I was in there for literally less than 5 mins including signing in and paying. I've been to other locations and the doctor takes the time it to loosen up the muscles before making adjustments. I came in specifically because my neck and upper back muscles were so tight that they were giving me a headache. There wasn't even anyone else there that might have made her in a hurry. I feel worse than before I went in. She just aggravated the muscles even more than before. I'm sure I needed an adjustment but if she had spent even 5 mins warming up the muscles I wouldn't be in the tremendous amount of pain I am in now. Waste of money. read more

Dr Meuth is the new Chiro in town here. His wife is the receptionist too. That's is a nice working relationship. My huney and I work together too ( Trucking tho). I haven't had an adj in about two weeks! So I was pretty desperate. We were passing by going north on the hwy towards St Louis and this was right off the hwy. it's next to Petsmart and near Ross on that side. I was greeted at the desk by the couple. He even looked at my chart while I stood there and he noticed I was from Washington State. Usually people that look at the chart see where I signed up at which is Tampa FL! So kudos to the DR! Back to the table I go and he asks where my trouble is. Well pretty much everywhere lol. Low back shoulders and neck. He did a really good adj on me and I'm thrilled. My checks are flushed with blood rushing into my head from my neck adj!! I think I got my Back BACK ( sign outside) lol. I have bookmarked this location and will come again when near. I love being on the monthly program too. Makes it easy and it's well worth the investment. Cause I deserve it. He Well I'm back driving thru June 19 and Dr Emily is in duty. Wow I got in first thing. Perfect. The other Dr is in a private practice in Kansas City now. Dr Em did a great job on my sacrum! Whew that always gets tilted. Damn truck ! Haha. Part of the job. She did a bit of activator on my right shoulder too. It's been hurting in my collarbone area. I yanked it once getting out of the truck and screwed it up. Hope this will help. My gf and I moved to Arnold from Edwardsville. Luckily, there was a joint office in Arnold, so we extended our Family Plan and kept going. For the first month everything was great. The main doctor, Dr. Dicus, is awesome, he's why this place has two stars in my review, but the ladies at the front desk are just about inept. Sure, they can log you in, tell you what's due and when, but they cant keep billing methods straight or seem to get updated cards for us to scan in with. After the second headache here, when we had zero in the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon office, I'm done with The Joint. The good service in the back wasn't worth the piss poor service in the front. read more

I joined The Joint in Arnold and have popped (pun intended!) in at a few other locations. Every doctor has his/her own style of adjusting, and I've had great experiences with each doctor. If you're scared of seeing a chiropractor because of your bones being manipulated, try it anyway and ask for a gentler approach, which may include stretching and the use of a tool called the activator. I personalize my adjustments. I ask for "drop table for low back, bear hug for mid back, and stair stepping for neck." Ive learned what works for me through trial and error. I'm in and out in several minutes and feel renewed. All the desk staff I've encountered have been wonderful. The Arnold owner was at the location when I joined. Nice guy! read more

My recent experience at the Joint Chiropractic was amazing. The front desk girl was so friendly and knowledgeable, we ended up speaking about my particular back pain issue for quite some time. She was not just your typical receptionist, she clearly had medical training and consulted her answers with Dr. Patrick; who was awesome at the actual adjustment process.
