On visit 2 (a few weeks later) we asked the owner about the flavors that were not in the cupcakes we purchased. She said it should have tasted like the names. We expressed our disappointment with how she names them vs the flavor because 4 out of 5 did not reflect the name. Blueberry cupcake....Not only did the cupcake not taste like blueberry but the "blueberry" on top was not even a blueberry. The mint cupcakes are vanilla dyed green and the only flavor we could taste was the chocolate chips. The cookie dough is more of a sugar peanut butter blend (very grainy). Our favorite cupcakes to date.... Cookies and cream, salted Carmel and maple bacon. Our last visit was last week and we have to travel to get to her location (we are opposite side of town) and she was closed.....during the week. We follow her on Facebook as well and nothing was posted on that site (this is not the first time that we have traveled to find her closed). We ended up stopping at a new bakery in town. We now have 3 sweet bakery's in a 15 mile radius (2 just opened) It will be interesting to see how I Sparkle is impacted. She's got the "pretty" look but the flavors are up for grabs in my opinion. Overall we will continue to visit I Sparkle because the cupcakes are cute. My recommendation to new customers..... ALWAYS ASK what the cupcake tastes like vs the name and if you are traveling there CALL ahead since she closes without notice.

They also make other bakery items and beautiful custom cakes for graduations, weddings and such. It's a little more expensive for the area, but the quality of the items, freshness, and service are worth filling a box every once in awhile to treat yourself. Their pink boxes have become a recognizable object in Oshkosh! In a larger city the lack of no lot and further away street parking might be a hindrance, but being younger and able having to carry items halfway down a block hasn't impeded impulse stopping to buy. There is 1-2 spots of short term (15 min) parking in front, but every time I've been there they've been taken. The Lick the Bowl cupcake is my favorite option!

They catered my niece's party with lots of sweet, frosted, buttery donuts that tasted so fresh and upscale for a reasonable price. There is usually only one staff member working but they always are polite and efficient. They close relatively early (2pm) so I'd consider it weekend spot unless you're off for the day. It's a smaller shop and there isn't much seating so it isn't a place I'd plan on bringing family to sit down. If you have 5 bucks in your pocket, pop in while you're hanging on the square and treat yourself to something sweet!

The service was wonderful and I'm sure they have better items, I was just bummed to pay such a high price for cupcakes that ultimately didn't get eaten. Only 1 person out of our 9 person gathering enjoyed them.
