I am very happy to have been referred to The Joint from a friend of mine. I have seen them all over the place, but had never really considered going in -- not sure why? My friend goes to the Draper and Sandy location primarily, and he says the doctors there are excellent and very attentive. After my initial visits, I may go try those locations to see what the doctors are like, but the AF location is way more convenient for me. It's really nice that all your info transfers to each location so you don't have to start all over again at each location. Chiropractors are my fave type of doctors, and I had been going regularly up until this January 2021. I moved here in January 2021, and I tried going to new chiro Dr. Ryan with Rekover Chiropractic in AF, but was discouraged by the amount of money he told me it would cost to "cure" -- yes, CURE -- me, aka $2k. I never went back after my second visit. Since it's been 3 months since my last visit, the pain returned and affected my daily life. Luckily my friend told me about The Joint (by chance), and I happened to get a FB notification that they're doing a new patient special for $29 for the first visit. What a steal! I thought, why not? I got a text the day I inquired, so I was able to set up a first appt. that afternoon. Hallelujah! This location is less than 10mins from my place, and the parking is super easy -- right out front. The lovely young man working the front desk was so friendly and helpful. I filled out some forms and admired the cleanliness and comfort of the suite. The adjustment tables (4?) are in an open room in the back, but you can see them from the waiting couch. It wasn't awkward though, surprisingly. There were a few other people in and out while I was there, but it is clearly a streamlined process. I was called back to chat with Dr. Miller right away, and he took the time to ask me pertinent questions, and I felt like he really listened to me, taking notes as we spoke. I didn't feel like Dr. Ryan with Rekover really cared and was super rushed both times I saw him, so this was a pleasant surprise. The Joint only offers manual adjustments to keep the cost affordable which I am totally cool with (no X-rays, blood work, massage guns, etc.). I quite enjoy them and feel they're immediately effective. Dr. Miller was able to help me with my hips, my "shorter" left leg, my back and neck. I felt so free, it honestly changed my week. He then took the time to point out what he had just done on the model spine they have on display. Amazing. He patiently answered all of my questions, provided some at home care suggestions, and suggested I come back 2x per week for 2 weeks, then 1x per week for 12 weeks, then reassess. The monthly membership cost is only $69, which is pretty much what I was paying out of pocket for ONE appt. back in Oregon before I moved here. This monthly fee covers FOUR visits a month (AMAZING!!! I was only able to afford one appt. every 3 weeks), and the wonderful front desk gentleman gave me an extra 3 visits to be able to cover the initial visits this week and next. I didn't even ask him to do this for me, he just did it! He also took the time to explain the schedule and that moving forward is all walk-ins, no appts. This is pretty convenient, and I did not wait long at all for my 2nd appt. today. I feel much relief after seeing Dr. Miller this week, and I am so grateful to have found The Joint. It is already changing my attitude and lifestyle for the better, and I definitely want to continue my membership so I can keep improving my physical health. Much thanks!! read more

I've been going to the American Fork UT location for about a year. I have the monthly plan and try to use all 4 visits. Dr. Miller and the receptionist are lovely and have been very friendly and welcoming. I always leave feeling so much better and am grateful for the pain relief! I do go frequently for Maintanence but I am able to get additional help for random pains that come up. I do enjoy being able to go to other locations when I travel as well. I used to think that this was a good chiropractor... That is, until I saw a different chiropractor from Their South Jordan location... They blow these guys out of the water! This was my first visit with a chiropractor so I didn't now what to expect. I'm glad I experienced someone new so I now know how my money is being spent. I've been going to chiropractors for years and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I woke up with shooting pain in my lower back so I went in because I knew they are open for walk-ins. I paid $39 for a walk-in and the doctor saw me for 2 minutes. He looked at my chart which hadn't been updated for over 6 months and asked how I was doing with those recommendations. I said, I don't know but it's my lower back that is in pain. He didn't ask anymore questions and went ahead with adjusting my neck. Even though I had just said that isn't my problem, my lower back is in pain! After 2 mins he was finished. When I asked, "what about my back which is in intense pain?", he said "Ice it and you can come in again tomorrow." All I could think was, no way. Why would I pay another $39 for you to do nothing tomorrow. You didn't even assess what was wrong. I have been to a couple Joint Chiropractics before and I wasn't overly impressed any time but this was by far the worst. I walked out of there wondering what I even paid for. I have been a member for at least 2 years and love my weekly adjustments.. So happy with the regular chiropractor Dr. Miller.. For me with my neck sometimes it hurts more before feeling better and the more you relax the better it goes. It's better then constant pain. So grateful for affordable and reliable care. I was in so much pain from whip lash associated neck pain, low back pain, and sciatica-which requires some additional physical therapy to get under control. I have enjoyed the American Fork location. I've now been going for 3 months. For reference, I have been going to chiropractic physicians since I was in elementary school. So 30+ years. Although the adjustment time is quick the Dr. takes time with me to give advice, explanations, and at home exercises. His style at first was slightly different than what I was accustomed to but I feel so good now that I have come to appreciate his methods. His neck adjustment method is now my favorite. Another key benefit for me is the later evening hours and Saturday office hours. read more

This place is a total SCAM!!!!! My husband was looking for a chiropractor that he could see after work and on Saturdays. Although, The Joint is extremely convenient, that is where the service ends. After signing up for a "month-to-month" membership in October of LAST YEAR, my husband decided to cancel his membership ending in December. Fine. Great! Here it is June, and I'm still being charged $69 every month. So I decide to call and get to the bottom of this, after all, this had been cancelled in December. Diego took my call. He kept telling me that the cancellation paperwork was never filled out. ???? It can't be filled out if it has never been given! My husband was never informed he had to fill any paperwork out. You can clearly see in your charts, that he hasn't been back since, so a monthly membership is useless. Diego kept referring to the membership paperwork. Well Diego, that's nice and all, but this is theft! I have not given The JOINT my permission to charge a card with MY NAME on it continually for the last 6 month. I DID NOT sign the paperwork. So therefore, you CANNOT KEEP CHARGING MY CARD. I still have yet to see the "2 months" refunded, and I most likely won't get a call from your supervisors "within 3-5 business days". I will call you everyday until I hear from your supervisors. read more

Very unprofessional and rude staff. Dr. Tripp (sp?) refused to see my son even though he was in pain and waiting to be seen. There were ZERO other people in the office and office hours didn't close for another 10 minutes. I could SEE him around the corner into the open area. He refused to even take a few steps around the wall he was behind to look at my son's wrist. I was more than willing to pay him even for 5 seconds of his time. Ridiculous. I would never send a child away hurting and hide around the corner of a wall. read more
