This place is shit! Says it takes walkins, which is bullshit. Showed up at 630pm when the close at 7pm and got turned away. Because it was inconvenient for the chiropractor. Paper work took 10 to 15 min. If you want to have a successful business, don't turn people away when you're clearly still open. read more

I'm a 67-year-old woman I asked the chiropractor Jeff to please use the activator and not to manipulate or crack my back my back. He became verbally defensive in his tone of voice he said he does not crack backs. Or manipulate people. I meant only not to twist my body or use any kind of physical force because I've been on a long road trip and my muscles we're very tight and I didn't think it would be a good idea for me In regards to the positioning of my body. He used an extremely condescending tone of voice in the manner in which he also said he was trying to educate me! I felt very belittled when I left there I felt no relief in my neck I am writing this a day after, my neck still hurts and I still feel a bit shaken bye the verbal exchange .The only good thing I can say was the receptionist when I arrived and left was very nice. read more

Met with a terrible chiropractor last week. Witnessed some unethical behavior. The staff stands directly outside of the front door smoking. As I was walking out, the staff person was in the middle of spitting on the the ground. Stay classy guys. read more

A business more concerned with questionable ethics and practices with higher revenues less service and quality. Living with a bad decision to pay good money that could leave physical damage. Zero customer service, a company that I've given messages to including numbers and emails, not a single reply, and if you get in contact with a live person, you'll be mislead and very untrue information including wrong numbers and false job titles. All of this with witnesses and documentation.. Wishing fellow consumers better success in your experiences. read more

Rude and dismissive, more focused on selling packages than patient care. This used to be a good place for a quick adjustment but not anymore. read more

I cancelled my membership but I continue to be billed, called and texted. This location has stopped responding to my email communications as I was promised a refund. Incredibly unprofessional. read more

The front desk attendant was very friendly and quick to help. Dr. Devin gave a fantastic adjustment. I was having so much pain in my neck from just lifting my arms above my shoulders as well as looking up. After multiple adjustments and him constantly checking to see how movement felt after each adjustment I left feeling completely pain free. read more

I had a terrible pain between my shoulders. The chiropractor cracked my back and it sounded like a shotgun had gone off. I went home and took a whirlpool bath with Epsom salts and I am much improved! I bought a 6 pack care package. read more

Awesome staff! The Dr. Who works on a Saturday is very knowledgeable and listens well to your needs

Do not let them adjust your neck because I am messed up after this. Don't remember what the doctor's name read more

This place is a scam. They trick people into signing up for a plan. dont give clients refunds for crappy service and dont allow you to cancel without making you take them to court. They have taken $500 from me "legally" by getting me to sign a contract without fully disclosing the terms. Dont be fooled. Stay away from this snake pit. read more

UPDATE : NOT SURE IF THIS 'ALYSSA S.' Is even a real person. Ive messages giving all of my contact info but never heard back. Even messaged her a second time but to no avail. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE and shady af in their business dealings. I've been trying to cancel my package with them for 2 months now. I called again today and they are now on the 5th receptionist since I started this ordeal. No one returns my calls. No one is available to talk about the cancellation when I go in person. The receptionist is not allowed to give out a name or number of someone who can help. No office manager and apparently the receptionist does not have a boss. They have no problem continuing to charge my card. Just very frustrating and bad customer service....by all of the receptionists. This day I'm finally just giving my opinion here and am filing a payment dispute with my credit union. Sorry for lack of details but I'm just too pissed off to write a sensible review right now. I will follow up on the near future read more

Traveling again this summer so saw Dr Cam for the first time. Very pleased with the gentle adjustment and his technique. I'm used to chiropractors as I've have had back problems for many years and just this past few months have had to have Lumbar RFA and several lumbar/sacral epidurals. I've seen many chiropractors over the years and, specifically, used The Joint services for the last 3 years. So glad I stopped and saw Dr. Cam -- I'm good to go, on with the vacation. read more

Long wait (substantially longer than estimated), and a receptionist that couldn't be bothered to put aside her personal phone calls long enough to deal with any of the multiple people waiting. Really, really poor customer service. read more

Easy to get adjusted when you need it. But I find it frustrating because they switch out doctors constantly. My body just get used to one doctor and then they disappear. I really liked Dr. Olson but now he's gone too.... read more

By a quick count I have been to more than 20 chiropractors in my over 60 years of living. Dr. Wendy Shimer is in the top three and I say top three because those three are all number ones. I have to say I was skeptical at first because it seemed too much of a bargain. I went in because I was in desperate need of adjustment and my current chiropractor was out of town. What a pleasant surprise to find real help. Dr. Shimer is now the chiropractor for our entire family. She has helped each one of us feel better. We always feel welcomed by a smile and a hello from Shari when we walk in the door. Being recognized by name is such a rare thing anymore in business but much appreciated. I don't know how she remembers all the clients but I hear her greeting others by name too so I know it isn't just my family she takes good care of. One last thing I love not having to have an appointment. Being able to walk in when I'm free is just one more plus. read more

Made an appointment very easy, front desk was super nice and friendly and my adjustment went great. I felt some relief just as soon as I stood and I've never been to a chiropractor before. They also have super affordable packages. I definitely got one and have another appointment in a couple days. I'm very excited for the outcome and for much less back pain! read more

I was desperate with sciatica and went in. One visit and I can now walk, sit and sleep in comfort. Feels like a miracle to me

I SO miss Dr. Olsen. Had a new guy today (without being informed ahead of time) and his adjustment was abrupt, painful, lacked compassion, and lasted a total of two minutes. I won't be going back unless they can bring in someone competent and caring. read more

The chiropractor was lovely and kind and very informative as well as provided great care. However, the front desk girl with the red hair was unbelievably rude. I went in on 04/19 with severe hip pain and was told if I wanted to purchase the 4 for $79 a month I would get 3 for free. I was on a lunch break and running behind because the front desk girl (same person) was incredibly slow during the intake so I said I'd be back tomorrow and I asked if we could honor the 3 free. She said she would likely be able to. I came back today, 04/20 quite literally less than 24 hours later and purchased the 4 for $79 (which was a process because apparently no one trained on a sense of urgency). I asked about the 3 free. This woman rolls her eyes at me and says she can't honor that because people take advantage and don't come back for a month after their first visit (what? I went back less than 24 hours later). I asked if I could speak to someone about that. She rolled her eyes again and without saying a word to me went to speak with the chiropractor. She relayed the message that he cannot honor the 3 free because the last time he did that he "got in trouble with the big bosses" and then finished it with a snarky "so do you still want to be seen today?". I recognize these business are franchised, but please hire more competent front desk staff who are apt to the position. I'm sure she's lovely outside of the workplace but she is certainly not someone to hire for a patient facing position. I'm also appalled that the 3 free was not honored even though I was there 24 hours later. I'm already counting down the days to when I can cancel. read more

I have been giving this place a try again for about 3 months now and have seen maybe 5 different docs, only one of whom I was impressed with who didn't use a "one treatment fits all" technique. They seem to be having a problem with hiring someone permanent. I have decided to move on and called to cancel my package and was told that it was charged to my card already this month, and even though I have not and will not use it, I cannot get a refund. Even less impressed now..... read more

Dr. Christiansen gives the best chiropractic adjustments I've ever had! I have a lot of muscle spasms and trigger points which reek havoc on my joints and until I met Dr Christiansen had never found a chiropractor who could give me a full adjustment because my muscles are so tight. I actually drive 30 minutes out of my way a couple of times a week to get adjusted by him!! And I leave every time with a lot more range of motion and a lot less of the chronic pain that I've experienced for years. If you are like me and looking for a chiropractor who can work with the stubborn areas of your body, he's your guy!! read more

I give Dr. Shimer and the office staff five stars. I have been so happy with treatment given and the outcome of her adjustments. As for my one star rating that is directed towards owners/management. Do not count on any help if you do have a problem or are unhappy for any reason. You will receive a "tough luck" response from them and not even the courtesy of contacting you directly. Sadly will probably not return because, while I appreciate Dr. Shimer, I am not willing to give my money to a company that doesn't care about their patients. read more

I used to love going to this place, but eveytime I try and go, there is always a substantial wait. I was told in December they would be hiring mote doctors because of the need, but it doesn't appear so. I'll be finding a new place. read more

The guy who is the Doctor now is aweful. He is a used car salesman. I told him what I wanted adjusted and he started to ask me to keep moving up the chair until half my back was off of it. He had me reaching above me and when I asked why I was doing this he said he was checking my neck muscles and upper back muscles. I asked him scapula or romboids, which upper back muscles and he looked surpised I knew this Oh yeah I am a personnel trainer. Surpise. He told me my muscles were weak and I need to get a package to see him. Besides not doing what I asked he used tbis same test and sales pitch on the obviously not in shape lady in front me. I hung out and waited to pay my bill and guess what, same exact sales pitch on the person he was now treating. This guy is one step away from a law suit. Dangerous, greedy and not professional. read more

This business went down hill immediately when Dr. Wendy Shimer(who is now in north Longmont) left several months ago. Any positive reviews are from long ago when Dr. Shimer was there. I highly recommend that you stay awayfrom The Joint. The owners are very GREEDY and could care less about their customers. They will overcharge you and keep billing you even after you have discontinued their service. You have a choice and deserve much better care for your money than going to The Joint. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a doctor. He never introduced himself so i couldn't even tell you his name. I was supposed to get an exam, consultation and adjustment. I could barely walk walking in and the doctor was SO incredibly insensitive and rude. Poor customer service skills and thiefs. I have been going here for a few months now and I'm pretty satisfied. Yes, you get to experience different doctors. Yes, it's a quick, just walk in kind of thing. The last chiropractor I visited was minimum 1 hour each visit. SO frustrating. I don't have that kind of time, and this place works for me. Everyone is friendly, and I'm outta there fast. Most importantly I feel better afterwards! read more

The staff is very friendly and gets to know their clients quickly. I feel welcomed when I enter and as I leave. I also really really enjoy the adjustments. Dr Shimer is my favorite, but the others are good too. I've never had a long wait. I can usually just pop in and out in 10-15 minutes total, which is great. I wish they had a location in Lafayette - but I would probably still go to Longmont for Dr Shimer if she didn't change to the new office! read more

I went in at 6:30pm to get an adjustment on a Monday. They close at 7:00pm that night. This was my 1st time at this location. When I went in i was not met with a hellow or a smile. The lady that was behind the desk did not introduce her self. I think she was the chiropractor because of the DC on her shirt. She said as quoted " I do not feel comfortable taking a new client this close to closing. I can give u the paperwork so u can come back later." I tryed to express the amount of pain I was in but it did not madder to her. She did not even look at me as she was saying this. I have a regular chiropractor I see, I was just desperate for help and this is what I was told. I will never go back. read more

BEWARE!!! Stay away from this place. I've been adjusted by three different people at the Longmont location and have not had a proper adjustment yet. I was "sold" the package deal like an idiot I bought into it. The company's now refusal to refund me or willingness to allow for a transfer to someone who might use the remaining 7 visits has really shown me what this company is all about, which is padding their pockets, they don't care about the patients comfort or the patient at all for that matter. BEWARE!!! read more

Scam. Asked to have my extremely painful back adjusted. This idiot did something completely different leaving me in the same pain I walked in with. Then he told me to come back in a few days. Young fool who actually thinks he's a doctor. The visit before had a real quack. Adjusted my back and told me to ice it but only for three minutes. 3 minutes? Are you on heavy drugs?!! The joint is a scam disguised by a dressed store front and an idiot behind the screen. read more

This place got good reviews, and I needed something local with flexible hours and an affordable plan, so I gave it a shot. My first impression wasn't a good one, and it hasn't gotten better. First of all, when I emailed a question to The Joint because I was considering trying them out, I got a response that said, simply, "Yes." Are you kidding me? I should have taken that as a glimpse into their customer service and continued looking for a chiropractic provider. But, I gave them a chance anyway and went in for my initial consultation. When I arrived, I was given some forms to fill out and told to sit in a specific chair (although the waiting area was empty). I sat in a different chair instead because the sun was shining hot onto the other chair, and when I sat down I looked across the room where I could see underneath the other chairs in the office. Clearly, the place hasn't been cleaned in months. The brown floor is literally WHITE from the accummulated dust. There were fingerprints all over the tables in the waiting area, and gum wrappers on the seats. The receptionist was clearly flirting with the AC repairman who was talking to her. At one point I got up to give her my medical forms and I stood there, holding them out, while she glanced at me and continued her conversation. I am the least confrontational person you'll ever meet, but I also highly value customer service, so I actually stood there some more, with my arm stretched out, offering my paperwork to her. She actually told me to just leave it on the counter, with the service man standing right there! I said that since it has personal information on it, I would leave it for her facedown, but she didn't get the hint. And when the guy finally left, she played on her cell phone with the white cover for another several mins before taking my paperwork off the counter. Doesn't instill a lot of trust when your back care office doesn't demonstrate a concern for the security of your personal information. The exam and adjustment themselves were pretty mediocre. At one point I wanted to scream "I heard you the first 14 times!" when Dr. Wendy told me to "Keep ice on it." It was like a mantra and quite ridiculous. I said "yes, I will" I don't know how many times. sheesh. And...it hasn't gotten any better. I have been there three other times, in order to use the 4 visits per month that I signed up for. My shoulder issues seem to be getting better, so that's a plus. But the place is still filthy and if Shari would spend less time on her cell phone (she's been on it every time I've walked in) and more time straightening the office (and CLEANING it...sweep, mop and dust) then the overall impression of the place would be 5 stars. I think the entire atmosphere and experience would be better with a different person at the front desk, and if both drs (both of them have given me adjustments) would slow down just a tad and exhibit some concern. read more

They were good... a long time ago. Quality was tied to one chiropractor and one frontdesk person specifically. In the meantime: no consistent staffing, less experienced administrative staff. Pricing is not competitive at all anymore. They limit the tools and applications and the allowed time per client. Seriously deteriorated! There are much better choices in Longmont. read more
