Signed up for a monthly plan getting 4 adjustments included a month. Little did I know that if you don't use them during that time period you forfeit them. Here I am just a few days past the 30 day mark. Paid a months the worth for nothing. And if you're wondering about the complementary visits that are included when you first sign up? Yeah, forget about those too. Cancelled my subscription on the spot. Won't be going to this company again for any "chiropractic care". I guess some people just have to learn the hard way. read more

I was surprised how fast my appointment was. The doctor adjusted me and when I asked further questions about what I could do on my own to prevent my hips tilting, I was told she didn't know and I would Have to keep coming to get adjusted, I figured I would get some type of advice. I have been to other joints and the doctors always give me some type of advice-less training of muscles, stretch differently, etc. The receptionist ran my card 2 times and never cancelled one of them. This place is seriously amazing, I went to The Joint for the first time in 2016 and haven't stopped since. They are incredibly convenient, you don't even need an appointment. There's so many locations so when I'm traveling I can pop in any Joint and get an adjustment. And they are open on the weekends! I get maintenance adjustments weekly and let me just say Dr. Nick and Dr. Kevin are awesome! They are both really great chiropractors. Let me tell you something about the Joint in Tempe..just sublime! You walk in to a huge smile from the receptionist (I believe her name was Cynthia) who is eager to get you started kissing those joint troubles goodbye. Of course you have your healthy dose of paperwork, but upon completion your journey towards pain free living is only a hop, skip, and a jump away. Doctor Kevin Lees performed my exam/adjustment and gave me a very detailed diagnosis of the troubles in my lower back, along with some excellent stretches and exercises I can do from home. $15 bucks per visit is too bad either. I had heard of The Joint for some time before my first visit but I never really took a closer look. The morning of my first visit, I had a huge neck pain that was causing a headache and even some nausea and I knew that a chiropractic adjustment is just what I needed. I found out through Yelp that the joint accepts walk-ins and went straight away. After my first visit was so amazing that I decided to become a member. You never need to make an appointment, you just walk in, scan your barcode and get adjusted pretty shortly after. That makes everything so convenient! Plus, the price is the best I have ever seen and I have been to more than one other chiropractor before. Bottom line: you have to at least go for one visit to check it out! read more

This place is tops! I have had problems with my back for a very long time. I decided to give this place a shot after spending more than should be mentioned through other doctors and treatments. I feel that Dr. Knauf genuinely cares about his patients and is concerned about their well being and his role in helping them recover or simply maintain overall health. He was professional, precise, and to the point, yet his demeanor still implied he was sincere. I like the simplicity of their program, the walk-in only atmosphere, the convenience of their many locations (although I will only go to the Tempe location), and the affordability of their services. It is perfect for the on-the-go individual and fits most budgets without discomfort! I've been using chiropractic care for as long as I can remember. My biggest complaint has always been wait time. Here at the joint you are in and out in 5 to 20 minutes max. And the best part is that you are not sacrificing quality at all! I've been in for treatment about 20 times now and it is always as good and as quick as the last time. I hurt my back yesterday and needed an adjustment desperately! I've never been to the Joint but they take walk-ins in the evening. I couldn't drive there because my back was that bad, so I had to get a ride from my girlfriend. We arrived a few minutes after 6pm and the front girl was about to check me in with my new customer email with a discount coupon. Some other girl, obviously higher up the totem pole, told her not to check me in, because the policy is no new patients after 6...we're talking a few minutes here, and lobby was absolutely empty. Yet, she told me I would have to come back another day! Im in serious pain and can hardly walk, and just because it was a few minutes past 6, they turned me away. I will gladly pay more for a chiropractor that sees the value in their patient relationships! read more

Meh. Ability to walk-in is convenient. Office is pretty bare bones. The membership/subscription is kind of annoying. Overall I don't think the adjustments I received have been as good as my previous chiro. I have been here twice. The first adjustment was great. The doctor really listened and spent time working on mt back. I went back today with horrible back pain. I left with the exact same pain. The doctor spent 6 or 7 minutes on my back. it was terrible. Plus it was 39.00 for nothing. I will never go back and suggest you don't go there either. A few months ago I had dislocated some of my ribs after talking to a friends dad who is a chiropractor at the Joint in North Carolina. So I went to this location and saw the new person $29.99 deal, was going to get just that but the chiropractor there said I may need a few more sessions, so I signed up for the monthly. What I didn't know is I would be charged the $29.99 first time charged and the $69.99 monthly charge. I asked the person at the front desk if I could cancel after a month since I'd probably only come in a few more times and she told me yes. Turns out there's a minimum 2 months sign up so I get charged another $69.99 despite not using the service. I go in the day before the second month lapses and ask if I can cancel and the person at the front says I can't until the 2 months are charged. So I leave and I get busy the following month and I got charged a third time. Next time I need to use a chiropractor I'll just fly to North Carolina and get it done because it's the same price and at least I'll see my friends while I'm there instead of spending $210 here. If they ask you if you want extra stuff just say no because they're probably going to double charge for the same visit if you sign up for some "special deals". read more

I have been going to the joint now for only 3 weeks. In those weeks, I have felt better than I have in several years. I helped a friend move and to thank me for the 4 hours of lugging his stuff around, he bought me a 12 pack and took me to The Joint. Frankly I would have just preferred more beer but my legs and back were killing me from the move so I went along with it. It was great! My body feels refreshed and I wasn't even sore the next day. An amazing atmosphere to be in. Quiet and tranquil office with great customer service! Great location. I came in barely able to walk, breathe, or move my neck. I was in a lot of pain, but after my spinal readjustment, I walked out feeling instantly better. I left with no pain, and I was able to move my neck. Quick and easy, walk in, scan your tag, get cracked, go have lunch before your lunch break is over. Takes about ten minutes, and you're good to go! Take a little extra time with your first visit to fill out some forms. Everything travels with you to all of their various offices, so if you're visiting a friend at the other end of town and need a quick adjustment, you're set with no hassle! I have been a member of the joint for at least 4-5 years. I go months without a problem but this month I have used my entire 4 visits plus paid for an extra one. I am feeling worse now then when I started. I have muscle spasms and a tightness in the lower back. I think on the second visit a lady I had not seen there before made some adjustments and now I have extreme pain in my shoulder and can't even push a grocery cart. I told my brother I felt like I had been assaulted. Now they are talking about having to do x-rays. But my lower back is fine. I have cancelled my program at the joint read more

So....I was in need of a closer chiropractor since mine moved to Gilbert a few years ago and I just haven't gone as regularly as I need to. Bought a Groupon and thought I would give this place a try -- at the regular prices they had listed online ($49 for 4 visits in a month) I was certainly excited about the prospect of it being great at this price (BARGAIN). As anyone who gets regularly adjusted, chiropractic is well worth it but is certainly an investment of disposable income @ approximately $40 a visit/co-pay, with or without insurance. Depending on what the docs do, you can spend well in excess of that (ultrasound, tens unit, etc.) My first experience there was excellent, as have all other subsequent visits. Steve is a friendly, laid back sort of guy. Immediately puts you at ease -- I also felt like the adjustments I receive are exactly what I was looking for. I've now been 5 times total and have just signed up for the monthly membership. At $49, this makes each adjustment a mere $12.25 each! He listens and pays attention to what is going on, which I like. It would be easy for this to have a "cattle call" feel to it since there isn't really any privacy, but I haven't felt that way. I will say that for those that have what I call moderate to severe pain and other more pressing issues, this may not be the place for you. Because of the type of place it is, you are not going to get 45 minutes of his time here to do a complete family history, inventory, xrays, etc. It's not that kind of place. It's a place that is perfect for someone is relatively good health that really is looking for chiropractic adjustments as a weekly "tune up'"/preventative type of thing. If you need something more intense/detailed or more personal one on one attention, go to a traditional chiropractor instead. But for me, this place ROCKS. Thanks, Dr. Steve! read more

The doctor ( don't remember his name) did a quick check & recommended me a wrist band for night & for my wife he recommended us to a hand surgeon. He didn't ask us to pay anything for his advice. The Joint in Tempe with Dr. Steve and staff are fabulous. I got hooked going to a chiropractor because my husband was going regularly. The Joint has great wellness plans to fit every need. We have the 4 visits/month and we love our weekly chiropractor visit. The only down side is making sure to get in adjusted inside the dates. For instance, our plan is from the 28th to the 28th and we have to use all four visits within the dates, not within a single month. And everyone's date will be different based on when you start. Getting adjusted weekly has helped me as I have transitioned to a desk job where my neck and shoulders usually ache by the end of the week. Dr. Steve is great with us, finding out how we are doing and identifying problem areas, teaching us how to strengthen the muscles. Overall, I'd say give it a try and see how much it helps. Another plus is the ability to go to other Joint locations across the valley and even States. The plan works the same and it's cool to visit different Chiropractors and feel out which one you like the best. They all do tthings just a little bit different, but we all have different needs. So the price i seen The Joint have was $29.00 that is amazing let me say!!!! Anywhere else wants sooooo much hundreds of dollars just too much. After that Isigned up with they visits per month it felt good to be able to come back and not have to worry about paying anything additional just $59.00 per month.
