Called for a LAST MINUTE initial appointment yesterday. The receptionist Veronica was amazing, explained the treatment plan Dr. Hill prescribed down to the T. Dr. Hill WAS PHENOMENAL. She took her time going through what issues I was having, and wasn't rushing to just get me in and out (especially coming in within 30 Min. Before they closed). I was having lots of neck discomfort and pain, woke up the next day today) with a noticeable difference from how I felt before my appointment. Great Staff, great experience. I have zero complaints about this location other than the chairs. As a plus size person, i cannot fit into the chairs. And since I have backpain (reason i go), trying to balance myself on the very edge of the seat causes me even more pain. I know me being overweight is not your problem...but some larger chairs would be great! I also wasnt the only plus size person i saw in there. read more

The thing about the Joint Chiropractic is that you have to know the doctors. Most of them are unable to adjust my neck (which is admittedly difficult to adjust). But Dr. Wong at Springtown Center is actually phenomenal! He listens and works with me to make sure I get a proper adjustment. But it's not just listening, he has the skill and aptitude to back it up. I highly recommend him! read more

05/16/22 Original Review: ***DO NOT DO THEIR MEMBERSHIP HERE.*** Before I even begin, the 1 star is for their billing deceptive trade practices. It is NOT a reflection on Dr. G for his service. I give 5 stars to Dr. Gebhart known as Dr. G. He has angel hands and fixed up my husband who's a police officer after a work injury. Fixed me up with misc. issues too. He is truly gifted. That being said, I'm so upset I even have to give one star to this business. Nearly three months ago, due to changes in schedules that don't coincide with this location's hours of operation, my husband tried calling to temporarily cancel our membership. The woman said it needed to be done in person which I found odd. There was no way that was even possible. That was my first red flag so I locked our FSA debit cards so they don't charge us since we wanted to cancel. Fast forward to today, when I realized they DID try charging both of us for memberships for 2 months, I asked him to call again and try to cancel again. The woman who answered him pretty much said we needed to go in person AND pay the last two months we never even went to them. He explained he tried to cancel our memberships way back then and explained the schedule clashing but she said they wouldn't even cancel it until we pay them those two unpaid months for both of us. $296 total! And since we can't make it today, tomorrow May2022 for $69 and $79 will be added too. They're nuts! Why won't they allow a fax or email or written notice? Why MUST it be in person? Why weren't we told this when the front desk tried pushing the membership to us? This qualifies as a DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICE and I will make sure to file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General's office about it. A written notice should suffice as well. Imagine they have a client who became a paraplegic and can't drive anymore. They're going to make them go in person to cancel that membership? That's simply ridiculous! This truly upsets me mostly because we absolutely LOVE Dr. G and was hoping once this clash in schedules got resolved, my husband could go back to them (even if paying per visit). So now we have to find someone else, and cancel our debit FSA because it's getting annoying locking our cards and unlocking them when we need them because we are getting unauthorized charges to our cards. But anyway, you have been warned. If you do go, ask for Dr. G. The other two docs we saw were "ok" but not as good as him. And don't do their membership if you know you can't go in person to cancel when the time comes. This whole situation just puts a sour taste in my mouth but you can be the ultimate judge to that. It was at the expense of being banned from any clinic in their franchise, but I guess that's the price to pay for being factual and honest about the situation. I was next to my husband when he talked to the person and when I realized the balance issue and membership was resolved , I was telling him softly to please let them know I will delete all the reviews being they resolved the issue and it was much appreciated but he kept nodding his head "no". When he hung up and told me we aren't allowed back, he just said to just leave it alone. The damage is done. It is what it is. All we wanted was our memberships cancelled and balance adjusted effective when we originally called to do so back in March. It is May and they still didn't want to help unless we paid up march, April, and May and went only in person. My husband really appreciated Dr. Gebhart (Dr. G) and wanted to continue to see him when his schedule would permit in the future. We got banned though however, we can't be getting salty about how they did us wrong yet a 3rd time (two within 24 hours) because that specific doc truly is amazing and it's not his fault. I want to make that clear. He's amazing in his trade and super down to earth and knowledgeable. Bottom line: If you have chiro problems, he is a true miracle worker so don't hesitate to go to him. Just know their policy on cancelling memberships if you get convinced to sign up for one like we were. You're probably better off paying per visit. But still worth every penny if you see Dr. G. Just don't do their membership if you will have issues canceling when the time comes. read more

My husband needed an immediate adjustment and due to the fact we moved further from his regular chiropractor and due work hours, it was convenient to try The Joint for the first time and hopefully immediate relief. Boy were we wrong. Now don't get me wrong, the young lady in the front was so attentive and sweet and very knowledgeable. But the chiropractor my husband was assigned... seemed inexperienced. He noted my husband would need multiple sessions to resolve his back issue And was shocked to find out when my husband goes to his regular chiropractor he gets fixed that very day and doesnt need to go back until he needs too. The assigned chiropractor here (a young guy) barely pressed on him, if anything the table cracked more than he did my husband. And unfortunately my husband's conditioned got worse immediately. His legs would cramp and ached terribly and his pelvis was hurting all of a sudden since leaving this place. And note all he had was a middle back issue to start with. This place gives me "im going to make your issue worse so you keep coming back here" vibes. Whereas actually good places fix you right there so you'd know to keep coming back and actually recommend the place. We will not be returning at all. I do not recommend to anyone looking for relief. Save your backs! Btw my husband missed work so he could go get his back adjusted at his regular chiropractor the next day and was immediately fixed and relieved! pm me for our highly recommend chiropractor. Joined program 5 years ago. Very convenient with no appointment needed. Dr. Gebhart has some old school technique he used in my neck for shoulder encapsulitis. It worked beautifully to ease pain. I visited The Joint for the first time this week. Amanda, the Clinic Coordinator, provided excellent customer service. She was patient while I ran though my lengthy list of questions. She proactively confirmed receipt of all my new patient paperwork right after I faxed it and before I even had a chance to call their office. I didn't have to wait long for my initial appointment....in fact you don't even need an appointment there. Dr. Hamilton did my new patient exam and first adjustment. Despite how busy they were, he took his time, was thorough and answered my questions. The adjustment was great although I think it will take a few more visits before I will see a difference. Here are a few things to keep in mind...1. Adjustments are done in an open room so you will not have a ton of privacy 2. They don't x-ray you 3. They don't use electrical stimulation or ultrasound which you may find in other chiropractic clinics 4. They don't take insurance but their pricing is reasonable 5. For subsequent visits, they will have you in and out of there in just a few minutes...they are fast (but careful) The other great thing about The Joint is that you can go to any location with your membership, not just the Kuykendahl location. Overall, I like The Joint's business model. They are making chiropractic care convenient and affordable. I am looking forward to visiting them again soon. read more

Hello hello my elites! I honestly have been pretty low because I haven't been sleeping to well due to motherhood and having a small baby and two older kids that drain a lot of wonderful energy. I love my babies but man they are hard work and lots of physical activity. Feeling so strained we came to the joint which I have been to before and they never fail me. I love this, I love how fast, easy and friendly everything is. Stacy checked myself and my husband in and she was super nice and very informative. She was patient with me as we had our two older kids with us and one touches everything she can get her hands on, but Stacy was awesome, patient and got us in as quickly as possible. Dr. wells was my chiro for this session and she was amazing. She treated me so well and we got to know each other in the process. I definitely will be visiting her again because her skills are impecable. She even used this bio freeze on me and man I slept like a baby when I got home. My husband on the other hand raved so much about Dr. Moran, he was also super cool, friendly and got down to business. Finally my husband was able to get some relief and we are beyond grateful for how we were treated, taken care of and most definitely accepting of having our kids there. Thank y'all so much! So my elites out there, if your back is straining and your in need of a good chiro definitely check them out. Please do not get trapped into making automated payments with the Joint Chiropractic. I signed up for monthly service and decided after a few months to end it. I went to their office, signed the document to cancel the service and thought it was done. The Joint continued to bill my credit card for over a year. I admit I should have been on it immediately, and that is my bad. I called their office; they confirmed that the cancelation form was on file and that they had mistakenly charged my account. They did offer a partial refund in the form of a credit to the card company . The credit only covered a few months (about half); it did not cover the full amount that was incorrectly billed. I canceled the card to prevent them from doing further damage. I still have one charge left on my card. I repeatedly asked for someone from The Joint to call me back to work this out. I have never received a call from them. At this point, I will need to pay the credit card for the one-month of non-service to avoid collections and a credit rating hit. I will now need to file suit to get the rest of what is owned to me. This was definitely not worth the hassle. Stay away from any type of automatic payment with this group. read more

Let's talk about Dr. Hamilton! He's so my hero and I can't even deal with how happy he makes me.. I'm so overly dramatic, but he is pretty fantastic. Extremely thorough. Because they are so thorough, you my have to wait a few minutes. However, be assured that when it's your turn, you will get the same attention. Avoid peak times, such as Saturday mornings. I've had to leave a few times on Saturdays because new patients take so long when they are ahead of you. They now consistently have two chiro's so I am raising my rating to 5 stars instead of 4. Also, they took amazing care of my daughter following a series of migraines and a car accident. Very pleased! As for pricing, they offer a flat monthly rate that costs me much less than I was paying at a traditional office. These guys are solid. read more

Upon further investigation I learned that it mirrors a health club in that one can enter into a monthly contract for a weekly visit, which seemed attractive. I began treatment for a lower back issue and quickly began to feel like a piece of meat that was being run through a processor. No privacy, just a row of treatment tables. After three visits within a week, my back problems had not only not improved, but the violent adjustments had created pain where I previously had none. I was worse off than when I started! Upon trying to cancel my contract I was told I must pay for her another month before I could be let out and would be required to pay for service whether I used it or not! Thought I'd give this place a shot since it's right down the road from my house but never going back and definitely not recommending to anyone. Employees were nice but some seemed very uneducated on their practice. My main complaint is that you have to cancel in person if you decides to and I don't have a lot of tile outside of work which I explained to them and with everything going on you'd expect them to take certain precautions such as online or over the phone cancelations. Really great, kind people. Dr. Gebhart is thorough and actually cares about what ails you. He takes his time and is able to instantly put you at ease. He doesn't just adjust your back and move on. He kindly will ask what hurts and you don't leave until you experience some relief. I started coming about a year ago. My husband threw out his back and this place was close, convenient and fast. I hesitated as it is a "chain" and I thought it was going to be good enough for the situation, but not great. I have visited other chiropractors and liked someone in Magnolia which is a drive for me. My husband came back raving about the attention and explanation given to him by Dr. Gebhart. He later received a hand written thank you note from him which mentioned details during their small talk. I liked the attention to detail, but still not convinced. Then, one Saturday I woke up with so much neck pain that desperation called. I went there as my Chiropractor was closed. I was surprised that service was outstanding. Cayla remembers everyone's name I swear! She remembers small details of past conversations, is warm and friendly and makes you feel welcome. Dr. Gebhart is fantastic at explaining the details and letting you ask any questions. If you wait, you do so happily as you know he will give you the same respect and attention as any patient. You can track his schedule if you'd rather see him, but his other sub chiropractors are just as friendly and welcoming. The wait is usually minimal 10 min is the most I have waited, and you can always call ahead to see what the wait is. I pay with my flex account, which is great that they remind you that is an option. Here is the best part. I pay for a monthly subscription, and get 4 visits for about the price my other chiropractor was. I highly recommend this location. read more
