The day we went was surprisingly busy because of course it was their 20th anniversary celebrations and we had no idea! Even with it being incredibly busy things came out quickly! I got to try a peach slushy margarita thingy (I forget the cute name) and that was delicious and refreshing! All the food was delicious and well made! My husband really enjoyed the burger and commented how much he liked the meat mix. The server was a delight, and all around it was a good choice to stop by! The grounds were perfectly manicured, and the staff seemed to be very helpful. I recently was married, so seeing our friends get married a couple months later made us naturally more in-tune to much of what was going on. The outdoor setting was perfect with a nice little stream, fountains, and a place for the bridal party to be set apart. inside was very rustic. Our friends had a more formal wedding, but it still worked very well. I dont think a wedding over the size of about 80-90 will work here, but for that size its great. Only down side is you have to drive on a very rocky dirt road for 1.7 miles to get here...but if you know that ahead of time and dont bring the sports car its no big deal.

We watched upstairs since my under-21 daughter was with me. When I cashed out they asked about the game, when the U.S. was playing next, and just generally about how I was enjoying the cup. Super super nice people. Good beer selection, didn't charge my daughter for soda refills, and just a generally perfect experience. They let us bring food from one of the local burger spots too.

This is quite literally the only local place that sells properly humidified cigars. They have a reasonable selection of infused and traditional cigar face brands to choose from. Additionally, as an added bonus, they even offer their own line of house cigars sourced from Nicaragua to choose from without any of the brand markups. The interior is small but clean and nicely decorated with leather and wood accents. The real sell of this place is the ambiance - a nice, comfortable, relaxing place to enjoy a cigar while chatting with other cigar smokers or watching a movie/game. There's a a pleasant timeless feeling inside. I live in an apartment so finding a spot to leisurely smoke that isn't going to violate my lease or my neighbors comfort is nothing to balk at. Lastly, this is a place for all cigar smokers, new and old. With amiable and highly knowledgeable certified tobacconists on hand, recommendations and suggestions for your first or next smoke are readily available. You do not require a membership to come in and enjoy a smoke but there are incentives to do so. I will definitely be returning to this sanctuary.

Granted it looked like all construction workers because there was nothing else but oversized trucks in their parking lot! My fiancé Googled "clean hotel without bed bugs" and Padre Hotel came up first! Their online reviews were great and we were exhausted and needed to rest! We pulled into their valet parking just to drop off our things. As my fiancé parked the car, across the street in the over night garage, I was able to get a Single King room on a Monday night for $159. As we walked into our room #701, it was rather small, but fine since it was just the two of us. As I sat on the bed, it was actually hard! Yay!!!! I can't STAND soft beds and rather sleep on the floor! Haha no joke! Then my fiancé went into the restroom and suddenly he tapped on something glass sounding as I was turning ing on the tv..... I noticed there was a curtain by the bed, so I pulled it across and lo and behold by the bed was the shower and just a curtain the person from the outside of the shower could open/close as they please..... hee. We also had a mini fridge in the room along with a desk and chair. We had planned on staying one night, but got inside LA, and we figured we'd extend our stay. Upon doing so, we went downstairs the next day and asked if there was a deal if we could stay 3-4 days, and sure enough there was!!!! It's always great to see what happens once you ask! Hee. We got a larger room with a corner room location, I forgot the room number, but the restroom was larger and had a separate wall between the toilet and shower area, so if someone was in the shower, someone else could use the toilet and not be seen. This longer hotel room also had a chaise lounge chair and a better view of their downtown area, granted a lot of the places have closed. Overall, I honestly loved our stay here! It reminded me of a county version of The Fairmont SF! They constantly played new aged country music in the lobby! Then on Fridays and Saturdays there was a live band or singer in the bar area! I love how they had a community aspect to the hotel with some local live entertainment!!! My fiancé also loved watching The Knicks play on the bar tv with other people at the bar! Hee. Oh and they had an adorable coffee shop that made Ready To Order items downstairs too! See my review at Farmacy Cafe, but too freaking too! Country SHREK! Hee We will definitely be back again!!!!!
