Although I prefer not to write or say bad things about people (you never know what they might be going through at the moment), I would definitely think twice before hiring this company. Perhaps the DJ that was sent out just didn't like me, I don't know, but he was extremely rude to me and when my son and I walked up with a few requests on a piece of paper my son said that he took the paper and used it to place his wet drink on. Then at the end of the event, I asked him to play two songs for me, granted we only had five minutes left on our contact, but he pointed and tapped on his watch and told me to bad, no time left. Seriously, that is pretty bad/rude. So I hope this review doesn't come across like I'm bashing the DJ personally, but more as a reflection of the kind of service that was provided. read more

If I could cry virtual tears for this review I would. My daughter's birthday party was planned last minute. I contacted this company for kids entertainment. I tend to usually do all the games with the kids for my kids party. The last few years it's been convenient and pleasant for the kids to be entertained by a professional. I contacted The Jack Factory and gave the deposit. My daughter loves to dance and was super thrilled the Dj was going to play games and have a bubble machine. I completed a form they sent via email requesting information about the party and genre of song we wanted to play. They send me a text 20mins before entertainment was scheduled to begin that he wasn't going to make it. He said "sorry for the inconvenience and that a refund would be sent." Words can't describe how disappointed we felt. I would never hire this company. The fact he messaged be minutes after he was suppose to set up and provided no explanation was puzzling to me. Pat DJ'd an event at the preschool I work at/my children go to. It was a large end-of-year party with well over a hundred children under age 6 and their families. DJ Pat made for such a fun event - from interacting with the children through games and music and thrilling them with a bubble machine, everyone was entertained. There was constantly a group of children on the dance floor and he played great music, including current (appropriate) music, and popular good old fashioned kids songs too. We have used The Jack Factory's services for three events and have asked him to return for a fourth event. When presented with a playlist, he is flexible and is willing to follow the playlist or even make adjustments when needed. He is easy to communicate with and will meet all of your expectations. This review has been a long time coming....This is our 3rd year using Jack Factory for our elementary school dances. We've been through different DJ's and he is by far the best one at entertaining children so once we found "the one", he's been our go-to. I've never had to screen the song list or advise him what to do. He always has child appropriate music and a great mix of nostalgic music for the adults (Father Daughter Dance and Mother Son Dances). For the last 3-4yrs we hold a HUGE free community event for kids in Redlands over summer and one thing we know for sure is hiring this company to come out for the last day of camp is the best way to end it! Horrible!! As part of a parent committee for our 5th Grade children's end of year dance prior to going to middle school, we hired this company to DJ the dance. An inquiry email was sent requesting availability and price that had mistakenly had the event for 6/11. A follow up email corrected with the date of 6/10 and a contract signed for services required on 6/10 was made with a deposit of $140. Another email sent to confirm for 6/10. Come 6/10, he didn't show up. The contact person called him and asked where he was and he told her he wasn't supposed to be there til the next day. She sent him a screenshot of the signed contract for the 10th he replied with the inquiry email of the 11th. He said he would do a further event, but hello, this was their end of school year dance. He refused to give the deposit back. Many disappointed children and frustrated parents who wanted to provide an entertaining and memorable event for outgoing students. read more

We absolutely loved Pat and his DJ services at our first Father Daughter Dance at our VG Kidz Club at Victoria Gardens. The music selections were just perfect for the entire family. Pat was able to get both parents and children up and moving and really moving with some incredible nostalgic and top 40 hits. My favorite was the various games that were intertwined between musical sets. This gave me some personal time to rest from dancing in between the musical sets.
