It's like an assembly line for chiropractic care. There's several different doctors. Some are amazing some not so amazing depending on who you get you may get fully cracked your arms leveled out your hips like all different things or some people just do one or two adjustments and let you go, I also have a gripe about the billing They won't let you cancel online I called somebody told me as long as I canceled by the 14th I wouldn't be billed again and I go in today to cancel and they billed me and there's no way that I can get my money back and the lady was just shrugged it off like I don't see it in the notes. Lady, I don't determine what your people put in the notes. I called several times one because I wanted to cancel online and the lady told me to get by today. She was very nonchalant with her reply. For me it just wasn't worth it. It's kind of like a gym membership that they expect 90% of the people to not use but they just get paid for. read more

I like The Joint for all of the reasons most people use as a reason for a bad rating. The package they try to sell you on makes it easier to check people in because you get a scan card. Yes, it's a little impersonal and assembly line like but it works for me. I've been to several chiropractors and it's usually a lot of waiting and a lot more expensive. For under $90 I'm getting 8 adjustments. I paid for the $29 first session. Then they added the 4 trips in a month for $59 (veterans discount) and they comped me the other 3 sessions for free. read more

My first visit was my last. I've had chiropractic care in the past, and had good experiences. However, this felt like assembly line, get em in, get em out and sell em a 'wellness' plan after you explain how many visits it will take to help you. In addition, the advice I was give is contrary to that of my doctor, my prior physical therapist, and other chiropractors. At the time I went, the issue I was experiencing was improving, but I wanted a professional to evaluate the issue. After my visit, and the extremely rough treatment, I was worse, and it took 3 days to get back to the level of improvement I'd managed on my own. While the hours are good, and the front desk staff was pleasant...the rough, gruff attitude of the doc, and the worsening of my pain ensure that I won't be returning. UPDATE Since I wrote the review, Alyssa from customer service has sent me message after message. The owner called my cell phone while I was at work. Alyssa asked for my contact information and I declined to provide it. The complete lack of respect exercised is so unprofessional. I already responded to Alyssa, advising that there was no 'fixing' this, that first impressions count. The second impression...getting hounded on line and via phone....was even worse. read more

I've had chiropractic care consistently for 10+ years for a rotated sacrum and chronic migraines... Although I do prefer to be a rapport with the same physician, this concept works just as well and dependent upon your insurance, is significantly cheaper. I just moved here from TN when my chiropractor did not take any insurance but charged a $90 monthly fee for unlimited adjustments. He also did not work weekends ... that being said, if you are new to chiropractic care or need flexible hours, this is the spot for you! I have only had one adjustment thus far but so far , so good....added plus is that if you travel or just vacation, there are locations everywhere so you potentially don't have to miss any treatments... read more

I like the Joint overall but it seems as though they are really more concerned into getting you into a contract versus helping your situation. Dr. W.was giving me the suggestion about the membership that I had once before and I mentioned that I would discuss with my husband and he immediately mentioned"I was going to give you some free sessions but since you are going to speak to your husband I won't" and the adjustment was less than 30 seconds. It made me feel like since you are not joining the plan.... pay your money and be on your way! Not very good customer service. Offer me the program but make me feel valued also please. It's my money that I'm paying. Give me the chance to talk to my husband or whoever before you rush me out of the door because I didn't join your program that you are offering. I have been going to different chiropractors for many years, both for treatment and "maintenance checkup". What is unique about The Joint are hours of operation and no nonsense, good 'ole chiropractic approach. With many chiropractors out there only a few are both affordable and effective. The Joint offers not just a convenience of walk in, but a sincere interest in well being of every patient, without over the top marketing so annoying in too many places these days. Idk what people here are complaining about, sometimes you might be sore after an adjustment because you were so out of whack, possibly adjusting places your previous doctor didn't do. This is my opinion only. I saw lots of happy people in the waiting area, many back for repeat visits. As for me, I am from another town where I had a rapport with my doctor. She took time to apply hot packs, electrical stim, or get out her medical books to show me what was wrong or how an imbalance in one area affects other areas. The Joint unfortunately is an in-and-out (almost drive-thru) operation with multiple doctors and a big room with several tables only a half-wall away from the waiting room, so everyone hears you groan. I was roughly treated by someone who did not speak except to tell me to roll over. It hurt a lot and took days to recover, I felt rudely treated like a piece of meat, and then I was hard-pressured to buy a package. Did it work? Yes, the problem was fixed. Will I ever go back? So far so good! Nice office. Pleasant staff. Dr Ciesiel saw me right away and came recommended. I love the flexible hours and the ability to do an easy walk-in and be seen very quickly! Complete waste of my time, they just want to sell you a membership, I went in maybe 3 minutes, and the guy cracked one spot in my back and tried to upsale a membership... gave me a b.s "lecture" about "what your problem is" and then gave me attitude when I told him I didn't want a membership... I spent more time filling out their paperwork then actually getting seen by the chiropractor, I could honestly have had a friend crack that one spot in my back, 1000% scam, and a waste of $30, I will NEVER go back, and anyone who wants a chiropractor that actually wants to help, this is NOT it... I cannot express the dissatisfaction and disappointment... he had the audacity to ask me after cracking one spot in my upper back, if any of my pain got better... I understand that it's not a one time visit kind of deal, but if you want me to get a membership; you better put in some effort, I wasn't expecting the problem to be fixed, but I was expecting for him to do more then just 1 half ass adjustment, the chiropractors name is Dr.Weston... old bald headed guy, honestly ridiculous and unprofessional. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Very poor customer service. Went all the way to the location only to be told the doctor could not see me without x-rays. I mentioned you may want to put that somewhere on your website or ad. The guy's attitude was like what ever. You would think someone would have said thank you for coming in but at this time we can't see you without x-rays, please come again. But no nothing at all, I was treated like I was bothering them and there were no patients in the office at the time. I could here the Dr yelling from behind the wall and at no time did he even say hi, hope to see you again or anything. They didn't even suggest where I could go to get x-rays. I found the Joint and was so thrilled that Dr. Ciesiel is not only is very experienced and skilled at his adjustments, but also recognized that I wasn't in need of a new patient education and got right to the evaluation/adjustments on my first visit. I went to this place in excruciating constant pain. I was referred by my massage therapist - Tony from Massage Envy to have an adjustment to help me with getting back to "regular". My first meeting with Dr. Cecil was great. I came back 4 times that week and began to feel better y the end of the week. I maintained constant treatment and found out that you can go to other locations There happened to be one close to my workplace and a bit closer on my commute home so I began visiting those. Dr. Brad was at the location off Duluth 120 - he was excellent as well. When I had pain in a certain area I would point to it and Dr. Brad would get right to it and I would feel better as he was adjusting. I've been seeing chiropractors all across the U.S. for over 30 years for acute, chronic or maintenance issues. Most have been kind, some gentle, some effective and others less so. Most have accepted insurance but with a co-pay; some of them have made me pay the entire fee up front and, at times, I was never reimbursed by insurance because they hired pitiful bookkeepers. The Joint makes it simple: pay what I would for co-pay and leave it at that. Walk-in service means, most times, you literally walk in to be treated quickly, efficiently, effectively and thoroughly. The receptionist knows my name (after one visit!) and is welcoming each time I enter. The doctors are kind and knowledgeable, each having unique approaches to the same adjustments. I went to the joint 2 days ago after being in a car accident. I did not think that I would be in so much pain a few days after an accident but I woke up barely able to walk and move around. My chiropractor was out for two weeks and his referral was too far away. So I went to the Joint to see if they could help. I had a doctor that could pin point all of where I was hurting and everything she said made sense. I was told that she was just a stand in until the regular doctor got back, but she would make notes and have them ready so that I would be able to let another doctor see, and an idea of what I going through. They said that they would send me the notes on Monday. I thought that the Saturday visit was great, I was still in pain but at least some one explained to me what was happening. Then Monday when I tried to get the doctors notes I ran into the receptionist from Hell. The smart mouthed, snarky, full of attitude, unempathetic and unprofessional Amber Miller. The self proclaimed "boss". I was informed that she is the manager and that I could not speak to anyone higher than her. I tried to explain to her that I was in pain and just needed the information from the doctor or at least the doctors name so that I could get the notes, but she would not budge. It was like talking to a power mad fast food cashier. I asked if the were anyone else I could speak to and she assured me that there was not, she was in charge. Dealing with Amber Miller, the manager, is easily the number one reason to stay away from this establishment. For a facility the promotes wellness, its manager is the epitome of whats wrong in customer service. read more
