So I'm changing my previous review..... went back to the Jerky shop after a long time..... place has gone down hill. The Jerky wall is now a jerky rack. The beef stick are served to you by a young disrespectful kid with the personality of a dead moth.... and not to mention he has more dirt under his fingernail than my gardener. I was disgusted when he handed me food.No welcome no thank you. It was a very awkward moment. Walked in and I hear a huge sigh.... "like really... I need to get off my phone and chair to help a paying customer?......" all in all I will not go back again read more

They have dill pickle popcorn. Yes it sounds weird, but it's ridiculously good. Their maple beef sticks are probably my favorite thing I've tried there. We bought some frozen brats too, I preferred the Hawaiian over the wild rice. Nice little find in a smaller town. read more

Best Jerky in MN that I've had so far. For $1 a stick and the awesome variety, you can't beat this place! Give it a try, they also have popcorn which I plan on trying next time. read more

This food quality standard makes our jerky and meat products a naturally low calorie and low fat snack. Our hand picked whole muscle meats are smoked and cooked golden brown at our Minnesota (MN) USDA inspected food processing facility. Our products are inspected, vacuum sealed and frozen to ensure freshness for a long and stable shelf-life. Choose from a variety of our jerky and meat snack products. We have a fresh inventory of beef and turkey jerky along with beef sticks in various flavors. History

Established in 1988.

The Jerky Shoppe™ started operations in 1988 as a privately owned full-service meat market in Maple Grove Minnesota, known as Maple Grove Meats, Inc. After successfully establishing ourselves at that location we began shifting focus toward State Fairs, Sportsman Shows and other large community events in the upper Midwest. Our high quality and great tasting meat products allowed us more than a decade of steady growth after our initial startup. We now have a retail location and a USDA inspected processing plant in Big Lake, Minnesota! We have an on-site USDA inspector and an operation that has allowed us to serve the upper Midwest with the highest quality USDA inspected meat and jerky products available on the market. Our "start to finish" meat processing operation sets us apart from other Jerky and snack food retailers. We hand pick our meats for processing. We then cook, cure, smoke, vacuum seal, label and freeze our products.

I visited here a few days ago when I came up to see family for a funeral…read more I found most everything easily since its so organized here. They even have an organic section! Deli food and deli workers there were really nice. I was looking for something in dairy and i asked someone for help but he was really distracted and didnt hear me. he was a wide gentleman, i think he was a higher up of somekind but he couldve just been hard of hearing. everything else i found. However at the service counter this younger native i think girl was very standoff ish like she didnt like i took away from her phone time. she walked away when i wasnt even finished speaking. I might be old but i can still pick up on rudeness. But besides that I really enjoyed the store! Very Clean and Organized. Nice little organic section and good deli! im sure the meat and frozen sections are nice too but i didnt need anything from there. it Is more expensive there but overall it was nice.

The address is actually 617 Rose Dr. They are located next to Lake Liquors which is near the US Post Office (to the west of Coborn's on Hwy 10). They actually share an entry-way with the liquor store, so enter as if you are going to get a bottle of wine and look to your right! Great stuff & affordable prices... read more
