I am 5'11 250lbs and had sever lower back pain... I could not stretch it out on my own, but Dr. Leslie fixed the issue. After one appointment, I could tell the issue was better. She explained that my right hip was rolled forward causing my right leg to be shorter because it was pulled in at the hip. She relaxed that hip amd made other adjustments in my back and neck as well that all helped. No more pain when bending down or standing up from a seated position. I get why this facility has a bad rating. The chick at the front desk is a a lot to be desired. She doesn't listen. She's a piss poor listener and she's too busy telling you what she has in her agenda not listening at all never will I go back here again!!!! they replace her I might consider it. All she cares is when she ask a question you're honest and you say yes it was an auto accident. It was two weeks ago over two weeks ago and I didn't move. All she cared about was it was my fault or not and then I said I didn't move. I didn't get hurt. I've slept incorrectly. Oh no, we can't do that. Well, what is your point in being in practice? I have been here on and off for years and have never had an issue with an appointment or new paperwork it was always quick and easy. I arrived at about 5:15 pm as they advertise they close at 7. I came for a simple maintenance adjustment. They had another patient coming in, which I completely understand but then the room was empty. What I don't understand is being told I had to complete "new patient" paperwork that would take 45 minutes. I left pretty disappointed and went to another Joint location on another day where the same paperwork took me less than 3 minutes to fill in. I won't return to a business that misrepresents their process -- telling customers 45 minutes for something that takes less than 5 minutes is absurd. read more

If you want a five dollar car wash style chiropractor this is your chiropractor. I used to drive my mother to the chiropractor from time to time and she would have me come in and get cracked myself. This was at least 10 years ago so I know prices are more expensive but he only used to charge like 30 bucks. I remember I would go in there and he would put a hot pack on my back and after I relax he would do electrodes and after that he would pop me. That's the chiropractic experience I remember. The joint is a completely different experience. This place feels more like those five dollar car washes your drive-in and you drive out in less than a couple minutes. I understand they're cheap so that's understandable but at least let my muscles relax for a couple seconds before you start cracking me. Usually by the time I lay down I'm out of there in about less than two minutes. I came here because it was cheap and I actually tried it out multiple times. I bought whatever program they sold me and then if I didn't use them fast enough after the year, they essentially stole them. This happened to me twice after the first time this location did this to me. I decided to go to the happy Valley. my visits also expired at this location, but they gave me an extra two months to get them used up. One day I went there and they were closed so I went back to the 59th location and without saying anything they sent me back and cracked me and as soon as I was done, I went to the front desk and they charged me 40 bucks. I explained to them that the other location was going to honor what I paid for and gave me a certain amount of time. On top of that, if they were going to charge me, why didn't the lady say something before they sent me back? Deception is no way to do business. read more

So...I saw TL the ad on Facebook for their introductory special of $29 and figured I'd give it a shot. Omg...so glad I did today. The gentleman at the front desk is very warm and friendly. He ready set the tone for a good experience. Dr. Michael took me back and explained everything in detail so I would understand and I appreciate the no pressure sales. When he got to my neck...I was soo happy, it felt amazing and I felt a lot of tension release. He worked my entire back and I feel loose and relaxed. I went in for a simple adjustment due to some moderate stiffness in my neck. The receptionist made me go home to get my ID for which she never checked after I went all the way home and back to get it. I was told it would be 40min wait but I waited 2 hrs to be seen (apparently you can't make an appointment) but ppl were walking in and being seen ahead of me. I finally get seen and the chiropractor refused to adjust me. Told me I need a real chiropractor and referred me to another chiropractor. I was confused and politely asked him if he could please adjust me and he still refused. Felt like i was in the twilight zone.. read more

My husband went it for a one time fix and unknown to him thru there key pad they signed him up for monthly charges 59.00. We NEVER got a call when there were insufficient funds or to schedule anything. Jessica in the front office said basically it wasn't her problem because she's new and it was done before her we signed up to stop the payments and she took another payment 9 days later!! They've been taking payments out for a year and I want my money back I have filed with Better Business Bureau and if I need to I will go to three on your side! I drive down to Sun City Az. , twice a year. I use The Joint regularly, this tripI was particularly out and in pain. I went to the office off of Northern exit next to I-10 Hwy. I was seen by Dr. Ami, she adjusted my back and did such a good job of getting everything in even my ribs that other Chiropractor's had been working on with out success. I made an appointment for my brother and I to be seen 2 years ago. he had shoulder pain from a job, for a handful of years. I have back pain, and other sorts of body pain. more than 20 years. When we were seen, we saw the same guy. In the end, he hurt 2 ribs on me, and hurt my brothers back, when he did his adjustments the guy never told us to breath in/ when to breathe out, he was missing a lot of steps, he ended up hurting us both, when I called to complain about this, they never even offered to pay me back, they were more protective of the so called chiropractor doctor, than being concerned about the lack of him doing a great job. this was around Jan/Feb of 2020. That this all happened. Shame on this business. I definitely do not recommend any of the joint chiropractic care centers. read more

It is unquestionably difficult to find a chiropractor this good... Truly a hidden gem right here in Glendale! This place is wonderful. I cannot say enough good things! They are affordable, have convenient hours, and an awesome staff. The team at this location is superb! The first face you see, Dillon, is always friendly and welcoming. The office is clean and inviting. Dr. Carol has great knowledge of overall wellness in addition to being a talented chiropractor. Her intuition on what is hurting and where is pretty amazing. Along with manipulation, Dr. Carol can advise on rehabilitative exercises to work on - in conjunction with the adjustments to accomplish overall wellness. Any great doctor will tend be very busy with many patients. Even so, I feel that Dr. Carol somehow finds a way to give her time and attention generously to each patient. Great service! I was happy with the service for several years. I hadn't been seen for several months. I walked in today and I was told my the doctor that "we don't seen people who are disabled." After discussing my health and disability issues in front of the 3 people in the lobby, I was told because I had a history of being a "good patient" that I would be seen. What happened to Dr Brian?....we used to love this office, but now it seems like the patient is just a name on the screen. After Dr Brian stopped working here, the service has declined and the new doctor is nice but his substitute for Mondays is horrible. Avoid going in here Mondays if at all possible. We had our 8 year old boy with us, and normally if one of our kids needs a quick adjustment the doctor would lovingly adjust and attend to their needs as part of mine and my wife's monthly plan. Now it seems they will refuse service when a child is in pain, just because he isn't the one on the plan, even though we would have been happy to pay for the treatment. We will never return, especially on Mondays, since the part time doctor is not good at all. Please tell me where Brian went, I will drive across town to see him again. read more

It has been a process because of how tight my muscles have been, but he is getting me back into shape. I didn't have the best experience coming to this location. But I decided to give it another try when I didn't have enough time to get to my normal location. I must say the experience was completely different! My adjustment was exactly what I needed and I ended going back 2 or 3 days later for another adjustment. I wish I could give this company as a whole less than 1 star. I reached out to the corporate office several months ago due to some issues I was having with 2 of their office locations, the 59th Ave. office being one of them. I waited and waited and never received anything other that a confirmation that they received my complaint. I reached out a few more times and still never received any type of response from their customer service department or their corporate office. One month ago I reported my issue to the Better Business Bureau and was advised when the corporate office receive the BBB complaint. It has now been several weeks and The Joint corporate office has made no effort to respond to the communications between the BBB and them. Clearly they do not care that some of their "chiropractors" are doing harm to patients and that their customer service/receptionists are clearly lacking in policies/procedures/customer service skills. Shame on this company for not taking responsibility for their employees actions and doing physical and monetary damage to clients. read more

I've been going to the 59th and the101 location for almost three years. During the week I see Dr. Nick. I go every week and it makes a huge difference. Dr. Nick is great. We talk about everything from golf to new houses, ISP and streaming services. Like visiting family when I go. Highly recommend this location. read more
