I immediately get out of my car and asked if it was OK to come in and look around. Turns out it's Shelia! She happened to stop into take care a few little things in the store. She was incredibly welcoming and started to tell me the story behind her art. Turns out Sheila paints her own art and she does an amazing job! I loved everything about her selection. We were looking at some items and I was holding two things I thought about purchasing. Suddenly the lady working there came and said "let me take those to the counter for you" and basically took them out of my hands as her eyes were looking into the bags we were holding. We were stunned as we had just arrived and we hadn't really even began to shop. She didn't do this to anyone else while we were there. It was so incredibly offensive I just got the items back from her and left. My daughter and I discussed it and I went back and told her how offended I had been. She apologized that I felt offended but it fell flat and I don't think she was actually sorry. It was so weird and disappointing. Needless to say, this is no longer my favorite store in Tryon.
