It's pretty reliable to fall back on too when you need groceries or last minute items, but that being said it won't have everything if you like select brands you most likely will have to go to brainerd for that. The deli area we always like to order togo made salads or something from the hot bar if we want to make an easy dinner for that night. The workers behind the counter will either greet you and be nice and that tends to be rare. They never seem to be happy or in the mood to even smile. Sometimes they might just ignore you till you practically have to wave them down but its a 50/50 shot who you'll get same with the cashiers, you might get a pre-teen boy who doesn't even know how to speak one word like your total, its a little bizarre. If your a cashier maybe at least know how to ask if you'd like a receipt. thankyou

I ordered another meal to go and was charged for the to go box. What!? I called and tried to chat with the manager and almost right away she had attitude and I was told I didn't have to come back. I ordered two full meals. One to eat there and one to go. I needed a box for my leftovers, so two to go boxes. My to go meal didn't cost them a dirty plate or utensils. This is not the first time I have had bad experiences with servers at this bar. The food is great and the drinks are pretty good but this one person is horrible.

The new owners have now switched to processed, smaller, chicken strips and sauces that are not good. Their burgers are overcooked every single time. They make the food in large batches and then they sit in the warmers drying out even more. The old owners would make them to order or had only one order ready to go. And, they raised the costs substantially. I used to take family and friends there every time we'd be up for the weekend. We'd often have to wait in line. Not anymore. Too bad.

LOCATION: Next to Victuals which I recommend you go to if you want a place that delivers more than expected. There's limited street parking. First come, first served. DECOR: Minimalistic and modernly clean and sleek. Mostly white with natural accents of wood and metals. DRINKS: NO KAVA do I want interested in else was there. FOOD: There was plenty of 90's era candy. Warheads, ring pops, pop rocks and sugar daddys. It was a blast from the past. STAFF: Kind, apologetic and youthful. EXPERIENCE: My partner has never had kava before and decides to stop in at this place. She's very excited about trying kava which she's heard so much about. So we walk inside and it's as quiet as a library. No music and no conversation as though everyone stopped talking when we walked in. We walked to the front counter and asked where the kava was on the menu. Then we were told how the kava house has no kava. If it weren't for the nostalgic candy and cute decor, I'd say 1 star. It's the only reason we even stopped in. That's literally false advertisement. The very kind and sweet staff told us that it wasn't even legal for them to sell kava because they were minors. So you work at a Kava House that doesn't sell kava because it employs minors or the kava house is a lie and doesn't even have kava? Either way, why would I come back? I can get candy and coffee at a candy or coffee shop.
