So the Chiropractors themselves here are pretty good if you need a quick adjustment. The customer service and business side are poor. This review is specific to this location. I went in a few minutes before they apparently close for lunch and was immediately told to come back after lunch since they didn't have time to get to me. I'd suggest they lock the door at whatever time they intend to close off patients, but at least finish who they have in the lobby. The sign says 2 PM and I was there prior. This tells me that the 30 minutes I spent going to and from the place was way less important than the 3 minutes (max) they would have spent adjusting me... for $40 no less. I won't be buying another group of visits or coming back again. I prefer to be treated with respect and know that I matter. read more

I see Dr. DeVries and Dr. Serio. They don't take insurance but we don't mind because the package price even with extra visits, which I need, is cheaper than my insurance co-pay. Both Doctors are spot on with my specific needs and I have to say I feel pretty amazing after they adjust me. I have some special issues, not uncommon, but unique to me. The down side is that they often only have one doc in and it makes for a long wait. The front office is nice, but kind of a revolving door so they really don't get to know returning patients. I think they should work with new patients who have to fill out paperwork in a more private area. They ask health questions in front of those waiting and it's uncomfortable for them as well as me. Most importantly a big shout our to Dr. DeVries and Serio. They are the only two I will see. read more

On 06/23/2020 I went to the Buckeye location to be adjusted. I was not satisfied with the adjustment I received. My neck was stretched both ways for approximately 30 seconds then adjusted with no movement, I was then told the consultation was complete. I then asked if I could have my back adjusted and was told it was already done, so I asked to have my lower back adjusted and was told to lay on my side again no movement. I was then told to stand and hand over my wallet, hesitantly I complied. My wallet was placed on the ground and I was told to stand on it with my right foot to demonstrate what happens to my lower back when I sit on my wallet for long periods of time. I was disgusted at the fact my wallet was placed on a dirty floor then awkwardly told to step on it. I contacted corporate and I received a call from a Regional Manager "LUZ, MAYA" and she stated The Joint does not give refunds and a service was "rendered". Unless you just want to give away your money, stay far away from The Joint! read more

Especially if you are a senior...they don't want to "deal" with Medicare so they just sit there and placate you until you leave. The so called Doctor they have there was so rude to me that it drove me to write this review. I ended up having a wonderful and very helpful adjustment with Dr Lynch at Buckeye chiropractic off Watson! To the response... I would have paid out of pocket so this had nothing to do with Medicare rules. Your business only wants people that require minimal adjustments or maintenance so you can bill their insurance! I've worked from home for over 10 years and have seen a chiropractor occasionally for my lower back pain. I have been here several times with the same female chiropractor. While, I have not used these tables that seemed to take the place of manual manipulation I was ok with them because it seemed to do the trick. I injured myself working out, rt hip area that was causing everything to be off. I saw the female chiro second day of injury, she let me know she would NOT be there. The following day I saw an older chiropractor. He adjusted me three times at this visit and the pain was NOT better. I am aware of how chiropractic care works and wasn't expecting immediate relief. What I was NOT expecting was him to try and steam roll me into buying a package. He could clearly see that I was in pain and wanting to leave. He continued to badger me even after me telling him I do not mind paying $45 per visit, which is what I have always paid to go a chiropractor that is not a chain. Telling me I would save $66 and I said I do NOT care about saving $66. What I care about is how insensitive you were. Needless to say, I will NOT be coming back to any "Joint" facility. There is absolutely zero reason for anyone to not be able to read the room. Side note, He looked at my history and mentioned how infrequently I come... I said to him, "because I do not need to. I know when I need to come and see a chiropractor because I have been for years." This is the typical salesman and I would rather pay $100 per visit then ever deal with someone trying to sell me a "package." What I learned... Find a chiropractor!! Chains are not personable and the bedside manner doesn't exist. read more

Overall love the Joint, and the Doctors that work at this location are great. What keeps this location from getting 5 stars is that it's so difficult to get in. It's always packed with patients, small waiting area with every seat taken, and that's if you can even find a parking spot at all. Parking lot is way too small for the amount of traffic into the businesses sharing it (and there's still another business not yet open so it's going to get even worst) so many times I drive through the parking lot and have to give up since there is literally not a single spot... Unless I want to park literally across the street/ 800+ yards away. And to wait 30-40 minutes for the adjustment on most days just doesn't fit for someone with a packed schedule. So unfortunately about the 75% of the time I try to stop by this location I end up not going in and having to find time later in the week to get into another location that is practical. read more

I had SO MUCH shoulder pain (both sides), and it had become chronic. I was ready to try (but not guaranteed that they would help) cortisone shots and made an appointment to do so, but I had to wait a full week for that appointment. In the meantime, my husband suggested I go to the chiropractor. I remembered in the past how much they had helped me many years ago when I fell down a staircase. So I went to The Joint Chiropractic on Watson in Buckeye. Within the first day of treatment, I was sore and tender from the treatment, but nothing like the pain I had been experiencing prior to going! I was enthusiastic. I went back for a second and a third treatment. I am so happy and pleased with this business, especially Dr. Carpenter! My pain, which had become a nine on both sides, was now a 1-2 on the left side and about a 3 on the right side. I am now sleeping so much better at night! Thank you Dr. Carpenter! My issue was moderate to severe pain for 5 days in my hip. I was in town for a short time and was seen quickly after arrival at the clinic. After several "adjustments" I got up to walk and the pain was sharper than before. I was told to "walk down the hall and it will get better." Shortly after that, some of the pain subsided. The provider initially seemed to care about my pain and said he'd like to see me the next day to "follow up." At check out, I was hit with of menu of continuing care options and prices. I explained I was going back to Colorado and the sell continued. I left the clinic and after 10 minutes, the pain increased and I could barely walk. I went home, iced the area and slept for maybe two hours. I went back early the next day and explained the pain had worsened. After another very painful "adjustment," I was told to seek medical care in Colorado. As I started to leave, I was told I needed to pay for "another adjustment." I explained my original pain had worsened, not gotten better and my hip was still hurting. I asked why I had to pay again and the provider walked away and stated I had to deal with the receptionist. I was in the office less than ten minutes the second day. I am in the medical profession and saw patients for over thirty years. This is not how people are to be treated. My money was more important than relieving my pain. The focus at The Joint is clearly on marketing and selling future treatment rather than immediate or partial pain relief. read more

I found this place on the first day it opened in Buckeye. I had just moved here and hurt my neck. I was so desperate I walked in and found they had a good deal for walk ins. Dr Keszler was very kind and asked me a lot of questions I suppose suspecting there was more which there was. I have been suffering from a painful mystery nerve condition for the past year. After dozens of doctors and tests I was no better and just tired of trying. She asked if she could try some things and I figured why not. After checking me out she did some adjustments and I felt a little better. I decided to keep working with her. It's been about a month now and I am slowly feeling better. I am beginning to get my life back. She always encourages me and listens to me. I'm so grateful I found her and this place. The staff is always so kind and they make me feel so welcome.
