Had an excellent first visit here! I was able to request a consultation appointment online. Coleson called me the next day to set up the appointment. I went in for my appointment and the process was so smooth. Filled out paperwork, and after not much time to wait, they sent me back with the doctor. I understand that I had my credit card on file for my now ex-boyfriend, but I only intended to purchase the six month plan for him as a Christmas gift last year. We have since broken up, and we don't speak, for my safety, yet you have auto-renewed and charged my credit card without my consent for three months. Essentially, you have enabled a man that I no longer speak to, to use my card to steal money from me. Wow. I was so surpised by this place. I have been going to a chiropractor in Cocoa Beach for a shoulder issue, but I really hurt my lower back and couldn't drive that far, so I Yelped for chiropractors my area. The Joint is quite near my home, and they had a special for new clients, so I thought I would give it a try. Not going to lie, I was a little nervous when I read that the adjustment area is "right behind" the reception desk, but, I shop at TJ Maxx, so I'm used to "low frills." The adjustment area is actually not "right behind" the reception desk, but it is visible depending on where people sit in reception. A woman was getting adjusted when I came in, but I didn't really "see" what was going on and frankly didn't care. And when it was my turn, I cared even less. Dr. Dan is so, so, so good at his job. I walked in virtually crippled and walked out about 10 minutes later with 100% improvement. Dr. Dan did advise me that my pain would come and go, but I was so grateful for the relief that I immediately signed up for a 2 month plan. Four visits a month for $60! And extra visits are only $10! How can they stay in business? Maybe it's like a health club where people pay and don't go, but I will get 6 visits this month for the price of a little more than 2 visits to my old chiro. Truly, the price is great, but that wouldn't matter if the care wasn't first rate, but it was/is. Consider me a devoted client. read more

I went in hobbling and trembling from back pain and left feeling SO much better I could actually enjoy my day and not be thinking about the pain 24/7. What a relief. Jenny V is the absolute RUDEST front desk girl there is. She makes me not even want to come to this location. She tries to force you to buy the packages, and when you tell her no, she catches the worst attitude ever. One time, she aggressively slammed the pen down at my fiancé for him to sign the receipt after he turned down the 200$ package. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, until my younger brother came home today to tell me that she tried starting an argument with him over the packages after he tried explaining to her that it's not up to him because he's not paying for the visit, our father is. read more

I really like this place. They're really friendly, and they care about your health. They try to make it easy and fast (but not rushed!) to get in and out and you can get on with your day. That's made such a big difference for me with my job and school - before The Joint alot of times I would forgo getting adjusted because with other places it takes a lot more time. (I have a hip problem where they shift out of place and rotate and it really hurts, I'd go for days or weeks just HURTING but not getting anything done about it because I literally didn't have the time.) Dr. Dan is extremely proficient and friendly, as is his staff. I've been going to chiropractors for almost all of my adult life, and I can say with confidence that Dr. Dan is up there with the best of them. I'm a big guy and I have been to facilities in the past that will give adjustments that just don't work. I'm not sure if it's physics or leverage or what, but Dr. Dan has been seeing me since 2012 and I've never been disappointed. Additionally, I've never been a major proponent of the electric stimulation, heat and ultrasound bit. As a patient I've always viewed it as an unnecessary waste of time. The joint bypasses this, so you are in and out the door in about ten minutes and on your way feeling better. But I think that the MOST IMPORTANT aspect of the joint is between the affordable cost, friendly atmosphere and proficiency- when you sign up for an affordable maintenance plan, you're being seen regularly. I've always been told by all chiropractors the importance of being seen regularly, but at their prices, I could never afford to. Now, I just go every Wednesday and I'm not in constant fear that if my back goes out on me, my budgetary goals for the month are shot. This is the McDonald's of the chiropractic world. It's a franchise. The Dr there does have 10 years of experience. The prices are what lures you in. Just $20/adjustment or you can buy a monthly plan. I hurt my back and do think the chiropractor could help, against all the negative input about going to the chiropractor that I got from friends and family. They give you a scan card like when you go to the gym.. You get there and scan it and all your info pulls up on their computer, and the Dr knows you are there. No appointments. I couldn't get up for 4 days with a back injury. After 2 adjustments, I could at least get up halfway. I would recommend giving it a try. Only thing is you don't get adjusted in a private room. It's in a area behind the receptionist desk, so some people may not like that. You may not feel comfortable getting adjusted(you are in weird positions) while other people walk by. read more
