bring things to our attention that might be a deal breaker before we had a chance to notice or may not have noticed. For Ethan, it wasn't about just closing a deal, it was really about helping us find a home we loved. That is what sets him apart! Buying a home is very stressful and is one of the biggest purchases you can make. Having someone as your partner through it all is essential. That was Ethan! Ethan is detailed, exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and a true expert in is field. I truly believe without Ethan, our experience would not have been so easy and seamless. He thinks of everything and is always prepared and willing to help in any way possible. I highly recommend you give him a call... promise you... it would be the best decision of your home buying experience! Give him a call, you will not be disappointed! read more

From the very first conversation to closing day, working with Ethan was an absolutely outstanding experience. As an out of state homebuyer navigating the fast-paced Nashville real estate market, my husband and I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely caring professional by our side. Ethan brought a level of expertise that gave us confidence at every turn--from understanding the nuances of different neighborhoods and to identifying hidden value in listings. Ethan has an incredible pulse on the local market, and his advice was always spot-on and in our best interest. What truly sets him apart, though, is the personal touch. He treated us not just as a client, but as a priority. Communication was always prompt, clear, and proactive. No question was too small, and every concern was met with patience and insight. It felt like we had a trusted friend in the business--one who genuinely wanted us to find the perfect home, not just close a deal. Thanks to Ethan, we are now settling into our home that we absolutely love, in a community that fits us perfectly. We are looking forward to working with Ethan again in a few months as we hunt for land. If you're looking to buy or sell in middle Tennessee, do yourself a favor--work with Ethan. I was in the middle of selling my home in California and planned on retiring to one of the many suburbs of Nashville. I was selling/buying/moving on my own as a single woman and needed to have someone I could trust to provide advice on the different communities around Nashville. Ethan came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. I gave him my list of must haves, and he provided advice on specific areas around Nashville. I decided on Spring Hill and we were able to identify 2 possible properties. Ethan did remote walk throughs of both properties and I decided on one of them. He helped me with an offer which was contingent on the sale of my California home. Ethan and his group made the offer/escrow process simple and their communication was exceptional. I always knew where we were in the process. Ethan was always, patient and available and once escrow closed helped me get some flooring replaced before I moved in. I am so thankful for the help I received from the Lanagan group and if I sell/buy in the future, they will be my first phone call. read more

Ethan Lanagan was referred to us by our lender after we had a not-so-good experience with another Tennessee realtor. Ethan was a joy to work with. Ethan made buying a home in Tennessee while living in California very easy. Corresponding with Ethan through phone calls, texts, FaceTime, and emails was very helpful. Ethan took the time to understand what our needs and wants were for the home we were looking for. During our visit to Tennessee in November 2020, Ethan set aside time for us to view houses over the course of two days. Even though we didn't find anything during that trip, Ethan made himself available for video tours when we were back in California. Ethan did three video tours for us over the course of a week in December 2020, the last one he offered to do on New Year's Eve. We loved the house so much we wanted to make an offer and Ethan wrote up the offer and counteroffer on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day without any hesitation or complaint. During our January 2021 visit to Tennessee for our home inspection, the inspection revealed there were some issues with the house that made us question our decision about the house. Ethan heard our concern and suggested we look at more houses while we were there. We found a brand new build in the area and Ethan was amazing with closing the deal. Ethan was on top of the process and even addressed some of the concerns before we had to say anything. His attention to detail helped keep our stress level to a minimum while we planned our move across the country. Ethan was always willing to help and intervene when needed. Ethan jumped through many hoops (and there were many) for us and he did it with grace. Ethan drove many miles and countless minutes on the phone and computer for us. His level of service and attention to detail is amazing! Ethan certainly earned every star on this review. read more

Six weeks before our move from California to Tennessee, we contacted Ethan Lanagan. After supplying him with our home preferences and preferred locations, he immediately sent us emails of property either on the market or soon to be that fit our criteria. The emails had the ability to make comments and ask questions to which we received prompt replies from Ethan. Ethan was also helpful in the sale of our California home because he is licensed in both states. He helped us successfully navigate property inspections, real estate documents and disclosures, etc. Ethan's calm demeanor during what could have been a very stressful time was reassuring particularly considering California's 45-day and Tennessee's 15-day escrows. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional agent. We highly recommend Ethan! read more

I recommend Ethan to anyone looking for a realtor. My wife and I moved to the area from out of state, and Ethan helped us find a place to rent remotely before the move and then helped us with an extensive search for a home once we were here. Ethan Lanagan is one of those real estate gems you want to hold onto because your return on investment will be priceless. My husband and I had the daunting task of moving our family of four from Southern California to Franklin, Tennessee -- and we had no idea what to expect and where to start. After researching a ton of real estate professionals in TN, we chose Ethan. And when he came highly recommended from a colleague of ours, we knew he was the one. I have to tell you: He should be 'the one' for every state transplant looking for a more affordable and higher quality of living in TN. His communication response times were instant -- quite literally. And his in-person communication delivery was just as stellar. I loved that he didn't have that 'sales-y vibe' and actually talked with us in a real and authentic kind of way. His listening skills are on point, and his relaxed, easygoing demeanor calmed a stressed-out me. He toured us through the area each time we traveled from CA to TN, and he made the entire experience fun. He's an expert in the area, so expect for him to thoroughly and honestly answer all your questions -- and even answer the ones you didn't even think to ask. You'll love his personality, his passion for what he does, and his protective nature over you, your budget, your housing preferences, and your peace of mind. He'll fight for you when he needs to; he'll deliver up awesomeness when you least expect it; and he'll make you feel like a real estate champ, even if you don't always feel like you know what you're doing. It's because of Ethan that we were able to get our dream home. It's because of him that our escrow process was a breeze. It's because of him that we loved the entire experience. read more
