The employees are wonderful but dealing with the company they hired to install our appliances has been a nightmare. If your house becomes damaged because of an incorrect installation you then have to deal with Sedgwick and that is absolutely ridiculous. They assigned me an agent who doesn't communicate well at all. There is about 30,0000 dollars worth of damaged to my newly remodeling home and they only want to pay 14,000. Our next step is a lawyer which we have already consulted with and has agreed to take our case. I have ordered online a few small items earlier and been satisfied with the result. I needed a new garage refrigeratot recently and decided to take the plunge on a major appliance. It arrived today, delivered by Joseph Bessard and Cecil McBride. They kept me notified about when the delivery would happen, arrived on time, placed the new appliance where I wanted, and took away my dead one. I was pleased with their efforts. I discussed the delivery options that made the customer either (1)pay for an unwanted water line or (2)get the appliance dropped off in the driveway still in the box. A third choice needs to be: Move the item into position but omit the water line purchase. He said he would refund the water line charge and not leave the water line with me. Made many trips to Home Depot and it's clean and stocked pretty well. Finding someone to help us was a bit of a problem though. Once we did find someone they were pleasant and did their best to help us with what we were looking for. Our home wrecked by Hurricane Harvey was the reason for all our visits. We needed all types of supplies including appliances. When we ordered a refrigerator they never came or called us. This happened three times and it was frustrating. We finally canceled the order and went back to buy one that they had in stock and -carried it home. We also bought cabinets and once taking them home and unwrapped them noticed they were damaged. This place is so racist...if your are a person of color I would advise you to shop another place than this. If you have to make a delivery there be expected to be treated like a piece of crap and told by several different employees that you are late for you appointment. If you have not purchased an appliance from Home Depot. Don't. They told us we were required to buy new connections for our new washer and dryer. They would bring the connections to install at delivery. They did not have the correct connections. Of course their incompetence was our fault when we asked why they had only one type of connection for a gas dryer that they stated was different on many houses. We waited two weeks for delivery then got stuck with the set sitting in the middle of the room unhooked. The one star is for the politeness of the delivery guys. Avoid Home Depot.
