However, the main reason why I was so drawn to this place and jumped at the opportunity to get on the schedule was/is because they offer Gua Sha, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), and cupping. The front desk fella, Jase, is super friendly and personable! He made sure I got on the schedule w/who I was looking to see as he felt my desperation into getting some relief. I am pretty paranoid when it comes to someone handling my body post surgery (due to skin sensitivity, previous surgeries on the same area, and just trauma from previous injuries). I just had my fifth surgery on the same knee, and needed to seek out a HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY trained professional, who would be attentive to my paranoia, who has extensive background experience in aiding patients post surgeries with their long, often SLOW recovery. Enter Paul O. When I met him, I knew he was the right massage therapist for me. Upon my very first visit with him, he wanted to know my extensive/detailed past injuries and surgeries so he can comprehend where I am at with this fifth surgery and create a plan that will aid me in my recovery journey. It was so nice to be able to connect with someone who can understand where I have been and where I am now, in regards of physical injuries, past surgeries, affecting the mental as well as emotional aspect of my life. From there, with every visit, he has been very determined and patient with me, using Gua Sha, IASTM, and cupping to aid me in my path towards a once-again-normal life. They set up a time but my sister went into labor a few days before so she had to cancel. In the process of trying to rebook another appointment, it has been extremely frustrating trying to get ahold of anyone. They stopped responding to her texts so I jump in trying to get it scheduled and it's radio silence. At this point I just want a refund if she's not willing to provide the service but no one will return my calls. However, at the end of my massage I had to go to the bathroom and when I came out of the bathroom and was trying to find the lobby, I heard my massage therapist (Kade) talking with another massage therapist about how silly/weird someone looked while getting their massage. Although I wasn't positive who, I was his last appointment and it made me feel insecure that he was talking that way about me. I don't know if I will back due to that. The owner, Malcolm, reached out to me personally and assured me nothing like this should be happening and he will be addressing it. I really appreciated him reaching out and hearing the feedback from customers.
