I came in here looking for and item because the app said it was available at this location. Once at…read morethe store the item was nowhere to be found. A very nice lady working at the customer service desk was able to get me some one for the department I was in to see if they could find the item. Unfortunately the young man was not able to find the item either. The manager for the department came over and she said it shows that what I was looking for was in the store. But since they weren't able to find it she if I could find a comprable item I could get it for the same price. Which is exactly what I ended up doing. I want to thank the lady who's working the customer service, the young man working the department and the manager of the department.

I attempted to find it myself before asking an associate. At the time I didn't know the proper name of said hardware so I described it as a sofa nut while showing the associate a sofa leg I brought into the store. The associate asked if I've been down the hardware aisle which, I said "yes." The associate pointed to a regular screw nut. I said that's not sofa hardware. Once again displaying the sofa leg, I described the hardware I'm looking for is furniture repair hardware hoping he's changed a sofa leg or two in his lifetime. The associate then tells me that this is an equipment hardware store and that I need to go to a "furniture store" for furniture hardware. Already knowing furniture stores don't sell furniture repair hardware, I excused him. I checked again before leaving and found something called a "tee nut." The only downside was the size I needed wasn't in stock. I headed over to Lowe's that has a similar hardware aisle and found a drawer actually labeled "furniture parts"(Home Depot has these same drawers but are not labeled as such.) I purchased a pack but unfortunately they weren't there right size either. I actually found better and correct sized hardware at Stines in Broussard.

It was delivered with incorrect accessories and a few missing parts. No big deal, as that's what customer service is there for. Less than two weeks after taking delivery, I brought the 700W charger to the store, letting them know that the mower comes with a 1600W charger (this makes many hours of difference in charging the batteries). The assistant store manager, Tommy, was dismissive and was unwilling to offer any resolution. I later offered the idea of a discount, given that I could then buy the correct charger - Tommy said "no I'm not going to do that," and I think even tried to stare me down. His whole tone seemed to indicate that I was trying to take advantage of him or the store - I just wanted the correct items that were to be included in my purchase. The next day, I decided to just return the whole thing, given Tommy's personality towards me. Loaded up the mower, all parts that were delivered with it, and brought it to the store. I don't think Tommy was working, but then again, no manager ever did come to speak with me. They simply told the nice returns worker that my item was a clearance item and sold "as-is," with no ability to be returned (it's not listed that way on the receipt). Again, a manager never did actually show up, despite the returns worker calling and asking them to 2 or 3 times over the course of 20+ minutes. I called Lowe's corporate customer service from home about an hour later. They scheduled a delivery truck to handle the return for the next day. This place that I got is going to need everything - full re-pipe, windows, re-wiring, new bathrooms and kitchen... just everything. The Lowe's on Ambassador Caffery isn't going to see another cent of that. Thanks, Tommy and crew!
