From the outside this looks like it's a nice place, butwell.
I had been invited to meet someone for a drink here, and having parked in the car park, I went in through the 'back', which did say 'Main Entrance'.
I found myself in a vast cavenous space, on my left , behind a half wall, were loads of diners and on my right appeared to be a drinking area. I was a few minutes early, but decided to sit down.
The seating is deep and designed for very tall people it seems. There are pieces of wall as screens, and a fake fire place is a screen. Everything is ultra modern with sections of wall covered in nouveau retro wallpaper. It has the atmoshere of an airport lounge.
In the few minutes before my friend arrived an older man offered to buy me a drink, and even continued to loiter when my (male) friend was with me. Girls, don't arrive here alone.!
We did have a very pleasant evening although I may have preferred to move on to somewhere else.
It took more than half an hour after I arrived for two tables to be cleared of glasses. I wasn't impressed! read more
