I've been a patient at The Joint for about three years and have always had great experiences -- in fact, I often tell friends that I've never had a bad adjustment here. Dr. Valerie, in particular, is excellent and truly skilled at what she does. Unfortunately, my visit today was disappointing. I was seen by Dr. Curtis, and the adjustment was the least effective I've ever had in over 45 years of chiropractic care. It felt like the strength, technique, and enthusiasm just weren't there, and I left feeling like I paid for a service I didn't actually receive. It might be time for him to retire. Overall, this location remains a good choice -- I've had consistently positive experiences with other doctors -- but I will personally avoid Dr. Curtis in the future. They actually made me worse ... And then to top it off I am a snow bird and went back home to Wi , and they continued to take 69.00 out of my account for the next 2 months. Came in to get a quick adjustment and receptionist informed me they are under new management. She called the new manager and said, "we let it slide for so long but we aren't accepting the Yelp $10 off anymore." She offered a package of other services but I'm not interested. I come in when my body lets me know it's time to come in. Sad to find another place that values their customers. read more

Front desk girl (Matta)l is super rude not only when you call but when you come. She has inappropriate conversations at the front desk. Valerie is constantly breaking HIPPA by telling other patients and employees business to other patients. Complaints go unaddressed by corporate. An absolute joke. Once I called a nice lady answered can't remember her name it start with a D, maybe Denise. Not sure! read more

wow i cant say enough about dr valerie. i had been in serious pain for 11 days when i went to see her. 2 trips to my regular dr, 1 to urgent *6 shots in my head and 2 on each hip, nothing worked i don't think you would believe me if i told anyone it was a miracle she worked but i feel like it was. i will never see another chiropractor and recommend if you are in need of an excellent dr go she her. besides being an excellent dr , she was caring and really took time to talk to me. thank dr valerie. truly you are a blessing the way you help people. thank you sooooo much! read more

this place was ridiculous . their forms were on tablets that didn't work. their lobby was a mess. and their staff were not helpful. if I could I'd give it zero stars but to leave a review you have to have at least one star. don't go here, don't recommend this place to others. read more

If you're a women I would honestly take your business elsewhere. I tried to address an issue I'm having that their website says they can do and the chiropractor basically wrote me off. He told me I need to lose weight and kept looking at my stomach after saying that. I told him I had a baby about 6 months ago and he quickly switched his answer to me just being postpartum. As he was talking about other ways I can get more in shape he mentioned portion control. I feel completely gross about my body now. I never viewed my body as being horrible and had lost my baby weight very naturally and continue to do so. I have the mom pouch still and am working to get rid of that, but I don't think they needed to point anything like that out on my body. read more

Called to bring my husband in as new patient as he is in a lot of pain. They told me to be there by 6pm and they could see us. Walked in the door at 6pm exactly, no one was up front, the receptionist came out a few minutes later and told us now she didn't know if he could see us, she would ask the doctor, came back out and asked us to come back tomorrow at 10am. Was painful for him to get in and out of car, drove 20 min each each for nothing. read more

Please be careful here people!! They do NOT take xrays and cannot possibly treat back injuries without. Treatment is a public environment where people watch your treatment, can hear all private HIPAA covered discussions. This is a subscription service like a gym membership NOT a true medical treatment by a chiropractor. Avoid this as far as we are concerned. Some people NEED a crack now and then and consider it convenient but if you are looking for a correction to a problem, forget it. read more

I was told by friends that Dr John is the best so I drove all the way from Mesa to Casa Grande. Great first visit. Dr John was great. He helped me and adjusted me with no pain and I left feeling great. I will be following up with my treatments from Dr John. Long drive for me but it's worth it! read more

Dr. John McDonald is the best chiropractor I have found in the area and I've tried several. I have fibromyalgia and I usually hurt after any chiropractic session but the Doc knows what he is doing and is very gentle with me. He takes my fibro into consideration when he is adjusting me and he knows my limitations. Some things you just can't do with me. His office is beautiful and very spacious. He has been in the business for many years and when he decided to open his own place I was super excited. Trust me, if you need chiropractic help this is the place to go. read more

I have never had an adjustment before. Then I found myself in some serious pain. Sitting was unbearable and everything hurt. I was not expecting so much relief from one adjustment. I literally got in my car and cried because I felt so much better. Front desk was so sweet, clean office, Dr was knowledgeable and talked me through every step of the way. He also advised on general spine health and aftercare. I would definitely recommend this location and I will be returning for sure. read more

I had high expectations for this Dr. Unfortunately he just didn't do it for me. I have frequent sciatica pains and have been to a few different chiropractors. He did a basic stretch in each side of my back, cracked the neck and that was about it. Upon further research, I found that he does this to 90% of his patients, even those that have different problems than I do. I followed all at-home care he told me to do and I have not seen a difference in the month I've been going to him. Very clean office, nice and friendly staff but none of that really matters if the job isn't getting done. read more
