My skin was very good to start with and microneedling was just for prevention and some plumping effects. I went 0.25-0.5 first time out of town and came to filer. They used 0.75-1 on my face. There were red flags along the way. First the aesthetician applied vitamin C serum and other actives on my face right after the procedure. Usually it's not really recommended. Should have said absolutely no to that. The treatment was very aggressive near my chin to the point I was feeling pain despite numbing cream for 20 minutes. I developed hyperpigmentation after the treatment after the bruising and irritation died down. When I called back and came back for reevaluation, they made it seem like it was my skin tone's fault. Yes I have at least a type 3 Fitzpatrick skin tone but this never happened with my other microneedling treatment and they should have told me to use tyrosine kinase inhibitor before the treatment if planning to go deep with the needle. They gave me a sample of vitamin C serum and they offered 25% off on the full size. The money I spent on this hyperpigmentation complication from the treatment was more than what I spent on the treatment itself. Now it's a month out and still hyperpigmentation has not faded. And now I only pay attention to the hyperpigmentation when I look in the mirror. It's so sad. I used to have near perfect skin.

Everything about the experience had a personal feel and you could tell that he really knows/cares about his craft. There really is nothing like connecting with a good doctor, working together through a plan, tracking/feeling your progression, and, ultimately, starting to feel like I can manage the pain/issues. Every day, I deal with chronic back pain and a shoulder issue stemming from a past injury/surgery. After an initial evaluation, Mike takes the time to describe the anatomy of the body so well and detail why the pain may be occurring. This portion of the process was just so helpful because it facilitates every follow up step after so we start working towards mitigating the pain. It always helps to fully understand the problem before developing a course of action. I wanted to wait to write my review because I wanted to go a few times prior to writing a review…read more There are too many times where you go to a place once, and they basically just want your business and are nice to you the first time only, and subsequent times you go you're basically $$ in their eyes. I'll say that each time I went Dr. Dougherty provided personal attention, was attentive to my needs, and answered all questions with care. I did not feel rushed or a burden to his time. I know that sounds ridiculous, to have a someone that is performing a service that you're PAYING for, where you feel like a burden. How many times have you gone to the doctor, wait for an hour, only to be attended on for 3 minutes, and you can't get a word without feeling like you're asking for a personal tour of the White House? To me, that is key. I think there are a multitude of chiropractors that can perform the tasks, but how many out there will actually listen to your questions, give you the attention you are paying for, and make you feel like a valued client? Not many - but Dr. Doughtery is 100% one of those doctors. I do not say this lightly, as we all know personal care services are an extremely personal, but you need to see this doctor. He is the real deal. I am excited for my next appointment!
