They are all very knowledgeable about the area and have some amazing stories to tell! The walls of the pub itself also tell a story, with lots of personal photos and trinkets collected over the years by the family. They also serve the best pint of Guinness in the land! It's a great spot to come with a big group of friends, there's loads of space and also a room with a pool table! The pub itself doesn't serve food, but they very kindly allow you to bring food in from the neighbouring takeaway while you enjoy your drinks which is brilliant! We stayed in the camping site in our campervan. there are some mobile homes on site, not sure if they are private or for rent. The campsite is nice and small, well maintained and has all the facilities. Food in the bar was traditional pub grub and what we got was tasty, with generous portions. the atmosphere in the bar was great - locals and tourists chatting away. I cannot wait for things to warm up a bit so we can go back.
