The staff were polite and professional. This review is not about them. It's about the system they're required to run. I've been using chiropractors for over 20 years. I booked this office after being told the first visit would take about 90 minutes, which is normal. What was not disclosed is that treatment would not begin until the third visit, after multiple long appointments involving paperwork, imaging, scans, tours, classes, and videos. Visit one was intake, X-rays, a nerve scan, and a facility tour. No adjustment. Visit two was explained as another ~90 minutes for a mandatory "first-timers" class, review of results, and philosophical education. Still no adjustment. Visit three would finally be when treatment begins, after investing well over four hours of time. That level of time commitment and delayed care should be made clear before someone books. This feels less like healthcare onboarding and more like a sales and conditioning funnel. If you're an experienced chiropractic patient looking for straightforward care, this model is likely not for you. One additional concern: after the visit, I received a review request email that asked whether I was "happy." Selecting "yes" routes you to Google. Selecting "no" routes you to a separate site where the feedback is not public. That is intentional reputation filtering, not neutral feedback collection, and it reinforced my decision to walk away. Transparency matters. Respect for a patient's time matters. This office failed on both. read more

I wanted to try this place due to the high ratings I read online. I am a 70 year old woman living on SS and have gone to chiropractors for most of my adult life. I beleive chiropractic care has many benefits. Unfortunatley my experience with this group was not a positive one. It was a huge rigamoral (very lengthy and complicated) just to become a patient at Greater Life Chiropractics. I needed to watch a lenthy video with a gorup of other potential new patients and then listen to Dr. Grant talk to the group about the importance on chiropractic care. After that, each of us was called into a back room privately where the enrollment process and treament plan was explained. I was told that it would take numerous visits to complete the recommended treatment plan and that my insurance may not cover all these visits and that I would need to pay in advance for any uncovered visits. At the end of the day I ended up paying over $2000. I was told by Dr Grant that I could cancel this contract at anytime. After spending close to 2 hours that day I did not even recieve an adjustment. After several very short treatments I was not noticing any positve changes. Medicare was covering all visits in full. I decided to request my money back and Dr Grant expained to me why this was not a good idea. In the end he wished me good luck but I felt it was in a very angry way. Thankfully I was re-imbursed. In all the years of recieving chiropractic care I've never had to pay up front nor sign any long-term contracts. I really wanted to love this place as it has good reviews, and was within close proximity to my office. However, I called to get more information as I wanted to make an appointment for a prenatal adjustment (from now at the end of my second trimester, until the end of my pregnancy). The person who answered the phone stated that unfortunately that's not their process and I would need to follow the whole kit and caboodle of the scan, consultation, etc. etc. before I could even get adjusted. As someone who is on their 4th pregnancy and received chiropractic care throughout all other pregnancies, I was a little disheartened by this approach. I understand the approach if someone has ailments that they are looking for a remedy for and a treatment plan is critical, but I truly just want an adjustment in a regular cadence to ensure that the baby is in the right position. I would love to go back to my previous webster certified chiro, but she's all the way in Illinois where I moved from. She never pushed scans or a consultation. She truly understood what it meant to take care of a pregnant mom to set them up for an optimal birth. Like I said, I'm sure this practice is great for those who have actual ailments that need a long treatment plan for - but they just seem to miss the mark on prenatal care, and that's a shame because there aren't too many webster certified chiros in the area! read more

I'm not one to follow through on programs but I wish I found this place sooner. Yes it's expensive but what you get out of it is definitely worth it. I have some bad social anxiety but they make you feel at home here which I love! They're family friendly here so I can bring my baby and leave him with the staff up front and they love him. Cons: The timeshare-like sales presentation you go through before actually starting is not the most pleasant thing to sit through (especially the c-section you get the pleasure of watching). Went in with my roommate to sit through the new patient orientation and we both had really weird vibes about the place. We sat through the presentation then went in to have them talk about their x-rays and the plan they had in place which consisted of 60 visits for the year. My roommate decided to give it a shot because their back bothers them enough they're willing to try anything. After consulting their old doctor from another city, my roommate decided to cancel their plan. Make sure you set aside an hour if you want to cancel and make sure you're ready to say "no I just want to cancel" about 20 times. Also, if you do cancel, be ready for them to tell you for the very first time that the visits that you have gone to were actually more expensive per visit than the later visits so you'll owe more than you expect. I have other concerns about my visit but my biggest one is why would a doctor of chiropractics push, pull and turn my head prior to viewing x-rays? Update 8/2021 Still a happy patient here. I told Doctor Grant the other day that if I had to choose between him and my dentist I'd have to go with him. And I love my dentist. He's the best dentist. But having a shifting spine and a neck that has issues from falling out of hundreds of trees as a kid and competitive figure skating, my spine had been whacked about my whole life. So this has changed my life. We're made to believe that it's not necessary to adjust your spine unless you've had some injury and even then we are steered towards drugs and surgery. That's sick. That's a lie. We've been led away from what's right and true, to lies from the medical community, surgery and prescription drugs. What a shame so many of us have been brainwashed with the lies. I certainly was. Not anymore. The proof is in the pudding. I feel great and it's because I get adjusted every week. I am so happy to have found GLC. I honestly don't understand how this place couldn't get 5 stars!!! I have been going to Greater Life Chiropractic for a little over 2 years now and I absolute love everything about it; from the atmosphere to the staff. To be completely honest, I was a little apprehensive at first about coming to a chiropractor just because of what I saw on YouTube. I was a little terrified to say the least, but the staff at GLC completely turned that around. I had suffered from terrible migraines for as long as I could remember among other aches, pains, and health issues that I had going on. Not only was I made aware that I have scoliosis (which had never been made apparent to me by any other doctor prior to my visit to GLC), but I was further educated on how vital chiropractic care is to my health and well-being. Neurologically based chiropractic care became something that I never knew I truly needed. Within 3 months of consistent care, I went from having migraines 3-4x a week for years to practically never having them again, but the process doesn't just end there. To this day, I still get checked by the doctors at Greater Life Chiropractic at least once per week because I know that consistent chiropractic care is something that I need to do for my overall health for the rest of my life. I asked over email after getting an estimate if I could set up a plan to come in a few times a month to make it more affordable. Instead of telling me no, they tell me to set up an appointment and come in. Then they show me alternate plans that are all more expensive than my suggestion and that would leave me owing them a lot of money if I had to stop treatment. I do NOT believe that getting adjustments 3 times every month won't do anything. They want to pressure you into getting on one of their dumb plans so that you don't realize how much you're paying for the first few months. Apparently not having my business at all is better than me coming in a few times a month and just paying for service as I receive it. Edit- You were "bending over backwards" to help me by giving the same plans that would cost MORE. And when I sent an email asking if 3 times a month would be possible, I should have gotten an honest answer! HONESTY IS NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR!!! Maybe if the email response had been honest I would have been more open to your other plans but I have no respect for someone would can't directly and honestly answer a very simple, straightforward question. And you have already wasted a few hours of my time and you've proven that the alternatives you are actually willing to give me are the exact same plans over and over again. In the real world, people have to sometimes balance out the ideal solutions with the money in their checking account. But in a few months when I'm better off financially I'll give my business to someone else, whereas if you had been honest with me, I would have have probably come back to your business. read more

Do yourself a huge favor and definitely avoid this place. The chiropractors here are extremely unethical, dishonest, and shady. They will grossly mislead you about your health to elicit fear/anxiety and make you feel compelled to sign up for expensive and unnecessary care plans. I was originally introduced to Greater Life Chiropractic (GLC) at a local event where they offered a free cervical spine assessment. I thought the technology they used provided some interesting information and decided to come in to the office for a more comprehensive evaluation. The initial appointment took about three and a half hours and required an additional appointment that would take between sixty and ninety minutes to go over the results. After spending three and a half hours in the office, I had no interest in coming back for an additional session. Several weeks passed by and Dr. Grant Lisetor left a voicemail essentially saying that he discovered some abnormalities in my x-rays and that it was absolutely imperative that I come in right away to discuss my results. I called him back in somewhat of a worried state and he reiterated what had been said in the voicemail in an attempt to get me to come back in for another appointment. At this point however, I had moved out of the area and was unable to come in. I asked him if he could tell me what he discovered over the phone and he stated that he could not tell me anything because it would violate HIPAA laws (which is false). After pushing to hear more about what he discovered, he said the best he could do is to mail the information to a doctor where I was living after filling out a release of information agreement, which I promptly followed through with. The receptionist at GLC confirmed that they received the proper paperwork and that all of my medical records would be sent out within one to two business days. After approximately a week and a half, I called to check on the status of my records and the receptionist at GLC stated that it had not been sent yet. I asked her why it was taking so long to fax/mail the information, especially considering the fact that Dr. Grant made it seem so urgent. Her excuse was that "Dr. Grant had been working on editing the notes to make sure there were no typos." She went on to say that she was looking at the medical records and she could see why he wanted me to come in so urgently, and left it at that. A receptionist with my primary care doctor also tried to get in contact with staff at GLC. When the receptionist at GLC heard who was calling, she immediately hung up. The second time, the receptionist at my doctor's office was placed on hold for a very long time before she finally had to hang up. It became very evident that they did not want to send the results because my X-rays and notes likely did not align with the urgency and severity with which Dr. Grant originally expressed. I was tired of waiting for the information to be sent, so I set up an appointment with a radiologist. My suspicions turned out to be correct as I was told by the radiologist that everything typical and that there was no need for urgent medical care. When I called Dr. Grant back to discuss the results, he actually told me "I am not sure how much training a radiologist has in reading x-rays," in an attempt to discredit the conversation I had with the radiologist (which is absolutely absurd to me that a chiropractor does not know that a radiologist is a medical doctor specifically trained in reading medical imaging). After jumping through hoops to get my medical records faxed, I finally received and read over Dr. Grant's dictation and it provided further evidence that there was absolutely no urgent need for medical care. Dr. Grant is untrustworthy and unethical. He is willing to mislead people about their health in order to make a profit. I plan to pursue this matter further and report this information to his medical board because I am willing to bet I am not the only person that has been misled by Dr. Grant for profit. read more
