I hired them in the summer of 2021; I had a huge project, a full renovation. I was approved for a FHA renovation loan which they were aware of beforehand. Kelly have experience with this type of loans. Within few weeks of starting, Kelly submitted unapproved invoices to the bank behind my back, made a bunch of financial errors in their calculation, increased their initial estimate fees. The bank became suspicious and delayed funds disbursement which stretched my project. They got money hungry, try to justify their financial immorality in the name of inflation, really?!. Very disappointing! I strongly believe that they saw in me a weak target they could prey on, it's saddening and heartbreaking. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone seeking to hire a contractor. At the very least, don't hire them if you don't live on site. Unless you can be there every day to question their single move. Not a trust worthy contractor.

The woman stayed in my bathroom for 4 hours and didn't even clean the tub and broke a special expensive lightbulb on the floor, leaving glass pieces. Her husband worked in the kitchen for most of the 4 hours but never cleaned the cabinet surfaces and floor had dirt in corners The living room just needed to be vacuumed, dusted, and mopped. The floor had a quick mop and wasn't left clean. Never dusted. I gave them a chance to come and fix things but they wanted to charge me more $$. He explained the process and then we scheduled the next available spot for the inspection, a couple weeks from that call. He arrived on time and got to task immediately, He knows that I have severe mold allergies and had issues with my prior home. He made sure to thoroughly check the home for such issues. He also took detailed pictures of anything he felt needed to be repaired and by whom (owner or HOA) per the bylaws. In addition to his reporting, he explained every electronic outlet, fixture, explained how the water softener works and how to replace the filter and salts, where the water pressure valve was and how to use it. He gave me suggestions on making the home more energy efficient and suggested calling Efficiency Vermont and GMP to get best deals and rebates on upgrades. The detailed report he sent to me included high quality images with details on each image. I have attached one of those here. I cannot emphasize what a sincere pleasure it is to work with Mike.
