I've seen 4 other chiropractors in the past 2 years and although none of them needed to x-rays my back, I agreed, obviously. After the X-rays he stretched out my back advising for me to return in 3 days so he could look over my X-rays. Upon returning for my next appointment the receptionist advised that they are NOT in the Humana/ Medicare network and I owed them $125.00 and it would be another $50.00 if I wanted an adjustment today. There is no way that she didn't know that THEIR PRACTICE WAS NOT IN MY INSURANCE NETWORK and that I would have to pay for it out of pocket. My chiropractor copay is $15.00 if they are in my network. DR Baumbeck advised me that he's been on the waiting list for a few years now waiting to be added to the Humana/Medicare network. Now I see why his office was dead and Humana has not added him. I emailed the Humana Corporate office advising them of my experience emphasizing the fact that I was led to believe my visit would be covered by my insurance.
