Because this was my first time in, I went with a full body massage. While there is a generic flow to most massages, several aspects of Rachel's stood out. Some massages I've had felt like various phases were dragging on. With Rachel, the order of operations felt sensible, timing felt appropriate for each muscle group, and the transitions between groups were smooth. The next facet of the session that stood out was attention to detail. Every group was warmed up prior to receiving a good combination of stretching and pressure. From feet to hands , it felt like all parts of the muscular groups were given care. Finally, and most importantly, Rachel made it abundantly clear that she is open to communication and feedback throughout every step of the session. Some places want you to sit quietly, and this doesn't always work for me. It takes time for someone to get to know you and your needs, which aren't fixed in time. Without communication, it's unlikely you get the most of the experience. All of this being said, I plan to visit again!
