I went here to find a complex circular light bulb and the employee Brent really helped me out a lot.

A massively dishonest company…read more This is a "scratch and dent" site for appliances. Understood. However, they advertise products that are "NEW OUT OF CARTON". What does this mean to most people? NEW - Sounds like the condition of the product should be "NEW" and NOT DAMAGED OUT OF CARTON - Sounds like this should be a company (in this case GE) carton - not a bunch of cardboard thrown together with plastic wrap The price was certainly a lot less expensive, even when you add the $585 shipping cost. That being said... The fridge was brought inside, unwrapped and right away we could see a large dent in the non-dispensing french door. Smaller dents on the freezer door, scratches on the handles of both the french doors and the freezer door. This is NOT what I paid for I called the store in Lafayette, LA almost immediately. Their manager acted like this was normal and "hey we're a scratch and dent store" and this is what to expect. I'm sorry, I purchased "NEW OUT OF CARTON" and not "COSMETIC DAMAGE - FAIR". I would never have purchased this otherwise. I looked up the cost to replace the parts and asked for them to credit back the shipping cost of $585.20 for the fridge. They said they would not do that and simply wanted me to return the fridge and send a new one. When I called customer service at 877-927-7957, they were as rude as could be by cutting me off, not getting me to a supervisor or a decision maker, etc Are they out of their mind? So they would rather pay $1,000 extra to ship back and forth rather than give me a credit to go away. So, I have now disputed this with our credit card company. I'm sure nothing will happen but the exchange, but this is NOT the way business should be done. As a side note...no wonder Sears is going out of business after over 100 years. They've lost their way

Worse experience I have ever had!!…read more I purchased a washing machine from here. I was under the impression I would be receiving a NEW washer. When my husband went to pick it up and bring it home, it had several scratches and dents, including a large one with rust. I immediately called the store to notify them and the salesman told me the store was a scratch and dent store so all their appliances have cosmetic issues. At no time during my visit there was I ever told this. I did not see any signs on the door or anywhere else when I went in that mentioned I would be getting an appliance with dents and rust. I purchased a washing machine for over $800 that looked like it had been used for a year. The salesman lied to me several times during the call, but eventually told me they would give me an additional 10% off. My husband had to take off work early to go and pick this up before they closed and could not do that again, so we agreed to the 10%. I asked him to please send me an email stating the discount was credited back to my card and he assured me he would. The next day I called again because I had not received it, and he said I would have to come into the store for the refund. When I went into the store, MY salesperson was not there. I explained to the person working what was going on and that I was just there to get my refund credited back. He was very rude and told me there was no way I was receiving a refund, because I had already gotten a 5% discount when I purchased the warranty. He asked me which machine I had purchased and when I pointed to it, he said well if you purchased that specific one, we will exchange it for that one. I tried to explain that I purchased that MODEL, not that specific machine, and was under the impression I was receiving a new one because I was not told otherwise. He then proceeded to yell and tell me I just told him I purchased THIS particular washer and I needed to make up my mind which one I bought. I was so angry and on the verge of crying I asked to speak with the manager at which point I found out this WAS the manager, yelling at a woman in his store!! He also got nasty with an employee while I was there. I immediately left and called the corporate office. The lady I spoke with put me on hold and called the manager. He told her he would get with his district manager to get me my 10%, but I haven't heard from anyone and it has been a month. I also reported the interaction on their website which I have heard nothing from also. I absolutely can not believe how I was treated in this store, all over a 10% discount!! I have given up messing with it, 10% is not that important to me, but everyone needs to know what type of business practices they have.

I went to the Moss St location to rent a washer and dryer on 10/29/24 and advised to the sales…read moreassociate that my paydays fall of the 1st and the 15th of every month; I requested the 15th of each month as my payment due date. Unsolicited, I was informed by the sales associate that if I made an initial payment of $119.28 on 10/29/24 that this payment would cover renting the units until 12/01/24 and that I would then be eligible for an extension which would bring my second payment to 12/15/24. Under false pretense, per the Aaron store associate, I made the initial payment of $119.28 and on 12/02/24 the assigned account manager attempted to charge my card. I called the store to inquire and was advised that payment extensions are only available once the customer has made 4 on time payments and that they'd need to schedule a pickup if the payment could not be made. This location has displayed that they are completely fine with lying to customers to make a sale, so for anyone that plans to shop here, make sure you get everything in writing; no one employed here can be trusted.

I bought/ paid for a washer and dryer from this establishment previously. The one main issue I had…read morewhich I feel, in my opinion is totally unprofessional and unacceptable for this matter. I was in my garage with the garage door elevated as I noticed on the sidewalk two men approaching. Well one of them looked quite familiar; nonetheless, just not a familiar neighbor. As they entered my yard, the familiar face spoke to some sort & I immediately recognized the store mgr.. It wasn't that they were just in the neighborhood home-shopping and decided to drop by, NO!! They were looking for a payment. I do not recall, but I may/ may not have been late with my payment. Not sure how that could have happened when I put down almost $700.00 or more to start and continued to make the monthly premiums. Whatever the case, a phone call, an email, text, etc., would have been a more appropriate/ professional approach. In my opinion, if it is not agreed/ asked/ arranged for you to show up UNANNOUNCED at someone's house to collect/inquire about a payment when the due date is approaching or maybe even a few days late is harassing, I FEEL!! The most amazing thing about this is, they had no problem with me making my payments previously, (even if it was late, it did not overlap into the next month) and I communicated with them about my account. If a call was placed to me from the company, I answered accordingly; however, If I needed an arrangement, I called the firm and someone would assist me. So, why would they show up as if we were friends and I invited them over for dinner? I contacted someone in Corporate to explain/complain/comment and I was told they would contact me back.. I do not have an a response about that because no one took me serious enough to contact A CUSTOMER back. I knew then I would never deal with this company ever again. The next issue is that once you payout the entire balance on an appliance, they will only assist you for two months afterwards. In my opinion, I feel that maybe a year would be suitable.. but a rule is a rule. I contacted them about an issue I have with my dryer. They didn't even ask what the issue was, no info on how/ where to service, my appliance, nor did they do any PROBING FOR A POSSIBLE SALES OPPORTUNITY AGAIN OR IN THE FUTURE!!!! in my opinion, I feel, since I'm not giving anymore payments, why deal with me. That's exactly how they made me feel. So Aaron's I get the message, in my opinion, I feel you guys want me to seek out other competitors. I totally will do that.

We have used Mitch Romero's several times for various appliance problems and have been both pleased…read moreand impressed by their services. This is a very well-run business; I can't imagine it being rated "two-star". Our home is rather rural, although only 10 miles from a metro area of some 450,000, but some services charge exorbitant "road service fees" to just come over. We have tried others, but their service polices put even regular customers at the back of their list, even for acute refrigeration failures. Mitch has good response times, gives plain-talk quotes, offers alternatives, and sends workers who know their stuff, are polite, neat & clean. One caveat: If you do have to go to this business location, please put the address in your navigator first. It is just North of the Village of Meaux, Louisiana. Go to Meaux, LA, then go the very short distance, a few blocks, to Mitch Romero's. Rick

Last year, I purchased a dishwasher and this year I purchased an over the range microwave oven…read moreunit. Store hours are convenient; employees are polite and professional; product prices are reasonable and product defects are clearly communicated. I find it easier to shop here than in a big box store, whether I visit it in-person or over the phone. Similar to other appliance stores, I do find that delivery fees are high so if the product fits in your vehicle that's one way to achieve further cost savings. Installation fees are also similar to other establishments-DIY can maximize your cost savings, so compare installation fees and explore hiring your own installation vendor or do it yourself.

Avoid this place. Purchased a fridge and paid for delivery which includes their "warranty"…read more(warning, it's a third party company). After five months the fridge stopped cooling so I had to file a claim. The short version is it took three weeks and a $100 deductible to even get someone to diagnose the issue. Week four without a fridge the "warranty" company said it was too costly to repair so they offered to pay about half of what I paid. Reminder this fridge was five months old at this time. Are you wondering what this store said about all of this? I could buy another fridge and pay again to have it delivered. The best thing I can do is never go here again and attempt to warn others. I paid $1,079 + $100 delivery (I'm not going to include taxes in this). The fridge stopped working five months later. I paid $100 deductible and waited four weeks for the "warranty" company to say it's a total loss and offer $700. The "work with me" part I guess means I was allowed to purchase another fridge with my payout and pay another $100 to have it delivered? So after spending a total of $1,279 they were nice enough to allow me to purchase another fridge with my $700 plus another delivery fee. Oh wait, even the cheaper fridges were more than that so I would have also paid the difference in cost for another model. No thanks. If the store or anyone else thinks that is good business then I have nothing else to say. And to be clear about this "warranty". The one year means nothing, it is just pro-rated. So if your item breaks beyond repair in month 11 of this "warranty", you will end up paying them money (remember the deductible) for them to not fix or replace and will be offered about 10% of what you paid.
