I like that they do a massage table prior to the adjustment; once you are relaxed the adjustment seems to be better. Not being a newbie to chiropractic care I took to Yelp to find one who would suit my needs - not all chiropractors are created equal, and certainly not all practice the way I look for. In chiropractors I look for: personalization to my specific issues, thorough diagnosis, layman explanations of what they think the problem is, someone who is willing to work with me on specifics that I want addressed (rack and crack if I want it), and above all a chiropractor who's goal is to get you better and get you out the door instead of trying to suck you into endless visits (like so many do). Yelp came through and I found LeGault! LeGault helped me work through back, neck, shoulder, and hip issues; some had been chronic like the hips, and others like my lower back had just sprung up. Everything about the experience had a personal feel and you could tell that he really knows/cares about his craft. There really is nothing like connecting with a good doctor, working together through a plan, tracking/feeling your progression, and, ultimately, starting to feel like I can manage the pain/issues. Every day, I deal with chronic back pain and a shoulder issue stemming from a past injury/surgery. I'll say that each time I went Dr. Dougherty provided personal attention, was attentive to my needs, and answered all questions with care. I did not feel rushed or a burden to his time. I know that sounds ridiculous, to have a someone that is performing a service that you're PAYING for, where you feel like a burden. How many times have you gone to the doctor, wait for an hour, only to be attended on for 3 minutes, and you can't get a word without feeling like you're asking for a personal tour of the White House? To me, that is key. I think there are a multitude of chiropractors that can perform the tasks, but how many out there will actually listen to your questions, give you the attention you are paying for, and make you feel like a valued client? Not many - but Dr. Doughtery is 100% one of those doctors. I do not say this lightly, as we all know personal care services are an extremely personal, but you need to see this doctor. He is the real deal. I am excited for my next appointment!
