I have been coming here for over a year now and have been exclusively treated by Dr. Dakota during that time. I was referred to the practice by a close friend who specifically recommended Dr. Dakota. I was last treated by a chiropractor in 2018. I came in initially because I was having severe and sudden onset back pain that was exacerbated by my job and long commute. The first visit, he was kind, knowledgeable, confident, yet relaxed. Great bedside manner! He makes me feel valued as a patient and checks in regularly to ensure everything is going well. Since starting my chiropractic adjustments with him, my body has felt immeasurably better. I can move through my physically demanding job with much greater ease and little to no discomfort. My son is the patient at The Joint. The location is very convenient. Its a very clean office but it isn't what you would typically see when you go to the doctors. My son goes as needed throughout the month. I pay a monthly fee, regardless of how often he goes (albeit I am sure there is a max per month). You check-in then wait either in the back or front area. The area where they work is an open area where 2 or 3 chiropractors work adjacent to each other taking care of the patients who come in for pain relief. It has made a difference for my son who has been having difficulty with his back. He is happy and in less pain so I am happy. read more

If you workout regularly and have occasional back issues, The Joint should definitely be in your weekly rotation. Anyone with back issues will appreciate what the doctors are doing here to help relieve pain and I swear this place has helped me go from barely able to walk on some days to almost immediately rectifying my issue and for that reason they are worth the monthly investment. I simply consider this place a necessity. The adjustments don't take long if you're going on a regular, but if you are having a specific issue they take a little more time to address it. They're now open 7 days a week. They have parking in the front and back of the facility and depending on the time of day and usually closer to closing you may have to wait as it can get crowded near the end of the day. read more

My first visit was good and I felt like the quality of care given was adequate, but the few visits after that disappointed me. They only spend about 5 minutes adjusting me and misdiagnosing my issues, ultimately creating more. My neck issues got worse as I went to go see them. I don't feel like the quality of care given is based on your needs. They also misinformed me about the payment planned I signed up for. I was under the impression I was only paying for one month, which is what I wanted in case I didn't enjoy the service. I understand it's in the form I signed but the receptionist explained it to me differently so I misunderstood. Now I have to pay another $70 for a service that I didn't enjoy and don't want to return to in case they continue to worsen my issues. Good chiropractor. Before you sign up ask all the questions they will not inform u of anything just so they can get the payment. I paid for a month and it came with extra sessions. I'm traveling and after a 6 hour car ride I needed an adjustment. I called ahead and was told the wait was about 8 people. With two doctors working I assumed it would move quick. I came in as a walk-in and filled out my paper work and sat for over 45 min. I watched the receptionist accept 3 people who had gotten there well after me while I waited. When I finally spoke up, I was told I was next. (But I still waited another 20 min) It took over an hour to be seen from the time I handed her my paperwork to the time the doctor saw me. If I wasn't in pain, I would of just left. Suggestions: manage your appointments better. You lose all credibility of a "walk-in" service when you cannot properly set expectations. There is usually a different doctor Everytime I've visited, and they were all very knowledgeable and helpful with my adjustments. They made after visit recommendations and helpful additional equipment that will help me maintain and ease my pain. I recommended the doctors I've seen Dr. Mason take the time to find all of the issues, even the ones unseen and Dr. Doe is very knowledgeable with muscle skeletal constraints and pain removal. The setup of this place is really cool. I had never been to a chiropractor but the employees here make the experience very calming and easy. They are incredibly knowledgeable of the subject matter. I was mostly intrigued by the friendliness, soon as I walked in I was greeted even though there were other customers there. The receptionist was kind and answered my questions with clarity and appropriate enthusiasm while I was on the way. When I got there I met Dr. Allen who was kind explained what she was doing and why. That's major to me when it comes to patient care. I decided to enroll in their monthly program and have returned and saw Dr. Allen mostly and two other providers. Everyone was kind and I've felt better after leaving. Short waits. They send out a list of the doctor's schedule my email each week so if you have a preference it's fairly easy to plan your visits when they're scheduled. read more

Only went here twice. Nice facility. Great front desk staff. Wait times weren't too long. First trip: Male chiro. Extremely nice. Genuinely concerned. Took his time with everyone...including me. Make me look forward to coming back. Unfortunately, I am on the road constantly, so 3 months pass (and $180 in monthly membership fees go down the drain) before I can make it back. This time it's "Dr. Jen's" turn. Female chiro. Rude. Impersonal. Dismissive. Robotic. Yeah...that'd sum it up. Here was the gist of our interaction: Her: Lay on your belly. Deep breath in. Let it out. Flip over. Try and relax. Okay you're done. Me: Is that it? Her: Yup. Me: I'm still extremely tight in the upper lumbars...can you try and get it to loosen up? You know, get it to pop. Her: (In a tone that sounded as if I'd just called her "Fatty") It's not about the pop. That's just fluid releasing. (Turns her back to me and acts as though I have magically evaporated from the room). That was IT. I'd been trying to get back in for 3 months...and I literally get less than 15 seconds...no relief, no interaction, and an attitude to boot. I can find much better ways to waste $60 a month. The doctors are good, but the wait on Saturdays is awful. It is almost always over an hour. They need two doctors on Saturdays. I signed in, got my hair cut, and have still been waiting for 45 minutes. My wife left when we were told an hour wait and went to Birkdale. They have 2 doctors. She has been adjusted at Birkdale and is now at home and I am still waiting to be seen at Mallard Creek location. When they tell you the wait time, double it. read more

I've been wanting to check this place out on the referral of a co-worker. I checked the website and read over reviews and found the best location for me. Today was the best day for me to visit the location. I arrived at the location at 5:44pm to my surprise the girl at the front desk tells me " we take our last first time patient at 5:30 and our hours our 10:00am-7:00pm." I replied I know the hours I've viewed them and nowhere online does it say new patients need to be there by a certain time. She didn't say anything thing else or check because it was empty. I had the worst pain in my right shoulder for all weekend, couldn't sleep or bend my arm. I moved back to the area & my previous chiropractor was fantastic but hard to get to from where we live & hard to get into because she's so busy. So I thought the multiple locations with the membership would be good for me given where I live & where I work & my chronic neck pain & headaches. Unfortunately I've had 3 different chiropractors at 2 different locations & only 1 (Dr Mason) has taken the time to actually take the time to assess & adjust the individual vertebrae that needed it. I've had Dr Allen more than once & while pleasant enough doesn't seem very skilled. I've actually come out feeling worse. I've not had Dr. Vang but you don't really have a choice in who you see. This is definitely a "turn & burn" business & generally doesn't provide the level of care I'm used to after many many years of chiropractic experience with several doctors in the various cities we've lived in. read more

I would give this place 5 stars but whomever is the elder receptionist of this location is no help whatsoever and rude, been here once before and have had a good time being greeted by a younger receptionist and treated a customer how they should. I have tried to get the care for my back and the elder keeps neglecting my visits multiple times because I have a voucher and "time." The point I'm getting is, the front of the lobby was not even busy, even the past few times I've visited at all and she keeps giving me smart ass answers. I have waited long enough and I'm a busy person, I try my best to make it on time before they close, and regardless whatever I say. Which makes no sense, I have had a membership there and the previous doctors have notes in the system. The location for Birkdale has provided me better service and was ALSO NOT RUDE, I have went there 15 minutes before they close and they were able to squeeze me in, even with my voucher that I have had. I hope whoever that person is give me a sincere apology, IF I EVER GO NEXT TIME. I'm not a first time patient lady, I know the hours ya'll close at. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Peterson. I was extremely skeptical about going to a chiropractor because my pain stemmed from my neck and the idea of "adjusting" my neck was a little daunting. I was convinced that my pain was my muscle tissue, but after 3 weeks of pretty severe pain and several massages, I decided to go to a chiropractor. I was overwhelmed with who to go to, but decided to go to Dr. Peterson after receiving multiple recommendations for her. I was VERY happy I chose Dr. Peterson. Not only was she extremely pleasant to speak with, but she was able to describe and locate my pain easily. She understood my hesitation and took her time to ensure I was comfortable. After she adjusted me, I felt instant relief! I was completely blown away by how well I felt afterwards! I was really impressed by her knowledge and passion for her job.
