They are friendly and seem to like that you are there. It's hard to find at other convenience stores. They know my name made sure I got their card so I could start saving immediately and they let you make your own drinks. I'm kind of fussy about that. It's always clean and well stocked. I will drive out of my way to go here. That's big when there are several options but I'm sticking by them.

And the best part: So much booze they have a walk-in cooler filled with it (a majority, of course, beer). Usually one of the most important elements to the customer is the gas PRICES. Jackson's is in a joint venture with Chevron, and their fuel prices are in line with those in the area. So Jackson's is great if you want more than just gas on your next fuel up.

Gas stations dispense gas for cars. 2. Cars need gas to go. 3. Fusion power is not yet available to power vehicles (unlike in those lying Back to the Future movies). #2 makes #1 inherently required, you have to go somewhere. #3 is just annoying, but the fault of poor research by Hollywood. However, I think what puts Maverick above the curve is the stores themselves. And this particular location has a big, modern, clean store with plenty of variety of goods and has friendly service on almost every visit I've made. As a result of this and the fact to boot it also has plenty pumps so you can always get in without a wait to gas up makes this my gas station of choice. I try to support Maverick since while not a wholly local chain, it is one of the bigger ones in Utah and certainly limited to only a handful of Western states, many of which are the lesser populated ones.

I personally preferred the cheeseburger one a little bit more, however, I really enjoyed the flavors of the pepper and onions in the cheesesteak one. The bun was buttered and cooked on the grill. It was super soft! I saw that they had a lot of chicken dishes and have other reviews about those. I would like to try those out sometime as well. We also ordered a regular and sweet potato fry. I personally felt that the regular fries needed a little bit more salt. The sweet potato fries were very flavorful and I really liked them. I'm glad that I finally got around to trying the restaurant! I definitely would come back for a quick lunch.

When we had meetings at the venue for wedding planning inquires she would always have to leave the meeting early because she was busy with something else. I feel if you're helping plan a wedding you should plan your days out more precisely since there is a lot of money on the line. The coordinator and the owner of the venue were never on the same page regarding what times we could be there the day of and the day before. The coordinator would tell us one thing and then the owner would tell us another. Also if you want alcohol for your special day, fore warning but this venue will charge you a $500 dollar fee and also make you get a licensed and insured bartender to open alcohol for you at the wedding(even if you're just having beer and seltzer). So in total you might spend almost a $1000 extra on top of the $5,200 just for the venue, bartender, and alcohol all together. They were very strict with us not being able to come in to our own wedding to set up decorations unless it was the day before from 7pm-9pm Also the day of the wedding we weren't able to come in the building to continue decorating until 3 pm and we had to be out by 10 pm otherwise we would get charged an extra $75 per hour. Also while our ceremony and reception and photos were going on they still were allowing customers to come through for food and ice cream and to buy items from the shop on the other side. I feel when we pay these people over $5,500 for the venue, they could at least not have people interrupting us while we are having our special day.

Walked in and the store clerk helped us right away. She was very helpful. Explained the selection and gave us a box to load some sodas. They have everything! I recommend you try the Maple root beer...SUPER GOOD. The vanilla root beer float is also amazing. They also have candies in the back. I don't drink tons of soda, but root beer is one of my favs and will definitely be stopping by when I get the craving. :)

They have a ton of novelty candies for kids. The cafe serves typical diner fare, but is way on the pricey side. One day on the specials board I saw root beer floats for $5. Ouch. The counter where you pay has a lot of delicious looking baked goods in it like humongous cookies and muffins, but I've never tried them. We have never dined at the cafe, but plan to, eventually. They have a monopoly being the only place to grab a cold drink and a bag of chips on the mountaintop, but I enjoy the general-store look of the place and the charm of the mountain resort in general.

I'd recommend just driving 20 more seconds to the main resort area or just keep going down the canyon. A local BCC resident cooking on their grill might just give you a hotdog on the way down.
