As for the people that I dealt with, ALL were very nice to the individual. From the sales/scheduler/biller/facilitator, to the designer, and each member of the work crew. And the plants themselves were top notch (and all at full retail pricing). As for the rest (i.e.: the job itself, the quality of materials, quality the work, the attention to detail, communication with the customer and between management and the crew, professionalism, work ethic, follow-up, overall satisfaction with the experience, etc.), I'll refrain from posting the 500 word review that I wrote, and let the rating speak for itself. Simply put, the experience was not what I had expected from a company with a 30 year history in the community. None of this should come as a surprise, as there were issues at every stage. Again...Nice people (the reason for a 3 star, versus a 2 star review). Maybe I just caught them on the wrong year/decade.

They said they drained all the old gas out I said I told them I did that and told them that before I brought it in and I even done the carb bowl as I told them . What a joke they charge 10 dollars for a 2 dollar air filter. You can buy them 5 filters for 10 dollars delivered online . The website shows 10' rolls..not 10 sq. ft. rolls. Needless to say, because I was short on time, I relentlessly bought another over-priced roll. I could have gone to another place if I knew it wasnt actually a 10' roll. If it's square feet then you had better let people know it's square feet! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately, the floral designer was dismissive from the start. When I explained that I wanted a corsage to complement a bright pink dress , something white with light pink. She immediately wrote down "white rose corsage w/ silver" without letting me finish or discuss options. She rushed ahead to the bouquet before I could clarify anything. Hoping to circle back to the corsage once she seen the bouquet inspiration photos I had so both would coordinate. When I showed her the reference photo, she responded, "That has lilies. I am NOT ordering them for this." Each time I tried to speak, she cut me off or talked over me. When I reiterated that I wanted something similar to the photo, she put her pen down, looked at me, and said, "You don't want that. You know that bouquet is over $50 alone," in a tone that felt unnecessarily condescending. Instead of asking out budget she just talked down to us and insulted us. Within just a few minutes, she refused to consider the flowers I requested, dismissed my preferences, and made comments that came across as rude and judgmental. I ultimately walked out mid‑conversation because it was clear she had no interest in working with me. Instead of insulting someone about the cost of a bouquet, perhaps ask their budget next time. As I walked out she told my husband "most people don't want to pay that" justifying what she assumed was expensive for us. We then left and went a few blocks down the street and easily ordered the corsage, bouquet, fifteen centerpieces, and two display arrangements for the graduation party with no issues at all. Westland Florist lost out on several hundred dollars in business due to this designer's unprofessional and condescending behavior. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location for anyone looking to order custom floral arrangements. If you want basic grocery store looking pre made arrangements you'll be fine, but I think there may be limitations from what this designer can actually do When you want customized items.

The water pools even with the garden hose. It's unfortunate that you have to blow the water away with the grass blower or sweeping before you can play basketball with your friends. I knew it wasn't a good sign when I had to contact them twice to get them to my house and then the day of the estimate they seemed a bit confused as to whether I was waiting for them to come do an estimate or to deliver dirt,sod, etc. When she finally showed up an hour or more late she really didn't seem very interested and after talking to her for maybe 5 minutes she said she was going to take a few pictures,measure and would send me an email with the quote. I never saw her take pictures or measure?? I am still waiting for that quote Sherri...NOT..I have had multiple other estimates from people that know how to do business, but thanks anyway. Don't waste your time with them if you want a job like this done.
