After six years of being in a career I didn't really want to be in, I finally resigned and figured…read moreout what it was I really wanted to be when I "grew up". After having some time off and being bored out of my ever loving mind, I decided to look up temp agencies to do something until school starts. Some of the other temp agencies I encountered were terrible. No follow through, call back, blase attitudes etc.. Thankfully I found Jean Thorne. This staffing agency is truly a class act. Being out of the process of having to look for jobs I wasn't sure how they worked. I spoke with Leslie who was incredibly helpful and insightful explaining the process. She scheduled an interview for me and I had an appointment within a few days. I met with Barb who is exceptional at follow through. Such a pleasure to deal with and nice to talk to. She really made things happen quickly and explained everything thoroughly and with detail. There was a lovely woman (who I think was the owner) on the first floor of the building in the bathroom lobby. Little did I know that we were going to the same place. I saw her in the office bringing out fresh flowers. She acknowledged me and said, " I think we met earlier". I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something temporary or something permanent. They stand out because they followed through. Took the time to explain every detail and weren't bothered when I called to inquire about their business. I wasn't met with an icy put off attitude like so many other places. Staff is warm and friendly at this location. I have nothing but admiration and praise for the staff and their resources. Thank you!!

I called several other places and I was impressed immediately from my first conversation with the owner. They really spend a lot of time with you to ensure they understand your career path and the type of career you are seeking. The owners are in the know as how job searches have changed over the years and knowledgable about the key words needed in order to get your resume recognized. I had 2 versions of my resume created and in less than a year, I found my absolute dream job! One of the best investments I've ever made in myself.

I told the company how unhappy I was with the final and she just didn't reply to my emails after that. The resume made no sense. Half of the information on it was incorrect and made up. I gave it 2 stars because they are very lenient on meeting with people for example meeting on a Saturday if you work during the week. But I redid my resume myself and it turned out so much better. Wouldn't recommend this company.

I followed their protocol for filling out time sheets and was paid appropriately. I received a bonus after 500 hours worked and would have received more benefits after 1000 hours worked if the assignment had not offered me a full-time position. I worked a total of two assignments with this agency and would highly recommend them. They were flexible and willing to understand if you turn down an assignment. Important note: Be flexible! My long term assignment was offered to me on 14 hours notice based on another temp employee quitting. Six months later, I was offered a full-time benefit earning position!

After the interview and testing had been completed Wendy pulled me into her office to go over what I was looking for as far as a career went.
